***Official Compass Bowl and FCS Championship Game thread*** (2 Viewers)

Not that it matters but Michigan's starting the freshman at QB today.
Why do you say that? K-ST is nothing special. I give your boys a pretty fair shot.
The game is meaningless. That's all. I'll be watching, trying to get a glimpse at the future but that's about it.
Well not meaningless, they got four extra weeks of practice and the defense got more time to scheme. All these games are important to the program and getting to see Morris is an added bonus I suppose.

A lot of bowl games wanted this crowd, totally different atmosphere than just about every other game so far.

Also Commish, I still don't know if Hoke is necessarily a good X's and O's coach. He will coach against one of the best in all of college football tonight, that is a good test for Hoke.

Why not run man with a safety lock on Lockett? They had that played perfectly except for letting Lockett, one of the best receivers in the country, to run open on a one-man-route. Terrible.

OU fans are always #####ing about Stoops and I get on them. Why? I'd like to present Michigan football in the BW3 Bowl as exhibit A. :bye:

It really is. Funchess has all the talent in the world but he drops way too many passes, and they usually are in key spots. They had to score a TD o that drive, game over.

Man, time flies. Seems like Lockett's dad Kevin was playing at K-St. about 5 years ago.

But Tyler was born just days after he turned 18, so that helps.

Shane's mother cried when she heard he would be making his first start.

Then she cried some more when she watched him play.

Morris has completed 19 passes at an average of 4.4 yards per. That's not easy to do.
His OCord is a moron.

Bill Snyder doesn't get nearly enough credit, I seriously think he's one of the three or four best coaches in the past 30 years in the NCAA. If he had Texas talent, I can't image what he'd do.

I agree. He's perfect for that program too. Gonna be hard to not let it slip back when he leaves.

Yeah...after that "performance" I'm going to pretend they just treated it like a vacation. I do think Morris can be a very good QB, but I have zero confidence in Borges. It's nice to see they gave RR the keys to the defense for, hopefully, the last time...good lord!!

Snyder tried retiring once and it didn't take. K-State held a big ceremony, renamed the stadium after him, and three years later he was back on the sidelines.Don't know how a roster of 5-star divas would respond to Snyder's approach, but wow does Snyder get a lot out of guys passed over by big programs and juco transfers with a lot to prove.

I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech, and a hell of an engineer—
A helluva, helluva, helluva, helluva, hell of an engineer.
Like all the jolly good fellows, I drink my whiskey clear.
I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer.

Oh! If I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in White and Gold,
And put her on the campus to cheer the brave and bold.
But if I had a son, sir, I'll tell you what he'd do—
He would yell, 'to hell with Georgia!' like his daddy used to do.

Oh, I wish I had a barrel of rum and sugar three thousand pounds,
A college bell to put it in and a clapper to stir it round.
I'd drink to all the good fellows who come from far and near.
I'm a Ramblin', Gamblin', hell of an engineer!

Embarrassing for Ole Miss not to go for it on 4th & inches as big as their OL is. I don't care if they were on their own 10.

Looking forward to Oregon vs Texas.

Will Mack go out with a win?

Does Oregon want to be there?

If Todd Blackledge lets us know one more time that Texas needs to STAY AHEAD OF THE CHAINS, I will begin murdering people.
