Sorry, I thought this thread was for (sometimes) rational discussion. If that's not the case I'll bow out. Anything those 2 post is not exactly rational. Sorry if you disagree. There are some rational posters who agree with the Trump doctrine. Can't say I agree with them but at least they're somewhat rational. Dexter is off the deep end and anyone who has been here more than a week or 2 knows Jim1112131415 whatever is either a troll or way out of their depth.

 
I don't know how smart anybody could be to come into a Donald Trump support thread and start insulting his supporters and Donald Trump.

That shows a lot of intelligence and tolerance.

Fox Scream posted one night about a week ago in here and in the wagering thread that he was naughty in the Trump thread and he would see everyone in a month. 

Pretty sure it was Em. But I was lost because I didn't see anything "naughty" unless he went on a tirade and it was all deleted by the mods. 

My guess for Dexter is that dfsguy person. He disappeared rather abruptly, although that is not shocking even a little.

 
Marking this. GOP back rooms a Ryan run. Trump goes 3rd party. Gets 17%.

GOP felt had no choice or risk losing the Senate and maybe the house to straight tickets. That part works.

I've been saying this for 100+ pages and in every Trump thread. There is not one person, on either side, who is going to change their mind. Even though the snark, derogatory insinuations and insults can be quite compelling at times. 

I guess it's a form of entertainment, or if you live in your parents basement, a way to pass time.

I'm not sure they'll use Ryan.  Probably want to save him for a better opportunity.  I don't think Trump has the money to run 3rd party.  He won't get any donors and I don't think he's worth a fraction of what he says he is.  

 
Speaking of Team Trump, I believe Loan Sharks was going to attend the Phoenix rally last night and give us a 'completely objective' account of what he observed.  

Spoiler alert:  All Trump supporters were perfectly behaved while protesters were killing babies in ritual sacrifice.

I'm not sure what is going to happen but apparently the GOP still hasn't released the official slate of delegate names yet, which apparently is unusual.

What is really odd is that you have a nominee not supporting his party - Trump isn't campaigning for down ticket candidates or raising money for the party - and a party that isn't supporting its candidate. It's a pretty tenuous connection right now as it is.

Trump yesterday was claiming that Jeb is plotting against him, and he lashed out at Cruz, and he is now saying he may self fund again. 

If this was a married couple they'd be taking separate cars to social events and have their money in separate accounts.

Agreed -- they'll recycle Romney or similar IMO if they go this route, and I think there's a decent chance that they do. It won't have anything to do with trying to win the Presidency, either.

Ryan is the only one they could force at this point.

I think Trump wants to win. It's just that he doesn't know any way to do so other then the way he got here. 

Trump is like one of those spread offense teams, like the Oregon Ducks in college football. They score a million points against everyone in their own conference and nobody can figure them out. Then they get into the final against a physical powerhouse like Ohio State or Alabama and they're toast. It's not like they can suddenly change their style; they have to keep trying what got them there; but it won't work anymore. 

 
Trump is just fine. He is the nominee and if anything I would be worried if I were a Democrat that he hasn't done anything and yet, he is neck and neck with your candidate

The Lefties were all excited earlier this week when a poll showed Clinton +12, but guess what the next day it went to Clinton +7 and then the next day two polls showed Clinton +9 and +5 and now the poll Friday showed Clinton +2.

If you want to argue that he doesn't have the organization and ground game Clinton has, then you would have a point, but he is still pulling in large crowds and the GOP will galvanize behind him at the convention and it is just a matter of time until the Clinton attacks ads appear.
