Because while Trump is a miserable *******, YOU are the people who have handed him the bullhorn. YOU are the people willing to embarrass this nation and put it on the brink of economic ruin all because you wanna throw an electoral hissy fit. YOU are the people who want to revolutionize the way America does business by voting for its worst businessman, a disgusting neon pig who only makes money when he causes problems for other people instead of solving them. YOU are the thin-skinned yokels who clutch your bandoliers whenever someone hurls the mildest of slurs at you (“deplorables”), while cheering Trump on as he leaves a bonfire of truly hateful invective everywhere he goes. YOU are the people willing to overlook the fact that Trump is an unqualified, ignorant sociopath because DURRRR HILLARY IS BAD TOO DURRRR.
You know what? No, she’s not. She’s fine. I lived through one Clinton, and I can live through another. My reasons for hating Trump are better than your reasons for hating Hillary. Show me all the arguments against her you like. You guys don’t give a #### about facts and research when it comes to Trump, so I’m not gonna give a #### about whatever clumsy meme you cook up to explain why she did Benghazi. Nope. Sorry. #### your arguments, and #### you. Trump has shown no respect for anyone, so I don’t see why you deserve any either. Whatever mildly frustrating centrist liberal bureaucracy that Hillary presides over will be fine compared to the spray tan mushroom cloud that would arise all because YOU thought Trump was such a brave, un-PC ######## to everyone within shouting distance.
Trump is human waste. He is the worst of America stuffed into a nacho cheese casing, and he is emblematic of the kind of arrogant, flag-waving, trashy, racist moron that the rest of us have to DRAG kicking and screaming into the 21st century: Cliven Bundy, Sean Hannity, Kim Davis, and on and on and on
He brings up a couple of good points in here.

FOX AND FRIENDS: will you explain what that is to my folks down in South Carolina that don’t really deal with stop and frisk? What exactly is it and what are the pros and cons?

TRUMP: Well, there are different levels. and you have somebody coming up who is the expert on it but basically they will—if they see, you know, they are proactive and if they see a person possibly with a gun or they think may have a gun, they will see the person and they will look and they will take the gun away. They will stop, they will frisk, and they will take the gun away and they won’t have anything to shoot with. I mean, how it’s not being used in Chicago is—to be honest with you, it’s a quite unbelievable, and you know the police, the local police, they know who has a gun, who shouldn’t be having a gun. They understand that.

wink wink. That last sentence is amazing. Apparently the bill of rights is only for white people. Like the forefathers intended. Little something here for the 2nd amendment guys and the illegal search and seizure folks.

How much this guy has said he is willing to defy the constitution this election is amazing. The fact he has a chance to win is gobsmacking.

Every time I see a house with Trump/Pence yards signs (there's never just 1) there's almost always about a dozen American flags around the house and yard as well.  I just have chuckle and shake my head.

Can you imagine a black person trying to get a job or a bank loan from a person like this? And then she acts mystified why they haven't become solid middle class citizens after not even being able to use public accommodations two generations ago. The arrogance is staggering. I'm not sure if its denial or ignorance. Throw in the (in)justice system into that mix also.

You'd think the NRA would be flipping out about this.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton said she was "very troubled" by a police shooting.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton said that some police "always make a mistake".

Imagine if Hillary Clinton said that the shooting victim "had his hands up" and "did everything you're supposed to do".

Imagine if Hillary Clinton speculated that a police officer panicked and "choked".

You think all the police unions would endorse her after she said all those things?
You'd think Republicans would be flipping out about this.

Apparently he's not talking about the good guys with guns.

"Miller added: 'I don’t think there was any racism until Obama got elected. We never had problems like this ... Now, with the people with the guns, and shooting up neighborhoods, and not being responsible citizens, that’s a big change, and I think that’s the philosophy that Obama has perpetuated on America.'"

So racism started in 2008. That is a wild world this lady lives in.

I've seen Trump signs at only one house and the scene is exactly as you describe it.

Interviewer was having a hard time keeping it together.

"I'm in the real estate industry and there was none (racism)"

HUD Study

In a comprehensive study by the HUD in 2000, paired-tests (in which two applicants of different races but the same economic status and credit scores apply to rent or buy a house) were used to determine whether or not statistics about segregation truly pointed to housing discrimination. This study reported that although adverse treatment of racial and ethnic minorities has decreased over time, roughly 25 percent of white applicants were still favored above those who were African-American or Hispanic. About 17 percent of African American applicants and 20 percent of Hispanic applicants were subjected to adverse treatment, including receiving less information about a home or being shown fewer, lower-quality units.[34]

So the "We're going to build a wall and Mexico will pay for it" bs is just a large scale extension of his using other people's money via his "charity" to pay for his portraits, lawsuits, and other stuff. Right?

Oof. He is really bad at talking about things. That explanation sounds like a little kid.

So tims real name is drew....
Not very nice of you to say. It's a funny article, and I can empathize with it, but personally I have no hatred in my heart for  nearly anyone. I firmly believe that the vast majority of Trump supporters are good people who are afraid and misguided.

"The support from the KKK is up, support from ###holes is up, we're up across the board!"
Actually Trump has very little support from the members of Congress and the Senate, not sure where you're getting your information from son. You think that you can front when Revolution comes? (Yeah, you can't front on that)

That quote is a great example of Trump starting to say stuff and having no idea where it will go. Often it goes to a really odd/offensive/wrong place that he wasn't intending because he's a horrible person and an idiot, so his instincts consistently betray him. It's not like he reads anything or reflects on these issues in his spare time, like a serious candidate might do. Then because he refuses to ever apologize or admit he was wrong, it becomes a hill he's willing to die on, regardless of how absurd it is or what the collateral damage might be.
Running blindfolded through a field of crazy mines just to see what blows up.

He's talking about literally taking people's guns away - stopping people on the street and taking their guns. I'm sure the outrage will be coming soon, right?
It's okay, guys. He only wants to take guns away from the people that the police "know" shouldn't have guns.

(Disclaimer "shouldn't" is not a legal term and does not mean the same as "prohibited by law").

With a new batch of Panic! At The Disco tour dates announced today, I am reminded of these Panic lyrics that I'm sure are engraved on a wall at the Trump campaign HQ:

"Oh we gotta turn up the crazy

Living like a washed up celebrity

Shooting fireworks like it's the Fourth of July

Until we feel alright"

Even better that is from a song called "Victorious".

(I might have attributed those lyrics to Melania Trump in a meme distributed on social media in the aftermath of Melania's plagiarized speech.)

Speechless.
"stop and frisk" is like "papers please" on steroids. Advocating the government be in charge of determining who should and shouldn't have a gun based on profiling. What a loon. Has he attempted to "explain himself" on what he really meant yet?

The dumb media couldn't telepathically discern he was being sarcastic.

The Trump campaign has paid more than $8.2 million to his family’s businesses over the course of the real estate tycoon’s presidential run. A Politico deep dive into Trump’s campaign finance filings found “an integrated business and political operation without precedent in national politics.”

Here’s a taste of what’s coming out of the Trump campaign coffers and heading directly for the Trump Organization:

– Rent for Trump campaign offices located within Trump buildings: $1.3 million

– Food from Trump-owned restaurants and rent for Trump-owned facilities for events and meetings: $544,000

– Payroll for Trump corporate staffers who are assisting the campaign effort: $333,000

All told, the Republican presidential nominee has spent around 7 percent of his total campaign expenditures on services provided by his own businesses, “an unprecedented amount of self-dealing in federal politics.”

Nope, nothing to see here. Nothing at all.

This is obviously incredible and ridiculous and yet not at all surprising. But you know what's gonna be the most profitable thing to come out of this campaign by a mile? When he sells his donor list after the election.

This is a list of hundreds of thousands (millions?) of people who have willingly handed over their hard-earned money to finance a campaign of a man who claims to be worth literally fifty times as much as his campaign has spent thus far. They have done so despite tens of millions of Americans, including the press, essentially yelling "THIS IS A SCAM" and pointing at Trump in their face.

Those are the ####ing Glengarry leads right there.  Every snake oil salesman and pyramid schemer in the country is going to be lined up around the block for those names.

None of this is illegal.  Doesn't mean it is ethical or that people shouldn't be upset about it.  Just wanted to point that out before a Trump supporter comes along and asks what law he broke doing this.

It does speak to his character, though.  It's like Trump figured out a legal way to pull the Trump Foundation scam.  And again, for many Trump supporters, this is a feature, not a bug.

Trump said he would be the first person to run for President and make money off it, so it's pretty clear he had this scam in mind way ahead of time.  They jacked up the rent at Trump Tower precisely when the big donor money came in.

We shouldn't be surprised.  He's a con man, has been a con man his entire adult life, and this is what con men do.

Never thought about that before but that list is going to be a gold mine for scammers.

It's a reminder that Trump isn't dumb.  He's smart.  He's not smart on the level most of our Presidents have been, and he's not informed on the stuff we want Presidents to know a lot of stuff about, but he's not dumb.

And every dime he makes from this scam is a dime more than he likely pays in taxes every year, while hard working Americans struggle to pay theirs.  Surely this is the man to guide us to a better America!  :loco:

Do we know which entity loaned the campaign the fifty mill and then forgave the loan? Because donating fifty to get 8 back does not seem like a very good return on investment.

Now, if the entity making the loan can deduct "the loss" in taxes then it's a great scam (assuming taxes are actually due)

I wonder about up charging though. I'm guessing some 25 dollar waters or some equivalent are mixed in with all these charges.

I think the payback will end up being much larger than $50 million when it's all said and done.

But it sure would be interesting if Trump was somehow able to use Foundation funds to pay for the loan.
