Was not impressed. When trying to make the point about reaching a particular point of debt would turn us into a large scale Greece, Colbert asks what is so magical about that number and Trump pretty much says "I don't know, that's what they tell me." I expect more from a Presidential candidate if he is going to bring up a particular point. I fear his lack of depth of knowledge, outside of building a wall, on a great many topics.
Were you paying attention, or are you intentionally being wrong to push your anti Trump agenda? He didn't say I don't know, he said "It is the number we become like a large scaled Greece."
First, I don't have an anti Trump agenda. The above was my first post in this thread. Secondly, I said exactly what you said in my original post. I was referring to Colbert's follow up question to his statement, where Trump brushed him off without being able to give an explanation of why the speicific figure he quoted was significant.

To be fair, Colbert kept interrupting him. Whole interview was done in jest by Colbert, can't expect Trump to be 100% serious.

I've kind of tuned out of all politics lately. Has Trump proposed any specifics to his policies yet? Any more info on this tremendous wall he is going to build on his first day in office?
The middle of this wall is going to have a giant door for all who want to come into the country legally.

He also explained that the wall can be paid for by what I believe he quoted as a 20 billion dollar trade deficit we have with Mexico. Stating that he wall's cost is a fraction or said deficit.

He's pretty much running on the premise of solving illegal immigration, increasing taxes on hedge funds, creating jobs, cutting better trade deals internationally, taking care of veterans, and most importantly making America great again!

By being a hardnosed business man. The facts are the facts, Mexico had taken advantage of America for far too long and if they don't comply Trump will make it nearly impossible for them to conduct business with us.Their drugs come in and our money goes out. It's amazing, it's like one big magic act.

Bucky, Bucky, don't worry about how. You're gonna love it. You're going to be so happy. It's going to be spectacular.

Give Mexico a chance to comply or tax the hell out of them. They'd be fools not to build the wall considering how much they profit from us.

The problem is the thought that we "need" Mexico. Mexico needs us. We can survive just fine without Mexico.

Maybe when the citizens of Mexico can't just flee their own country that Mexico will get their #### together.

It's really difficult for anyone to match Donald Trump's exact level of knowledge on this subject, but you have managed to do so. I'm suitably impressed.

As good a reason as any I can think of for my amount of enthusiasm about Mr. Trump's candidacy.

We're going to live like Kings under Trump. American infrastructure will be improved, jobs will be superfluous, Christianty will be King, our veterans will be taken care of, and America will begin to get out of it's extreme debt! We will all benefit.Socialism isn't the only way to make sure everyone can be taken care of. Expert capitalism on a global scale will work as well!

Donald Trump trashes former hedge-fund guy who jacked up drug price

"He looks like a spoiled brat to me. He's a hedge fund guy. I thought it was disgusting what he did," Trump told reporters in South Carolina.

"That guy is nothing. He's zero. He's nothing. He ought to be ashamed of himself," Trump said.

"And he's a hedge-fund guy, who, as you know — the only one that I'm raising taxes on. They are going to be paying up," Trump said Wednesday.

Trump is the first GOP candidate to make public remarks on the controversy.

Way ahead of the recycled losers. They can't touch the subject of raising taxes on the rich.

Why, he gives Em and people like Em legitimacy. The days are past when we can just ignore or mock white nerds who live in their parents basement, work part time at Walgreens, spout off racism and homophobia, and claim on the internet that they are God's gift to women and soon to be millionaires. Now we're forced to take them seriously. They are Trump's stormtroopers.

We can start with the billions of dollars in remittances aliens send back to their native land. Place a tax on it. Why not? Apparently we can tax every other ####### thing.

Oh snap.

It's comical that people are saying Trump is an "idiot" or not good at business. The guy is extremely wealthy, how else is he to be judged? Yeah he's pompous, and he may inflate his net worth, but even the most conservative estimates of his worth would add up to be more than those calling him an idiot will ever have. I actually love the confidence and arrogance. He has enough money to speak his mind and not worry about being politically correct or what anyone thinks. I don't agree with everything he says either, but there is a part of that speaking his mind that resonates with people. I have no idea if when the time to cast actual votes comes if people will truly go into the booth and vote for him. I have thought his numbers would drop for some time now and he's still holding on. I do know he's a man who has shrewdly played the media to his own advantage during all this. And at the end of the day, win or lose, he's still wealthy and been a success in business.

Unfortunately, world population has grown from 3 billion to almost 7.4 billion since 1960. The world is more competitive and companies want to pay everyone minimal wages or switch to robots. Your granddaddy sure had it good.

Your grandfather's generation ...our grandfathers' generation, were often immigrants themselves.

Damn right,, get em Trump ...Mother funders.

Trump is going to be on morning joe tomorrow at 6:30 and CNN tomorrow at 7.

Also, Trump is really turning the heat up on fox.

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 10h10 hours ago

.@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future.

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 1h1 hour ago

.@FoxNews owes me an apology for allowing clueless pundit @RichLowry to use such foul language on TV. Unheard of!

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 1h1 hour ago

Incompetent @RichLowry lost it tonight on @FoxNews. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!

If you have been paying attention to Fox at all you don't have to ask why Trump is reacting this way. They have been trying to kill Trump since the first debate and it hasn't come close to working. I love the fact he is fighting back against the media establishment, that is another + for him.

Disagree, he is coming off as someone not backing down, even against fox.

Trump's tweet, followed by Rich Lowry's responses:

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump Incompetent @RichLowry lost it tonight on @FoxNews. He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!
@RichLowry

@realDonaldTrump I thought the Carly cut your balls off line might bother you, but you know it's true...
‎@RichLowry

.@realDonaldTrump I love how Mr. Anti-PC now wants the FCC to fine me. #pathetic
‎@RichLowry

@realDonaldTrump so it's OK for you to insult Carly's looks, but you can't handle me describing what happened to you in the debate?
@RichLowry

@realDonaldTrump man, you can dish it out but you REALLY, REALLY can't take it

This is basically what the GOP has been saying about the debt for years now.

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/lowry-deserves-suspension-for-poor-taste-timing-of-trump-cut-his-balls-off-comment/

“She cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon!”

Yup…this is what passes for sound analysis on cable news these days. The aforementioned sentence is courtesy of Rich Lowry of National Review, who likely practiced that line in a mirror a few dozens times before attempting to make a funny on Fox News’ The Kelly File on Wednesday night while offering his take on Carly Fiorina’s debate performance against Donald Trump.
Lowry is a currently a Fox News contributor. He should also be a suspended one for going way over the line in a calculated moment that wasn’t something said in the heat of the moment or accidentally when misspeaking.

So what will happen next? Logic says a suspension at the very least. But since Trump is persona non-grata at FNC, maybe this passes as an eye for an eye.

And that’s just a whole bowl of wrong, because “cut his balls off” has no business on any cable news program regardless of whose body parts we’re talking about.
