These are great!

Wow, USA Today did todays cover story on my record in lawsuits. Verdict: 450 wins, 38 losses. Isn't that what you want for your president?

Do you ever notice that @CNN gives me very little proper representation on my policies. Just watched-nobody knew anything about my foreign P
(does anyone know anything about his foreign P?)

After the litigation is disposed of and the case won, I have instructed my execs to open Trump U(?), so much interest in it! I will be pres.
He is literally insane.

I love that's what he took from that USA today article.

Like I said, he has the nerve to call someone else crooked...
This is one of Trump's greatest attributes.

He is a hideous looking dude and makes fun of people's appearances. He is crooked as hell but calls other people out on it. He straight up says things that aren't remotely accurate and just claims they are fact then moves on when presented the real numbers - people in here do a better job of making up stuff for his lies. The guy just moves on from the past, doesn't blink an eye. Never acknowledges his amazing #### ups.

At the same time he has the thinnest skin of any politician I can think of.

He has the same philosophy when it comes to policy, where he's also visceral and a mile-wide and an inch deep. By his own admission, he just needs to consult himself.

On foreign policy: "I know what I’m doing and I listen to a lot of people, I talk to a lot of people and at the appropriate time I’ll tell you who the people are... But my primary consultant is myself and I have a good instinct for this stuff."
  Sarah Palin thinks that is rough.

Text of Hillary's speech here.

http://time.com/4355797/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-foreign-policy-speech-transcript/?xid=tcoshare

This is basically old fashioned Scoop Jackson stuff and what strikes me is that Hillary - who IMO does well when she has a foil (which maybe she initially thought Sanders would be...) - has maybe found someone to bounce off of with Trump and seem normal. I can't quite explain the remarkable turn of events in which the GOP has managed to find the one candidate that will allow Hillary to speak passionately about ethics and defending America's commitment and virtue abroad but gosh they seem to have done the impossible.

Good speech textually, I didn't hear it so if the treble broke on your speaker well maybe I missed that.
:goodposting:

Paul Ryan just threw his political career in the trash.
Nobody can be shocked by this. Besides unintentional comedy the best thing to come out of this is watching these chumps back Donald.

Trump was 100% right in that regard, they are losers.

Probably posted already, story from March, pretty fantastic though...

I have seen many of these things parroted in here over and over again. I didn't know many of them were actually this incorrect.

"We chronicled 4.6 hours of stump speeches and press conferences, from a rally in Concord, N.C., on Monday to a rally on Friday in St. Louis. The result: more than five dozen statements deemed mischaracterizations, exaggerations, or simply false – the kind of stuff that would have been stripped from one of our stories, or made the whole thing worthy of the spike. It equates to roughly one misstatement every five minutes on average."

Politifact gave Trump their lie of the year award in 2015.  Normally they choose a single lie as the biggest whopper of the year, but Trump had so many and all their finalists were Trump anyway, so they just put it all under the umbrella of Donald Trump misstatements.

PolitiFact has been documenting Trump’s statements on our Truth-O-Meter, where we’ve rated 76 percent of them Mostly FalseFalse or Pants on Fire, out of 77 statements checked. No other politician has as many statements rated so far down on the dial.

In considering our annual Lie of the Year, we found our only real contenders were Trump’s -- his various statements also led our Readers’ Poll. But it was hard to single one out from the others. So we have rolled them into one big trophy.

Might wanna turn your tv on. "Protestors" outnumbering trump folk 6 to 1; getting pelted with garbage and getting their hats and signs stolen and set on fire.
Well that sucks. I've made the same point before that you did tonight- the anti-Trump people don't help themselves.

:partyofopendiscourse:

This story gets buried under Hillary's emails after a blurb on the late night news tonight. Trump is not going to get any freebies from the media. This also stinks of running scared and desperation.

This sums up my feelings on the protesters:

As night fell, and riot cops began to move in on the protesters, Martha Garcia, a student from San Jose, expressed disappointment in the violence.

“It’s sad to see San Jose representing like this. Trump is the one igniting the hate. You can’t fight fire with fire,” she said.

It's completely unacceptable but those doing these things are a small minority of anti-Trump protesters.
This "small minority" seems to turn up wherever Trump is holding a rally.  Go figure.  Meanwhile, no Trump supporters are running around causing trouble at HRC or Bernie rallies. Shows which candidates supporters respect free speech.

In any other election year, Donald Trump would have no chance. People don't even remember what life was like before Obama was president.

We have become weak. We have given leverage to a lot of people we haven't. But America has a very long track record. We don't take ####.

If anybody has been taking advantage of us, our identify, and our country. The gig is up.

Saying Trump supporters are igniting this is complete and utter BS...what is igniting this is a politically correct crowd that can not handle hearing things they don't agree with...since they can't have their "safe spaces" in the real world they now resort to violence...since it looks like the usual tactic of calling someone a bigot or hate-monger isn't working as well as they like they now resort to violence...you will hear the bare minimum of repudiation from the anti-Trump crowd because they do have to say something...yet much of it will come with the caveat that Trump ignited this...no one should be surprised by this...Alinsky always preached means to an end and whether it is Trump or someone else the only thing that matters is that they lose... the double-standard of nonsense like this borders on comical but it should not come as a surprise to anyone who follows politics...

Is there a coherent thought anywhere in this mishmash of words?

Signed,

Someone who remembers what life was like before Nixon was president.

Trump has promoted people hitting their opposition several times.  No need to "figure out" why his rallies and anti-rallies look way different.

Guessing you quoted the wrong post since that has nothing to do with what I posted. But to respond to your article/post, that's terrible and those people should be ashamed and arrested/charged for any crimes broken. (can't remember, what was the response of Trump supporters here when Trump fans were beating up protestors?)
How many times did that happen?  I remember the old guy sucker punching an unruly person being escorted from a rally and the African American guy.  I'm sure there were others but can't remember them right now.

Saying that protestors who throw crap or start fights suck is one of the few things Trump guy has to hang their hat on these days. Everything else he does sucks balls.

Can we get back to how he constantly lies, is a huge chicken, has very few stances that don't shift in the wind, and running a broke campaign?

Ha ok. That's fair and I'll take it under consideration, I have no idea how to hyperlink on the mobile if that's what you mean.
There was nothing particularly wrong with the link. Sometimes if it's a shorter one like that one I'll just post the link. If it's along one I'll paste the link in text to keep it short.

Hey, it's Larry King!   Good to see you on the ole World Wide Web, Larry.

It's terrible that some of the protestors resorted to violence. But once again, as he has done before, last night Donald Trump called for a judge to be removed solely because he is a "Mexican" (actually he is an American of Mexican descent). Such a statement is going to be deeply upsetting to Mexican American and Latino voters and they're going to regard it, correctly, as a statement of bigotry from the man who is now the leader of the Republican Party. And it's going to piss them off. What does anyone expect?

Still no excuse for these "protesters" to harass, throw bottles, spit and punch at the people attending the rally.   These people are thugs and should be thrown in jail.

To be fair, and I'm far from Pro Trump, the narrative when a likewise "small minority" of Trump supporters attacked protestors at his rally, it became a story for ten days, through two weekend news cycles and people called for Trump to apologize for the actions of a few loons.  The money moment being,a 78 year old guy punching a protestor.

These people are burning American flags in the street, they're accosting people on Camera and doing it wearing maskings and handkerchiefs.  Whatever invective that bozo has spewed, this is a pretty significant news story to me and CNN dumped out of it at the height to talk a 12 hour old story about what Trump said about a judge.

Its not even  making a dent in terms of being a news story today.

Or you entitled your post "The company that you keep" so he was showing the company of anti-Trump people.  That really wasn't that difficult to figure out.
Yeah, because miscellaneous protesters who presumably support another candidate are the same as a delegate approved by a candidate after full disclosure of his radical beliefs.

The anti-Trump supporters will make plenty of excuses though.  "Trump talks loud so I get to sucker punch people.".

I find it rather telling that the anti-Trump protestors are also burning the American flag.  They do not want America.  They do not want law and order.  They want a new country that has no rules.  Hillary does not abide by laws.  Why should her supporters?

Uh - those aren't really similar things. One is a legit protest. The other is assault.

I didn't say it was the same.  I said it was obvious what Avoiding Injuries was suggesting.
