Trump said Clinton & Obama founded ISIS. Actually, ISIS's roots trace back to 2004, when Bush was president.

Does this really need a Politifact analysis or even a debate? One of Trump's proxies claimed Khan's son's death in Iraq in 2004 was due to Obama, this is pretty much on the same level of inanity.

Trump speaking now to the National Home Builders Association in Miami.

Very low energy.

Crowd clapping and laughing.

Hillary is taking a nap.

It is funny how the GOPe, the left, the media, certain military suits in Hillary's pocket, and special victim groups hate Trump, but people who get up and go to work each day, people who create things, people who serve and protect the country for the most part love him.

Given that it was just announced that hackers have access to 100 top Democrat leaders' emails potentially exposing even more corruption and crime, we should expect Trump to make a joke that the media turns into a national crisis by lunch.

By the way the 'US created ISIS' lie started before Trump decided to pull it out of his hat. It's source has been Russian and anti-US propaganda now for several years. That kind of analysis would be useful.

just curious - do you have the ability to discuss Trump without referencing Hillary?

Definitely for some of the posters here. Not that they accept fact checking sites but someone needs to set the record straight.

So only a small minority are in Hillary's pocket and the vast majority of Americans love Trump?  So that means he's up about 90-10 in the polls, right?

what percentage of the US population do you figure actually loves Trump (for the most part, of course)

I have an observation/theory about Trump. Anytime an attractive woman is not falling over herself to get close to him he lashes out at them. This happened with Megyn Kelly, and the MSNBC reporter Katy Tur.   I think this also ties into why he was so involving the beauty pageants, the women there always acquiesced to him and treated him like he was a superman. Also being young rich in New York in the 80's be must have had women throwing themselves at him, and it has deformed his viewpoint of women, but how people see him.

Katy Tur

More absurd: thinking Trump would be a good President, or thinking that he has a chance to win in November?

The good news is that most of the Trumpkins in here fall into both categories, which means we'll have plenty more to  :lmao: at over the next three months.

This isn't just how Trump deals with women, it's how he deals with everyone. It's classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder stuff.

His dealings with women are embarrassing as a fellow man.

To quote my aunt after hearing about his tussle with Kelly, "For heaven's sake, how small could his penis be?"

Quote from Gucci takes the cake.

"but people who get up and go to work each day, people who create things, people who serve and protect the country for the most part love him (Trump)."

Satire.

Holy crap man.  Really?  Do you know how many people ripping on Trump and his ilk in this thread aren't voting for Hillary?
Since when did facts ever get in the way of a good Trump supporter rant?

Didn't you see FavreCo say he was killing it.

Believe him...it has to be true.

You know what - hold on.

The GOP nominee has now repeatedly stated that the president of the USA is a traitor who "founded" and is "MVP" of a terrorist group dedicated to mass murder, genocide really.

This is a lie that has been put out now for several years by enemies of the US. It did not just grow like a flower from his brain. Now this is being telegraphed internationally by a man that foreigners presume knows something.

He's not saying just Obama created Isis. He's saying AMERICA created Isis, you, me, all of us here, Americans. People need to stop laughing. This isn't satire or a road show. This is harmful to our country and IMO it's damned near treasonous.

People should be angry as hell. It's a godamned treasonous lie.

Reasons the election isn't over:

1.) There's still 90 days until Election Day. Anything can happen, literally anything can happen. I'm sure you guys thought Golden State won the NBA Finals when they were up 3-1.

2.) There are still 3 debates. These debates will be the highest viewed program next to the Super Bowl this year. Lot of time for impressions to be made.

3.) Both candidates have extremely high unfavorable ratings. The polls are getting closer and closer everyday. Push come to shove, more people are probably going to stay home Election Day than the polls indicate.

4.) A high percentage of people haven't even been paying much attention to this election cycle. Most people will start paying attention the month before or literally make a decision on Election Day.

5.) Donald Trump has literally spent nothing on negative ads with a campaign sitting on stacks of cash. He raises 82-million last month and he's neck and neck with Hillary in many swing states. Let's not call the race until money has been spent to actually hurt Hilary.

6.) Wikileaks, Russia, somebody has a mound of dirt on Hilary, the DNC, and the Clinton Foundation. These e-mail leaks have been completely strategic and there is consistently rumors that there is a big surprise coming in October. Outside forces have their fingerprints all over this election.
Solid list but I think this is more of a reason of why this election might not be a blowout.   Clinton is >+6% in enough states to give her the election.   Anything is possible, but the probably is so small that Trump can overcome that.

What traditionally Republican leaning states WON'T be in play for Hillary this election?
I'd say any state that has voted GOP in every recent election AND is almost entirely white is off the table for Clinton, except maybe Utah because of the Mormon thing. So Montana, Idaho, the Dakotas, Wyoming, Oklahoma. And maybe West Virginia, because of the way climate change issues have turned coal producers deep red. Other than that everything is at least plausibly in play if Trump's numbers keep dropping. I don't think they will, though. I think the polls showing a 50-39 split or thereabouts are pretty close to Trump's floor.

I dunno, I think a lot of people actually see it this way.

Every democrat is someone who doesn't work and is looking for a handout. Obama is secretly a muslim terrorist. Illegal immigrants are the reason that they can't get a decent job. Sharia law is slowly taking over. The country is doing worse than it was 8 years ago. Boring centrist Hillary Clinton is the most vile, corrupt human being that ever lived.

They are simply detached from reality. And in this day and age when you can keep yourself in the right-wing media bubble and stick your fingers in your ears and blame everything that doesn't go your way on the liberal media, people just slide farther and farther into insanity.

White men who want to make America Great Again and beautiful women love Trump. It's up to Hillary to cobble together a coalition from the remnants.
So...about 5% of the country loves him? (and that is being generous)

You think beautiful women love him?

:lmao:

If more prominent Republicans disavow Trump - and I don't see how that won't happen - I could see Hillary winning unexpected states. She might not gain their votes, but Johnson or whoever might. Could be enough.

I think he can fall further if / when the Republican Party abandons him. Which they will if it becomes apparent that he is hurting them down ballot significantly. Republican turnout will also decline as the reality that they're getting slaughtered sinks in.

Hispanic majority by 2020, 2024 at the latest. And they will remember Trump.
This may be the single biggest misstep the GOP has made in recent memory - and there's been quite a few.

The changing demographics in this country are VERY clear. Hispanics are the fastest-growing voting group. And they keep voting heavily Democrat.

So, in response, the GOP nominated a guy who calls Mexican immigrants rapists and murderers.

"How do we put out this huge fire?"

"Pretty sure another gallon of gasoline will do the trick."

Yeah, how the heck does she think she's gonna win with just 87% of the vote?
Welfare recipients, homeless, free cell phone reciepients and illegals generally don't vote..

forgot to add Social Security disability frauds...
