Patience is truly a virtue, isn't it.I hear ya. The Bucs did average 4.6 ypc today and you're right, that is totally unacceptable. Zero sacks, yes, but alot of pressure. Jenkins had one interception brought back by a penalty on Sensabaugh (that was bogus I might add) and nearly had another. They were close at times, but just didn't fully execute for one reason or another. I'm just saying it was their first game. Let's allow them to get a few games under their belt before we crucify them.Im willing to concede some plays but Tampa was CONSISTENTLY getting 5+ yards a pop with Cadillac Williams running the ball which is totally unacceptable add in the fact that Dallas recorded zero sacks and no turnovers. Byron Leftwich missed open recievers and Tampa recievers dropped the ball. Off the top of my head Tampa left at least 20 points on the field. Also your forgetting the mixups in the secondary that Leftwich failed to capitalize on. It was inexcusable to allow Tampa even a shot at a field goal at the end of the first half. These kind of mistakes were the downfall of Dallas last year. There only silver lining in the play of the defense was no bonehead penalties.I know everybody is expressing concern with the play of the defense today, but c'mon, it's Week One. On the road. As I posted this morning, this defense has 5-6 new starters and it may take a little time to gel. Yes, it was evident that they weren't in sync at times, but with limited time together in the preseason and playing so much vanilla in those games this is to be expected. I think we should afford them at least a little bit of time. There weren't many, if any, defenses that came out like gangbusters today. Heck, even Baltimore had the Chiefs nipping at their heels today without Cassel in the lineup.I, for one, am willing to afford this unit a little more time to get things together than just four quarters.

We're on our way.
I know, we all were pulling our hair out over these guys because we saw the potential talent these guys had and it was practically torture to see them lose some of those games.Credit to all the Dallas coaches especially Wade Phillips. Ever since he took over coaching that defense, he's really turned that unit around. That's why Dallas has a shot to beat Minnesota. They need to put pressure on Farve and force him into making those throws we all know Brett Farve can make.Minny is 8-0 at home, so it will be supremely important to start well in that game as the Metrodome will be super loud. It's great to have Dallas alive with only 8 teams left though.I hope T. Choice didn't suffer a concussion at the end of that game. Not seeing Barber in the game from quarter 1 bothers me some too.
On to Minny.
On to Minny.
