Huh? They have the second best record in baseball.

All that is BS. They have not played well in the past two weeks. I bet they lose 2-3 to the Rangers this weekend. We need a leadoff hitter!

Top of the 9th... ...2-1, Tigers...

Can we please leave Todd Jones in the bullpen...please?
Top 9th: Chi White Sox

- T. Jones relieved J. Zumaya

- A. Cintron hit for J. Uribe

- A. Cintron flied out to deep left center

- A.J. Pierzynski hit for C. Widger

- A.J. Pierzynski flied out to deep center

- B. Anderson flied out to deep right

Good night. Just because you lost 2 of 3 to the best team in baseball you think the sky is falling.
Hey man just live well knowing that you won. This Sox team is flat enjoy the year u r having. We need some motivation some where but it is not looking good thus far with the Red Sox and Yanks kicking our asses in...

I see that the pale hose just recalled Sean Tracey just in time for the Ranger series. You think Ozzie will bring him in to face Blalock again?

I keep saying this, but I just can't ####### believe they are 64-31!

Pretty unbelievable season and it feels GREAT!!!

Thanks for the question- I think that we have bigger issues to deal with now. Based on the past- the Sox generally steer clear of fights and such sans the Cubs thing with Barrett

5.5 game lead.

And the Tigers stil haven't beaten anyone!!!!! :excited:
That is the cool thing. We heard it all last year. Hell whn th Yankees swept us their fans were still going on about how we did not play anyone! Hey grab some cold ones and have some fun. Hopefully the Sox can play well all around soon to keep the heat on....

White Sox of late:1-2 vs. Boston

1-2 vs Detroit

0-3 vs. NYY

-----

2-7 overall

Note

*White Sox are 6-3 vs Detroit on the season

So 67 games to go. Even playing about .500 ball (34-33) would give them a 98-64 mark. The Sox, or somebody, would have to have a heck of a season to beat that. Bass ackwards logic, I know, but it shows how powerful their season to date has been.

...and we still have Maroth coming back (whom a friend of mine, a college baseball coach, says is possibly their best pitcher).

You are correct - those games have been very close between these two teams....

He's on crack. Maroth is ont their best pitcher.

Another song making the rounds... "Shake the CoPa". Again, not that impressed. Bring back "Bless You Boys!"

and the Sox are down after giving up another big (5 run) inning. Push the lead to 6 1/2?

I'm losing a great parlay because of the CWS, but you know what, it's never felt so good to see money go down the drain :banned:

Not in my wildest dreams would I think the White Sox would be looking up at 61/2 games to anyone this year.

Couple that with the fact that they've been healthy all year and I'm pretty much dumbfounded at how this is unfolding

I have the exact same thought. I'm just amazed by these Tigers.

Maroth is good, but right now I'd put Verlander & Bonderman ahead of him. Maybe Rogers too if his smoke & mirrors holds up like it did last start.

Tigers are having the perfect blend of great pitching, clutch hitting and Leyland.

Someone do me a favor. When the Tigers go into a bit of a slump, which is going to happen... it happens to every team, every year, good or bad, please reference this post to remind me that it's normal and not to panic.

TIA

ETA: In the mean time... :pickle: :excited:

FWIW... I'm out the door headed to the park for today's game. Any other FBGs going? I'll be in my normal seat (117/6/24)... come by and see me!
