We keep hearing from the mainstream media and their allies among the Republican Establishment about how racist, sexist and nativist supporters of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump are. The polls prove that talking point is nothing more than yet another fabricated race hoax.

Guess who benefits most if Trump exits the race?

But what would happen if the “current front-runner” aka Trump were out? The Fox poll asks voters their second choice candidate, which allows us to look at what happens to the race if someone were to get out. For instance, if Trump gets out, Carson takes the top spot (24 percent), followed by Rubio (12 percent), Fiorina (11 percent), Cruz (11 percent) and Bush (10 percent).

If Trump bails, two Hispanics and a black man pick up almost 50% of the billionaire businessman’s voters.

Moreover, if Trump bails, a woman, two Hispanics, and a black men earn 58% of total GOP support while the white guys wither and die.

The mainstream media are nothing more than a bunch of godforsaken, leftwing liars.

Actually, SIDA, I very rarely ever call people racist. I call statements racist, and that's an important distinction. A well meaning person can make a racist statement without really considering it or without thinking that it's racist; that doesn't make that person a racist by implication. Only if one deliberately will full knowledge makes racist statements or performs racist actions with consistency would I call one a racist. For instance, I consider Eminence, whether joking or not, to be a racist because he has made numerous comments demeaning African- Americans. That is pretty rare in this forum.

Now I consider Donald Trump's views on illegal immigration as racist for two reasons: first because he characterized most or all illegals as "from Mexico", and second because he characterized them as "rapists and murderers". Yes there were caveats, but that was the essence of his statement. I have read most of your thoughts about illegals, and while I obviously strongly disagree with you on the subject I don't find your arguments to be racist. See the difference?

In addition I found Trump's Birther comments from a couple of years ago to be implicitly racist because I don't believe Trump (or anyone else) would have spent so much time and effort on such nonsense if the President hadn't been a black man with an odd sounding name. So when I add this to Trump's statements about illegals and his checkered history in business concerning minority issues, I have no qualms concluding that Trump is probably a racist.

Exactly! We're gonna have more jobs than we need. That's why wages will go out. It's supply and demand. If you have less workers for the same amount of jobs, wages up.

Dominating in the polls would be irrelevant to the audience of conservatives activists he was speaking to. And he had been well received by the crowd earlier in the day, but most observers (except Luntz) felt the crowd here was booing Trump, for his characterization of Rubio.
