A$$ kicking!!You're confused, guy. Losing the White House in a landslide and an a$$-kicking down ticket is what will happen with Trump.
I've posted already this morning in a number of threads, but if this is where the Trump supporters are posting (and you count me as a "know-it-all hater"), I'll post here too.Where are then haters? Nowhere to be found. Isn't it great when the know-it-alls realize they don't know everything?
That the person they belittled for over a year was right the whole time? Astonishing.
You'll be alright man, Trump wants to make America rich again and bring jobs back from overseas.I've posted already this morning in a number of threads, but if this is where the Trump supporters are posting (and you count me as a "know-it-all hater"), I'll post here too.
I am thoroughly depressed and worried about my own future and the future of my family, but I am not hopeless. I guess in one sense I'm one of you now. Like you, I don't think our country is very great right now. And like you I want to work to make it great again. I have my own ideas of how to make that happen, but you've earned the right to have your ideas heard and given significant weight. If you share them with me and other people like me, and those ideas are within the bounds of the Constitution and basic civility and human decency, I'm happy to listen.
Unemployment is at 4.9% (which is very very good)You'll be alright man, Trump wants to make America rich again and bring jobs back from overseas.
Immigration is a big problem, he will fix that. ISIS is a big problem, he will fix that. Unemployment is a big problem, he will fix that. Current trade deals are awful, he will fix that. Obamacare, repealed. Iran deal, ripped up.
Your taxes? Lowered. Muslim refugee program? Halted. Our infrastructure? Rebuilt. Our inner cities? Will be healed.
Reset part 2?Putin on Trump victory: Russia is ready to restore relations with the United States.

More people in the country voted for the other person so not sure about your comments here as a whole.Where are then haters? Nowhere to be found. Isn't it great when the know-it-alls realize they don't know everything?

but a lot not so much. Hitting that long shot always feels that much better. Yuge day for Trumpettes I'll be over here day drinking.Democrats should suck it up and work within reason with their colleagues. Show how it's done. People on both sides who work and compromise should be acknowledged and celebrated on both sides.Sophie's Choice election...I think Trump will need to prove himself, even to his voters. Even with R control of all of the branches, he won't have carte Blanche
One thing that will restrict him is the need to address healthcare, which is in serious trouble. I don't know that there is a great or even good solution to address an aging population and rising costs...this could consume a lot of political capital
I'm here. I was clearly wrong about the results of this election. Congrats to the Trump supporters, and I hope I am wrong about him, or at least that Ryan and Congress can hold him in check, particularly on the economy and trade. I genuinely hope that no one in here will get to say "I told you so" after we see what happens when the largest economy in the world dials up some Industrial Revolution style trade wars and protectionism.CdL conspicuously absent today.
Too late traitor.https://mobile.twitter.com/JohnKasich

The American people have spoken and it’s time to come together. Congratulations President-elect @realDonaldTrump.Nov 9, 2016, 8:56 AMhttps://mobile.twitter.com/JohnKasich/status/796365976283545601
Great move. Rates are going to move up faster than people think. LOCK IT IN.I think I'm going to get off my lazy ### and refinance today. You gotta think interest rates are going to rise.
Actually, immigration isn't a big problem. And it isn't really a small problem, either. I'm not sure how much a problem ISIS is compared to nation-states with infrastructure. Unemployment is at an all-time low, right? You'll be alright man, Trump wants to make America rich again and bring jobs back from overseas.

Like I told my kids this morning, rarely in life are things as bad as they seem or as good as they seem, it's best to let things run their course before coming to a conclusion and if it's not what you like, you have the opportunity to change it.Not great. I'm as sad as I've been in a long time. But thanks for asking. I hope your inquiry was genuine and not because you take joy in my unhappiness.
Time to get to work. Trump's win will affect me and my family personally in some very real and frightening ways, but I'm lucky in that most of those will hopefully be fairly minor. There are other people in other communities who are going to feel this loss in far more significant ways. It's gonna take me some time to adjust to this new reality, but after that I'm gonna find a way to volunteer my time to help those people, and fulfill our president-elect's mission to Make America Great Again. I used to think it was already pretty great, and maybe I was wrong. But we've dealt with worse and come out OK. I like to think we we can deal with this too.

I'm glad the cycle is over. I hope Trump delivers on his economic promises and is humbled by the gift Americans have given him and the power they have entrusted him with.![]()
Thanks man. That's what I'm trying to tell myself too. Appreciate our (mostly) respectful exchanges throughout this mess.
You will hear it from me regardless who's in charge. It's a BS number.Unemployment is at 4.9% (which is very very good)
And you can bet in 6 months we won't be hearing about how that's a BS figure anymore![]()

Either way, this is what happens in a democracy, and Trump won very clearly. He is our next President, and I wish him luck and hope for the best.
When you lose power, the best way to get it back is try and #### up everything while the other party is in power. That is why I hate both parties.Democrats should suck it up and work within reason with their colleagues. Show how it's done. People on both sides who work and compromise should be acknowledged and celebrated on both sides.
But yeah that's not happening.
I'd love to hear your explanation as to why, and at what point did it become a BS number? You will hear it from me regardless who's in charge. It's a BS number.
Don't know. What I do know is people out of work is more like12% to 15%. No link now.I'd love to hear your explanation as to why, and at what point did it become a BS number?
excuse me, what I think I know.Don't know. What I do know is people out of work is more like12% to 15%. No link now.
I am referring to a very specific group of supporters that embraced and twisted certain things. Why would the "crazy people" feel entitled after losing the election?
I don't care what number they use. All I know is that when Obama had the unemployment rate at half of what it was when he took office, his haters decided to change the metric and start using this new rate they liked better. Well that's fine. But that's also the number that will be used once Trump takes over.Don't know. What I do know is people out of work is more like12% to 15%. No link now.
I'm not sure this is quite right. The GOP is still as fractious as ever. Trump didn't build a new a movement. In an election with the lowest voter turnout since 2000 enough typical R voters held their nose and came out and enough D voters didn't. Right now he's about 600K off from Romney's vote total in 2012 (at least as of the last count I saw). Clinton is about 6.5 million off Obama's vote total from 2012.At least we know what the GOP is now. No more wondering if it's Rand Paul with his libertarian leanings, or if it's Ted Cruz with his "Christian" message, it's not a sensible John Kasich type party, or the Jack Kemp version as Paul Ryan fancies himself. The GOP is Donald Trump. He's the one who riled up the base, got them motivated to vote and actually won.
To me it's disgusting beyond words, but at least there's no more ambiguity.
You know what really sucks right now...
Realizing that the liberal Mods deleted and banned so many of my Trump threads and posts that I can't even go back and gloat about all the things I got right.
Sad.
Not so much. If you want to know what the GOP is, look at the primaries. Fractured as hell. Just enough rallied behind Trump because of Hillary and the Democrats attitude and direction, not because they think he is the man.At least we know what the GOP is now. No more wondering if it's Rand Paul with his libertarian leanings, or if it's Ted Cruz with his "Christian" message, it's not a sensible John Kasich type party, or the Jack Kemp version as Paul Ryan fancies himself. Historical Dems got Trump elected, not the GOP base.At least we know what the GOP is now.
