Besides him paying himself for stuff like water, hotel usage, plane flights probably at a bit of a premium price I think it's more he is just incompetent at running a campaign.
I'll go with "this is all just a publicity stunt." I'll take a side of good old fashioned incompetence, though.

Trump claims Obama bribed NY AG to sue over Trump U

Apparently, per Trump, Obama met with the NY AG, arranged a $15k bribe, and the next day the NY AG sued Trump U

. . . Except it turns out that the Obama never met with the guy

Oh, and the "bribe" was campaign donations from a law firm

Also, the donations were from 3 years earlier - before the NY AG was elected NY AG

Almost forgot - Trump gave the AG roughly equivalent donations

Last week, RNC spokesman Sean Spicer disputed a report that the RNC had told Trump he was reallocating party resources away from the presidential campaign. Priebus retweeted Spicer's August 11th denial. Meanwhile, the official GOP Twitter account, a Politico reader pointed out Monday, hasn't mentioned Trump or used the campaign's hashtag #TrumpPence since July 28th.
Seems like maybe they're cutting him off without actually saying they're cutting him off. Which would be the smartest play for them IMO.

And isn't there much clearer evidence that Trump bribed the Florida AG to NOT sue over Trump U?

[googles for 30 seconds]

Yes, there is

Good call by Trump to bring this up, can't see any way that could backfire

Sounds like a good idea in theory -- right up until Trump responds by swinging the focus of his campaign to attacking the Republican Party and away from Hillary.

I don't think he brought that up.  It was the totally dishonest press acting on their own.  Sad!

Edit: I mean today.  Trump apparently brought that up in February, but no one was paying attention then.

Now that he's getting his first classified intel brief, I expect to hear more "people have told me" type statements.

Worst case for a Hillary presidency is Neville Chamberlain.  She's going to get rolled constantly on foreign policy, and we're all going along for the tumble.

Best case scenario is that she does a caretaker job for 4 years until someone that can actually handle the office comes along.  Like Obama, there is nothing good that can come from her presidency, we just have to pray that the damage isn't irreversible.

The fact that we know 100% that Hillary would never fire a nuclear weapon (and that we can't say the same for Trump) is a plus for Trump in my opinion.  If our enemies know that Hillary will never use that weapon, even if it's used on us or our allies, they are going to use that to their advantage.  If they're thinking "we can't push this Trump guy around, he might freaking nuke us" I'd say that makes the US stronger, not weaker.
Sometimes I just have a lapse in memory and I confuse you and @Slapdash I really don't know why (sorry slap).  Then I read that last paragraph and it pretty much clears up any memory problem I may have been having.

Obviously, anything that Michael Moore says needs to be taken with an entire shaker of salt, but his take is pretty much exactly how I'm reading this entire situation.
Sounds about right.

Seriously, have any of you EVER heard a candidate talking about losing an election or an election being rigged, months before the actual election?

He's getting out in front of it now with this loser talk so the blow isn't so harsh on Nov 9.

I absolutely believe that last part of the article, that there is NOTHING on earth worse in Trump's mind than being called a loser. And he's gonna lose BIG in this one.

He said he would be the first candidate to make money running for President and it looks like he will.  That's all it's about IMO.
Yup. Up-charging for hotel rentals and support. He has had so many shady things he has done or stupid things he has said it is hard to remember them all but in June right before he ran out of money there were stories of him paying himself something like 5 million for this type of stuff over the course of a month.

Maybe in some third world #### hole.  It really is unprecedented for the US.

If this is where he is now, think about how much worse he'll be as we get closer to the election.

:lmao:

Great shtick.  Keep it coming.

This is what I go with. He's setting up a narrative for why he lost.

Im in the he never thought he would seriously win the nom camp but the stupid wall crap took hold and a bunch of other factors got him the win. His out of control ego then convinced him maybe he could win.

Not buying for a second he's sabotaging himself. This is why amateurs don't do this, running a campaign is serious stuff.

Oh, and he's an idiot.

First Trump Poll results are in:

Who will you vote for in November?

Trump = Many People

Clinton = Very few, low energy people

Mama June = One Guy in Alabama
Session got a good tongue lashing for that one.  He now has to alternate with Christie on picking up Trump's dry cleaning.

I'm torn, personally. How hard is it, really, to know that you should have a basic campaign staff in the battleground states? Or that you should probably spend at least $1 on TV advertising? I agree that he's obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed, but some of the stuff that his campaign isn't bothering to do is sooooo basic that it's hard to believe that everyone on his staff is just. that. dumb. He might not be actively / intentionally sabotaging himself, but if a way out presents itself, and he can bail without looking like a loser or losing his worshippers, he'll take it.

I seriously believe if he actually got in the WH Trump would consider creating a state run media arm to put the 'official' version of the 'news' out.
Reminds me of this tweet from a few years back, which Brandon McCarthy tweeted out last night.

@realDonaldTrump

"I played football and baseball, sorry, but said to be the best bball player in N.Y. State-ask coach Ted Dobias-said best he ever coached."

-----

Strong Kim Jong-un similarities...

I am hoping he comes to his senses and endorses Johnson.
If I'm Johnson I don't think I accept that endorsement and even if Johnson does acknowledge and perhaps accept it I don't see any/many of Trumps followers voting for Johnson or anyone else for that matter.  This election is a lost cause for Republicans.
