- The Andy Jackson comparisons have got to stop. This is some pseudo-intellectual bs. Maybe early on that was reasonable - because you know, the list of US populist presidents is really, really short and it might begin and end with Jax - BUT since then it has become impossible to maintain. Trump isn't fit to hold Jackson's petard (old fashioned jock). Jackson was a national hero, basically the Ike Eisenhower of his time and he was an expert in a lot of things. trump has said some really dangerous stuff lately.  Like, threaten the stability of the entire world and democracy itself.  This is right up there.

Is Trump insinuating that someone should shoot his political opponent?  Is he advocating someone assassinate the sitting president?  Is he claiming that citizens should take up arms against the Federal Government?  This is the type of political statement that can get someone killed.  You guys remember how the left got so gun-grabby after Gabby Giffords was shot, with Palin publishing some pictures with Giffords in the crosshairs?  This is much worse.

I'd like to hear Trump's explanation for exactly what he says could maybe be done "through the second amendment."
