Not and have a functioning court system you can't.I can live with that.

I don't think you realize I just agreed with you, dummy. Not and have a functioning court system you can't.
I saw 6 women and 4 brown people in that video, there is no way those are Trump supporters.
So if Obama was involved in a lawsuit and the judge was part of the KKK Lawyers Association nobody would raise an eyebrow?La Raza lawyers association seems different than the gang? No?
Not nearly the same thing. The KKK is a hate group targeting Obama's race.So if Obama was involved in a lawsuit and the judge was part of the KKK Lawyers Association nobody would raise an eyebrow?
Because that is the same?So if Obama was involved in a lawsuit and the judge was part of the KKK Lawyers Association nobody would raise an eyebrow?
I also saw some Asians, young and old people and a blond with a huge rack. But I heard only racist bigot cis white male scum support trump?I saw 6 women and 4 brown people in that video, there is no way those are Trump supporters.
Best part is that the half the groups said that they did not get the money until last week, after the Washington Post report (including the $1 million from him). Press did its job of holding him accountable and he gets all offended.Just saw some of his press conference today.at Trump saying he wanted no credit for raising money and getting all pissy with the press.
He literally said "I raised" this money over and over again for weeks.
Very sleazy of them to do that. Very sleazy.Best part is that the half the groups said that they did not get the money until last week, after the Washington Post report (including the $1 million from him). Press did its job of holding him accountable and he gets all offended.
So they got the free money that Trump raised.....What they should be saying is Thank You and then shut the f**k up.Best part is that the half the groups said that they did not get the money until last week, after the Washington Post report (including the $1 million from him). It is annoying that trump was blowing himself for this for weeks but yesterday he claimed he didn't even want credit. Also messed up that it kind of looks like they wouldn't have gotten what he was saying without the press hounding him - which he of course then got butthurt about. I thought a conservative principle is being held accountable. So they got the free money that Trump raised.....What they should be saying is Thank You and then shut the f**k up.
Lol. That's not how judicial bias works. At all. That has nothing to do with what I posted.
I'm talking about the Judge and his work for La Raza. Trump's position on illegal immigration is very well known. If the judge is working with La Raza to award scholarships to illegal immigrants he's probably the worst choice to be ruling in a case involving Trump. There's at least the appearance of bias.
WASHINGTON — In 2001, Sonia Sotomayor, an appeals court judge, gave a speech declaring that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.”And the idea that this judge's ethnicity (whatever it is, and I have no idea, he could just as well have family history that is Italian or Spanish or Portuguese or Brazilian for all I know) somehow affects his ideology, his impartiality, and his fitness, and then his quality as an American, is really right out of McCarthyism.
How dare those vets voice their concerns. So they got the free money that Trump raised.....What they should be saying is Thank You and then shut the f**k up.
It's brilliant, when/if Trump loses the case he already floated the idea the judge was out to get him so it won't seem like sour grapes saying it after the fact.- Finally forgetting all that, it is so abundantly stupid for a party to a lawsuit top insult a judge publicly, it's hard to imagine something this egregious. No it does not merit recusal, and I'm typically thinking of every way a judge or politician should remove themselves from appearance of impropriety. A party cannot create a controversy out of whole cloth and then claim the judge is biased because of all the crazy attacks the party has leveled against the judge. It's obvious how such a practice would be abused.
WASHINGTON — In 2001, Sonia Sotomayor, an appeals court judge, gave a speech declaring that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.”
In her speech, Judge Sotomayor questioned the famous notion — often invoked by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her retired Supreme Courtcolleague, Sandra Day O’Connor — that a wise old man and a wise old woman would reach the same conclusion when deciding cases.
“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor, who is now considered to be near the top of President Obama’s list of potential Supreme Court nominees.

What concerns...that they didn't think they were getting the free money (that they were never going to get until Trump held a fundraiser) in a timely manner? How dare those vets voice their concerns.
They should be thankful to be his political pawn to score points.
They didn't think they were getting what the republicand candidate for president promised them for using them to duck a debate. What concerns...that they didn't think they were getting the free money (that they were never going to get until Trump held a fundraiser) in a timely manner?
I'm not sure if it was posted here already, but Volokh Conspiracy (which is a right-leaning blog) had a post the other day about how dangerous Trump's comments are to the rule of law and to the functioning of our legal system. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2016/05/29/on-donald-trump-and-the-rule-of-law/The 'Curiel is a secret Mexican' theme is to me disturbing. I haven't spoken up on the racism thing much because to me constitutional issues and our foreign policy commitments are even more important and often overlooked in Trump's candidacy but hey it's a deck of cards, pick one as to what bothers you most, we can deal from anywhere in the deck. I guess I'm surprised this has legs past 24 hours.
- La Raza Lawyers Association is not La Raza. It's just another lawyers group, black lawyers, Federalist Society, etc. Heck it's even less ideological than the Federalist Society if I'm not mistaken, you just need to be Hispanic and then you can be Alberto Gonzales or Miguel Estrada.
- If I'm not mistaken it's in CA. Curiel is from IN.
- Is he even still a member of it, sounds like he 'was' a member, as in past tense?
- The disturbing things: Trump shows a willingness or desire to "investigate" judges, he does not appear to believe in judicial independence. - And the idea that this judge's ethnicity (whatever it is, and I have no idea, he could just as well have family history that is Italian or Spanish or Portuguese or Brazilian for all I know) somehow affects his ideology, his impartiality, and his fitness, and then his quality as an American, is really right out of McCarthyism.

There are always like 5-6 different responses from Trumpites. Some defend Donald straight up, some say the reporting is a lie, etc. The 'hey its a cynical ploy' seems to be stock. It's brilliant, when/if Trump loses the case he already floated the idea the judge was out to get him so it won't seem like sour grapes saying it after the fact.
Sweet, maybe we will finally be able to communicate with that guy.
I agree that is the best part, he was attacked and he had already paid out half the money, millions of dollars and people tried to put him down down for being too slow with the rest of it. Just truly pathetic. Hey Don you only gave out 3.2 million whats the hold up thief? What a bunch of douchebags and people wonder why the press is hated.Best part is that the half the groups said that they did not get the money until last week, after the Washington Post report (including the $1 million from him). Press did its job of holding him accountable and he gets all offended.
Worked fine for Vaclav Havel and the Czechs.Look, I don't want someone who is cynically screwing with the system to be president.
So your rational is that he paid 3.2 million and was just going to keep the rest? Ok I guess there is a one in a billion chance that the billionaire was going to commit a felony on live national television for kicks but seriously how stupid does that sound to you?It is annoying that trump was blowing himself for this for weeks but yesterday he claimed he didn't even want credit. Also messed up that it kind of looks like they wouldn't have gotten what he was saying without the press hounding him - which he of course then got butthurt about. The thought of this guy in an actual crisis with things that matter is no bueno.
You mean the billionaire that is currently being sued for ripping people off?So your rational is that he paid 3.2 million and was just going to keep the rest? Ok I guess there is a one in a billion chance that the billionaire was going to commit a felony on live national television for kicks but seriously how stupid does that sound to you?
I never thought Trump was going to keep the money forever. I just thought he was going to lie about it to exploit veterans for as long as it was beneficial for him to do so.So your rational is that he paid 3.2 million and was just going to keep the rest? Ok I guess there is a one in a billion chance that the billionaire was going to commit a felony on live national television for kicks but seriously how stupid does that sound to you?
I'm guessing Havel would be pretty disgusted by being compared to a Putin fanboi like Donald.Worked fine for Vaclav Havel and the Czechs.
He wasn't attacked for being too slow. He was attacked for repeatedly lying that it had already been donated, when it hadn't.I agree that is the best part, he was attacked and he had already paid out half the money, millions of dollars and people tried to put him down down for being too slow with the rest of it. Just truly pathetic. Hey Don you only gave out 3.2 million whats the hold up thief? What a bunch of douchebags and people wonder why the press is hated.
Oh so you are equating people suing over the quality of a service civilly with committing a felony. By your insane rationale the guy who put my windows in wrong is a felon. Yeah you got It!You mean the billionaire that is currently being sued for ripping people off?
Yeah. One in a billion chance. lol.
He promised veterans...I don't recall him promising specific groups of veterans (I may be wrong)....If that is the case most probably didn't even know they were getting a donation until the donation was made to that specific group...By the way I'll criticize any group if they are acting like ingrates. They didn't think they were getting what the republicand candidate for president promised them for using them to duck a debate.
Its fine to complain about posters Jere criticizing him...but wtf, criticizing the vets who he promised the money to because they spoke up?
So again they were accusing him of felony grand larceny because he had only dispensed 3.2 million to date. Got it. Totally reasonable. He wasn't attacked for being too slow. He was attacked for repeatedly lying that it had already been donated, when it hadn't.
When I run a local golf tournament it can take weeks to collect all of the pledged donations...These clowns expect $5.6 million in pledged donations to be collected and distributed to 42 different groups virtually overnight -(when you are talking about that sum of money)So again they were accusing him of felony grand larceny because he had only dispensed 3.2 million to date. Got it. Totally reasonable.
Wow, bad call by cadillac. I would think that older white folks would be the key demographic for them and they spurn their customer base.Interesting that the PGA is pulling out of Trump's Doral (Miami) course, after not being able to find a sponsor to replace Cadillac. Sponsors are wary of the Trump and his rhetoric.. So, that tournament is moving to Mexico. Ironic. If he doesn't become president, his brand and his ego will suffer.
Right...The dozen or so times that I've been to Mexico, all I ever see are CadillacsWow, bad call by cadillac. I would think that older white folks would be the key demographic for them and they spurn their customer base.
..Trump's comment was, "I hope they have kidnapping insurance!"Interesting that the PGA is pulling out of Trump's Doral (Miami) course, after not being able to find a sponsor to replace Cadillac. Definitely something to consider... Once again Trump is spot on with his comments...that guy is a savant.Trump's comment was, "I hope they have kidnapping insurance!"
Well that is where the stolen ones end up.Right...The dozen or so times that I've been to Mexico, all I ever see are Cadillacs..
Trump's comment was, "I hope they have kidnapping insurance!"
### #### it! How can you not like Trump? They have no sense of humor and take their self and life too seriously.### #### it! How can you not like Trump?
Yeah, I doubt a company like Cadillac has employees whose entire job it is to figure these things out...Wow, bad call by cadillac. I would think that older white folks would be the key demographic for them and they spurn their customer base.
The funny thing is in November you guys will be flabbergasted that Trump lost because the only people that voted for him are white males.### #### it! How can you not like Trump?
Have you heard Obama? The funny thing is in November you guys will be flabbergasted that Trump lost because the only people that voted for him are white males.
You do realize he's running for President and not radio talk show host, yes?
Presidents don't talk like that.
Many times.Have you heard Obama?
