Thoughtful Investing puts a lot of work into his posts but they are often based on faulty assumptions. For instance, he'll have elaborate posts about institutional investing. But then he'll explain that the way he determines what is an institutional investment is any buy or sell of 10,000 shares or more is an institutional investment. Obviously, a trade of 10,000 shares does not mean it's an institution. Yesterday, he was talking about there being 3 short attacks because 50k, 65k, and 100k shares were traded. Again, someone selling that many shares isn't necessarily shorting or even likely shorting.
