The Colts have taken plenty of crap since they chose to sit their starters vs the Jets during the regular Season, costing them a chance at a perfect Season. I think they're happier than a pig in poop with this matchup tomorrow. Dallas Clark presents a HUGE matchup problem for the Jets D, and Manning won't sweat giving up Wayne/Revis, and will use his other options to attack the Jets at all 3 levels with confidence. I expect the Colts to get out to an early lead,
Manning and the Colts have motivation beyond going to the Super Bowl to win this Game, and when Manning is motivated, it's downright dangerous. With the idea that 'we beat them when it mattered', I think the Colts are going to make an example out of the Jets as they tune up for the Super Bowl. It's wishful thinking to think that this line will drop below 8. I'll probably buy it down to 7 just to play the early game safe, with a strong play on the money line as well, my goal being to build a cushion to wager on the late Game over.
I got Vikings/Saints at 53, and I bet it with confidence. I think 27-24 is a reasonable low-end expectation, and that one of these Teams, most likely the Saints IMO, is going into the 30's, and the other won't be far behind.
A nice way to end the Seasons for folks who frequent a Fantasy Football Message Board: Vikings/Saints ought to be a barn burner, and Colts vs either one in the Super Bowl would be the kind of finale I think we'll all gush over.
...well, at least that's my take.
Good Luck, everyone!
