By the way telling people the election is fixed and asking them to show up for you are at odds with each other. If you already know the result there's no point to showing up.
It could be meant in the sense of having a stronger general turnout to counteract abuses in specific districts/states (sometimes districts can swing states, just as states can the national election - do it in enough states... or so the thought process, such as it is, may be). Allegedly in the JFK election, they got a big dead voter turnout from Chicago.

How exactly did anyone #### on the constitution?
You are unaware of Merrick Garland?  That's too bad.

Basically, whenever a SC justice passes away, the president nominates their successors.  The Senate is consitutionally obligated to hold hearings for the nominee.

For the fist time in history, this will not happen.

The last 8 years, the GOP's only plan has been NO to anything Obama says, no matter what it might be.  Maybe that's why they are in such a good place now.

Donald Trump is a denial-of-service attack on the U.S. political system. His campaign is a flood of nonsense, preventing legitimate actions.

The Senate is most certainly not constitutionally required to hold hearings for judicial appointments.

Interesting.  How exactly do judges get confirmed then?
It's all in the constitution.   What's not there is a requirement that they have a vote on any particular nominee.  Plenty of them have been filibustered through the years, including noted constitutional scholar Barry Obama trying to filibuster Sam Alito.

The hypocrisy is just so delicious.
Like the menu at Mar-a-Lago.

It's gonna be like the Gary Johnson Aleppo thing.  Being able to focus on Johnson whiffing when the question was about Aleppo instead of Syria is disqualifying.  But make a wide range of nonsense gibberish than demonstrate zero ability of how foreign policy works and counter it is like punching smoke.

Who's filibustering Garland?

Unless Hillary can get massive turnout from minorities, the young educated, and college degreed women, I think you're right.

It's weird that the least educated, least productive members of our society will be deciding the presidency.
Isn't that how it always is?

No matter what your political persuasion or who you are voting for, give it a rest for a day. Respect tomorrow. I'd hope we can all agree on that.

I won't be thinking about politics tomorrow because I'm watching 9 hours of football and I'll be piss drunk.
I won't be worrying about politics tomorrow either, But tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of 9/11. It's bigger than football or being piss drunk. It might be why I'm getting piss drunk now...

"Momma, why is daddy so drunk tonight and throwing up on himself?"

"You see, honey, these bad men blew up some buildings and now daddy has to do extra drinking in memorial of it."

Not sure but you appear to be making an ### of yourself. Just quoting this to be sure in the morning. As of now I'd say it's certain.

Ooof, Hillary is regretting "basket of deplorable" line

Trump officially flipped the script on Hillary, she is the insulting candidate now and Trump is the one acting Presidential
Half the country ailgns themselves with a candidate who champions white nationalism and advances ideology shared with people like David Duke, the other half thinks it's deplorable.

Trump isn't a white nationalist, he is nationalist that wants to put all Americans first, color doesn't matter. Hillary champions for black lives matter, and they kill cops.

"Last night I was 'grossly generalistic,' and that's never a good idea. I regret saying 'half' -- that was wrong,"
-Hillary Clinton

Too late Hillary, now all of USA knows you hate A LOT of normal every day Americans.

You guys constantly confuse patriotism and nationalism, two totally different things. Name another nationalist who wasn't a conservative and see where that gets you. Feel free to use a black nationalist like Huey Newton if that helps. The nationalists who happen to be white aren't any better.

Almost afraid to ask in the HRC thread but I am reading a lot about HRC's health, is this for real or are people making stuff up? They both are either 70 yrs old or closing in on it fast. I can't imagine trump is in that much better shape, he is pretty fat let's be honest, he isn't thin or what you typically see of guys who make it say to their 80s.

They both look overweight and for folks approaching 70, that's not good. Obama was thin like Old Hickory, Bush wasn't fat, Billy ate a lot of McD's, he was about 20 lbs over when he served, Bush Sr was always thin, Reagan was fit or on the thinner side, Carter same...

What happened to the Presidential Fitness thing from when I was a kid that nobody ever achieved?
