Yeah most likely. However these are not crappy businessmen to the level of Trump, at some point they could stop throwing good money after bad and seek to preserve their brand.

Prediction. Trump totally loses it. "I will **** your party for years unless you give me my money", "I will do whatever is in my power to ruin your brand from now until the election unless you put that money into my account", "you to see bad??  I will destroy your party you will not be able to elect a dog catcher when I am done with you".

Notice that whenever Trump is attacked he attacks back twice as bad if possible. This is his nature and I think by most respects the reason some people feel he got the support during the primary.  NewsFlash: This isn't the primary anymore.

I still think when said "leverage" last year he meant leverage, as in financial leverage.

It feels bad now, but the shellacking hasn't happened yet. Hillary Clinton is going to get sworn in as president in January. We're not even close to absorbing this. That orange piece of #### fraud made a mockery of an election and the result is going to be the most corrupt president ever.

The lame reality shows and crap products kind of made him a cheesy joke. The Obama birther stuff started cementing his buffoon status. This process has just made it abundantly clear to everyone that he's a creepy, boorish loser.

 
The last two republicans to have major success are George W. Bush and Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Both won by promising money to the middle and lower classes.  Bush promised the "Bush tax cut" and mailed everyone a check for $300.  Schwarzenegger won the Governorship of California because Gray Davis slapped a $300 tax on license plates and Arnold pledged to repeal it.  

There's your lesson from 21st century politics.  Republicans need to put money in the hands of the poor while blaming the democrats for withholding that money.

The bolded is simply not true. Foreigners have been scratching their heads wondering how/why he's even a candidate, and I've heard from several that absolutely want to see him lose (and not one who wants to see him win)

Yep...but at some point along the way he stopped being merely anti-establishment and became something far darker and more sinister. Somehow, millions like you have failed to notice it, or accept it when it's pointed out to you. Trump has, on several occasions over the past few weeks, crossed the lines between "anti-establishment", and "traitor".

There have been some otherworldly corrupt Presidents in the more distant past, folks Hillary couldn't hold a candle to in the corruption department. Not trying to suggest she isn't corrupt, because I do think she'd be the most corrupt in several decades, but most ever? She isn't even in the running for that.

This is really why he's most unqualified to be president. When presidents speak, things happen, all words have meaning. He is too stupid to realize that or too cynical/selfish to care. This has already damaged our country. It's out there internationally, a US presidential candidate has confirmed the US created Isis, the damage is done.  This should not be getting the usual eye roll.

Exactly. There is probably a tiny thought in the back of his mind that, "Oh, what I say matters and people take seriously". But I doubt it will resonate. I don't think he is stupid, but is to selfish to care.

And I hope, though it won't happen, is for reporters to always ask him, do you mean this or is it sarcasm
