You realize he is talking about you, McGruff, Sho, Tim, Jr, etc don't you?

Even though you guys hate Trump you want this country to be great again. You will come around when faced with the reality of 4 years of Crooked Rape Whisperer or 4 years of MAGA.
So, what was your previous name here? Nice of you to basically call others losers.  Highs will be along shortly to not condemn you for this.

@Higgs - this is the post on Epstein/Trump.

- Personally I wouldn't let this dissuade you from voting for Trump, just as I don't think (like Tobias said in HillaryThread) the Fox report should dissuade anyone (by itself) from voting for Hillary, but this is interesting for comparison. For instance not nearly as many private plane trips [edit - actually it says Trump took one trip on the "jet"], no allegation of trips to the island, but they did have an association and Trump appears in Esptein's message book. [Edit - there is also a lawsuit vs Trump by one of the girls, which I'm not going to post here because it's unconfirmed, but it was just end of April 2016]. He also appears in Epstein's phone book, but in a section with John Kerry, Ehud Barak, David Rockefeller, and Alan Dershowitz.... who won his case against Virginia Roberts, so it's possible that Trump is in that same category of knowing Epstein truly socially but not knowing him in the sense that he got backstage passes.

There's stuff here for others maybe to argue contrarily. I will leave it to them.

- That could just as easily apply to Bill Clinton (if it does, Roberts says he did not avail himself of any services at least when she was there) and really more so given Bill's plane trips and given the fact that he actually deals in political power and influence, while it's not obvious to me what Epstein could get from Trump.
HFS.  Easily the most disturbing article I've ever read - and that's no exaggeration.  How the hell is this not the biggest news item this country has ever seen?  The answer to that question, and why Epstein only received 18 months for his horrific crimes (and no federal prosecution) shows just how many powerful people were involved in this mess.  A couple of observations:

  • It's pretty clear from this article that Trump did know Epstein as he was a member at Mar-a-Lago.  It's also clear, though, that Trump was not involved in any of the illicit activities. It's also clear that he cooperated fully with the investigation and appears to have been repulsed when he learned the full extent of Epstein's sex trafficking of underage girls.  I'm pretty comfortable that Trump is clean in all of this.
  • The article mentions the Saudi Prince as being involved.  Remember a few months ago when Trump had that Twitter war with the Prince and told him to "be careful - I've got dirt on you". Not a stretch to think this is exactly what Trump was referring to.
  • So many other powerful people potentially involved.  Prince Andrew?  Henry Kissinger? The latter doesn't surprise me one bit.  I've met Henry a few times, as has my wife...
  • Not much talk of Clinton in this article.  Why is that?
  • This is one of the most vomit inducing cover-ups I've ever seen.  So many young girls whose lives have been ruined by these pigs.  The public should demand a federal inquiry into the whole mess, including why there was never a federal prosecution.

- I do think it's interesting that the NYT did not bring it up with Trump, in terms of what attacks re: women could be said about him, and the NYT in its other article did not mention Epstein in terms of attacks Trump could use on Clinton. They didn't mention it with either candidate. Maybe they think such things are beneath them, OTOH maybe it did not fit the editorial narrative, I don't know.

- I am willing to give both Bill and Donald the benefit of the doubt (with Bill it's tougher IMO with all the trips on the plane...) but it's worth it to look at the claims nonetheless. - The main thing that I think is truly outrageous is that there is a prosecution agreement at all, that that is sealed, and the records are sealed. This is really similar to the DC Madame and New Orleans brothel cases in a few ways. Let the sun shine in.

Did you read the article?  Probably not.
Of course he didn't. Here is Trumps and the pedokings relationship.

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been accused of socializing with Epstein.

But sources at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida said the billionaire banned him from the premises years ago after he was seen hitting on a teenage girl."

Trump is classy and kicked pedo pimp out when he saw him acting inappropriately,

But but but Tim said this would never work? And tariffs stop free trade? Noon my worldview is shattered. Oh wait it is just the 18000th tariff we have in this country so I guess Trump was just right again. The best part is that since Trump is dictating change already. He hammers the opiod problem in the northeast congress hey lets fun this, trade with China bam tariff, Hillary started running on the economy is great 4 more years! then Trump killed it and not she is pretending to be the "jobs" candidate, Middle east is a mess, lets send troops back!

It is quite embarrassing that the Obama admin is trying to fix all the screw ups pointed out by Trump at the 11th hour in an effort to pretend they gave a #### while the place burned down.

FTR: Even though a lot of us are thinking about voting for Trump, it doesn't mean we don't enjoy these got'cha moments in his past. Many of us KNOW he is a total Bleep Hole but the disconnect here form the other side is that at this point many of us feel all the politicians are bleep holes and they seem to fear or not want trump and that makes even more folks flock to Trump.

Trump is a big middle finger to the establishment on both sides as well as a nice little bird at the Tea Party as well. People are just irate and those who are not irate cannot seem to wrap their head around the anger and outrage from those who are angered and outaged!

"MOP, why are you shouting!?"  I'm sorry.
We get it. That's been Trump's biggest draw to some since Day 1.  The difference is when I get a bad cold and my nose seems to run for days and it makes me irate, I don't consider cutting it off as a solution. The short-term triumph isn't worth the long-term suffering.

So Trump is taking credit for tariff #18,001?

Hey give credit where it's due. I think I recall Trump specifically mentioning steel, but correct me if I'm wrong about that.

US steel makers say that the Chinese government unfairly subsidises its steel exports.

Isn't that true with everything from China, I guess they're 'capitalist' now but I'd say it's really been national-socialist in that the state and private are totally melded, the state takes what it wants, invests what it wants, the apparatchiks make themselves owners, pay themselves what they want, screws with the costs, prices and wages, what isn't artificial about their market?

Also on the list are: ...Don Willett of Texas.

One of Donald Trump's top Supreme Court picks totally hates him

... Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett, who is unusually active on Twitter for someone in his position, has repeatedly mocked Trump's campaign.

It's unclear what Willett thinks about appearing on Trump's list. A Texas Supreme Court spokesman promised to pass along a Daily Dot reporter's contact information to him, but at press time he had not responded. He declined to comment to reporters at an event with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday, saying he was "exercising judicial restraint." ...

If this is a bad SWC rant ripoff, you forgot to add the "take it to the bank" section.

:lmao:

Trump is going on Hannity tonight.  Apparently he is not pulling any punches as he refers to B. Clinton as a rapist.

If Bill is not a rapist he has grounds for a Huuuuuge lawsuit, but  I kind of doubt old Bill follows this path.
He really doesn't.  He has to prove malice.  Which would require proving that Donald Trump actually knows something.  That's quite the mountain to scale.

Donald Trump’s Plan for America Includes Shutting Down the Media

Donald Trump’s candidacy is abnormal in so many ways — some of them hilarious — that important markers tend to slip past the public with little notice. One of those was a radio interview Trump’s longtime ally Roger Stone gave this weekend with Breitbart News Saturday. In the interview, Stone denounced CNN and warned, “When Donald Trump is president, he should turn off their FCC license.” The context for this threat is that Trump previously denounced coverage in the Washington Post, implicitly threatening to go after the paper’s owner on antitrust and tax issues as retribution for the Post’s coverage. Now Stone is making in a completely undisguised fashion the threat Trump made in a barely disguised fashion.

So, here we are. The Republican Party is running a presidential nominee who is threatening to punish independent news media. Richard Nixon used to rant about this sort of idea in private, but he never did it, and he certainly didn’t talk about it in public. Now it barely even registers. This is not normal. None of this is normal.

27m Rs

23m Ds

Is that normal?
2008 - 20m Rs, 35m Ds. Party with most primary votes won.

2000 - 19m Rs, 14m Ds. Party with most primary votes won.

1992 - 13m Rs, 18m Ds. Party with most primary votes won.

Amazing that for all of the supposed support for Bernie he only has 10m so far compared to nearly 18m for Hillary in 2008.  Also that Hillary has less so far (13m) than she did in 2008.

I would expect Trump supporters t denounce Trump and Stone's words here.  Since they are so big on free speech issues.

Thanks for doing the leg work!

“I would say it’ll be close to a dismantling of Dodd-Frank,” Mr. Trump said, according to the Reuters report. “Dodd-Frank is a very negative force, which has developed a very bad name.”
Am I to interpret think any other way than he is going to reduce regulation?

I get not liking the messenger, but the anti gay, anti abortion religeous whackos have had control of the R for far too long. There is a large segment of the population that is moderate R and this is the first chance in my lifetime that there has been a R that is for universal healthcare, super light on abortion and believe it of not does not have a repugnant discriminatory policy. You can say his policies are discriminatory to citizens of other countries but this is the only candidate that only has one special interest group, Americans.

Trump wants pro-life "originalists" and "constitutionalists" now.

What he was telling you before was just a suggestion.
