Official-Cowboys release Keyshawn (1 Viewer)

Who gives a crap about the star incident? That was great in my opinion. Yes, I hated it. Yes, I wanted someone to clock T.O. but he was an Eagle, I am a Cowboys fan. When Emmitt scored and took the ball back to the star and slammed it down, I friggin loved it. One of my favorite memories in history.

Then what happened? the Cowboys released the all time rushing leader. The guy who carried them to three Super Bowl wins. The guy who became the face of the Cowboys. After that, I am have become numb to loyalty. If a guy is in Dallas, he is family, the second he is gone, he is forgotten.

T.O. didn't bang my sister. (Although he could if he agreed to come to Dallas)

I have no hard feeling towards him.

Bryant and TO are way different. Bryant couldn't even make the team with Cleveland. He was an average at best WR.
Not to hijack, but 1,000+ yards is not exactly "couldn't even make the team". They knew he would cost more than they were willing to pay him as a FA.

You sound like you're still bitter about Quincy Morgan...
Nope, not at all. i hated Bryant the entire time he was in Dallas. Most people are forgetting what a whiney head ache this kid was. He created all kinds of problems complaining about everything and producing nothing.

TO was a 49er when he pulled that crap.

You're still wrong about him "not making the team" in Cleveland. And a rookie season of 733 yards with 6 TDs is "nothing"?

Right, so he looked like he was going to live up to his potential and then spent the next two years doing absolutely nothing and complaining about EVERYTHING. He was is and always will be an over rated punk.

Cowboys release Keyshawn Johnson

By CLARENCE E. HILL JR.STAR-TELEGRAM STAFF WRITER

IRVING -- Receiver Keyshawn Johnson has been released by the Cowboys, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Johnson is a due $1 million roster bonus by 3 p.m. He was informed by owner Jerry Jones at about 2:30 p.m. of the team’s decision to not pay the bonus and release him.

“It’s a business,” Johnson said. “I am thankful they brought me here. I feel good. I get a chance to be a free agent for the first time. If you want a receiver that is going to get it done. I am available.”

Johnson, who will represent himself in free agency, said Jones told him that the Cowboys would consider re-signing him once he tested the market and determined his value. Johnson said he would give the Cowboys an opportunity to do so.

A 10-year veteran, Johnson caught 141 passes and 12 touchdowns the past two years for the Cowboys.

He led the Cowboys in receptions in 2005 with 71 catches.

Well, at least they may resign him once his market value is determined.......

Seems to me you can't be overrated if you catch for over 1,000 yards from QB studs Dilfer and Frye...but that's just me...

Nothing wrong with Frye or Dilfer. If Bryant is so great like you are saying, why did the Browns just let him walk with no effort to resign him? Why did he land with the worst team in football? Why were no other teams fighting for his services?

exactly......

Keyshawn in NE, KC or return to Dallas would be my initial guesses.

But who knows, maybe Dannyboy will throw a few more mil his way. He seems to like #2 WRs......
