This a good news for some.  Trump now has his own polls to along with steaks, vodka, and diploma mills: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/aug/15/inside-the-beltway-trump-polls-the-nominee-launche/

“All too often I’m asked about a ‘poll’ put out by a liberal organization that says the American people disagree with our common-sense reforms to fix our country,” Mr. Trump noted in the poll introduction. “The next time I’m being interviewed, I will have my own poll that shows that the American people disagree with the dishonest media.”
This is genius. Anytime someone disagrees with me, I'm just going to only poll people I know that agree with my ideas. Wonder why it took so long for someone else to think of this.

This is fantastic.

I seriously believe if he actually got in the WH Trump would consider creating a state run media arm to put the 'official' version of the 'news' out.

At the beginning of this thread i thought Trump was getting a bad rap but was essentially a hardworking business mastermind who puts america first and was so gracious to the US for his success that he wanted to led this country into an even brighter future. However after reading about all the asinine and incredibly idiotic statements, after re-reading them multiple time just to make sure if it was not being misconstrued I realized that Trump is essentially a fake, and might have serious mental health issues.
I was never a Trump supporter but I kept an open mind to his campaign early on. I think he could have been in a good position right now, even with his past business failings, if he ever had a clear message and stayed on topic instead of making all these crazy statements and accusations. He lost me at the first Republican debate and it's been downhill ever since. He started with a good, anti-establishment, big change is needed message but was never the right messenger.

The whole Obama is a Kenyan thing wasn't a bit of a red flag

Ahh yes, "The Emperor's New Poll", one of my favorite stories as a kid.

First Trump Poll results are in:

Who will you vote for in November?

Trump = Many People

Clinton = Very few, low energy people

Mama June = One Guy in Alabama

I understand the mechanics of it, I'm just questioning the logic.  People were riffing on Trump supporters there - why would our GB his eminence think this new thread would be any different?

Now, we have to click back and forth to read all of the Trumpfan jokes...ugh.
I'm going to let you in on a little known secret.  Eminence likes attention.  Surprising, but true.

For a guy who would hire all the right people and make good decisions, has he made a single good decision or put any person in place who was the right person yet?

Does anyone else get great joy from watching Trump crash and burn like I do?
Me! I'm a registered Dem and have voted Dem in all 3 elections I've been able to vote in so far. When Bush won in 04, I was disappointed, but it wasn't that big of a deal. If Romney would have won in 12, I would have been disappointed, but would have been fine. If Trump wins this election, I'm actually scared about what crazy stuff he could get us into.

That link is something else.

Is that fake?

I'll reserve judgement on the polling stuff for now. I mean, sure, for your typical politician in the post-Rove era, "I'm going to start my own polling firm!" is code for "I'm going to make up numbers and hope the rubes believe them!", but Trump is not a typical politician. He might actually believe his own bull#### about all the other polls being rigged, and make an honest effort to do fair and unbiased surveys, expecting the true results to be in his favor. Which would mean we all get the comic relief of seeing poll after poll demonstrating how unpopular Trump is, put forward by none other than the Trump Polling Institute themselves.

my money is on, "my polls are totally dishonest.  sad!"

Doesn't that defeat the point of polling? You don't commission a poll in order to confirm what you already want to believe, polls exist to tell you what the public believes.

The poll was sent out by email. Meaning it was sent out to people he has email addresses for. His supporters.

So, he has not been doing any internal polls up to now?

He's never doing any polls. This is all just more bs from him. It's hillarious he would even present this though.

It's as if he has comedy writers from The Daily Show embedded as double agents in his inner circle.
