Trump is going to pawn off all the work to whoever he picks. Hopefully he doesn't surround himself with a bunch of Breitbart lunatics.
Which brings up the NEXT reason for an uproar....

What is going to happen when (if) Trump fills his Cabinet with nothing but old, white guys?

Are the Dems going to PLOTZ if he appoints Trey Gowdy as AG?

Trump sticking with his plan to deport or jail. He said 2 to 3 million illegals are out come January. He says it will be drug dealers and gang bangers. Not sure what the logistics on this are, but removing drug dealers/gang members is good. I'm very curious to see the details.

My fear is who is advising him. I would hope we are past that point, but I thought the same about racism, sexism, etc.
Yeah the dude waving a rainbow flag at a rally in Colorado is going to come take away your marriage and your child.

For a party of "don't give into our fears" they sure the hell have been selling that bs.

Rohn Jambo:

Can someone summarize all the horrible things Trump said which scared so many people that they are crying non-stop?

Trump said "I'd like to hear his wife say something." This seemed pro-women to me but it was taken as a huge insult to the Muslim community and people who served the military.
Trump didn't just say "I'd like to hear his wife say something", he said "She probably maybe wasn't allowed to have anything to say". And that's not a particularly horrible thing for Trump to claim, but it just fits right in with how Trump buys into racial and ethnic stereotypes and uses them to judge people. He assumed that she wasn't allowed to speak because he was stereotyping her. Just like he assumed that a judge with a Hispanic last name is Mexican; just like he assumed that a Mexican judge would automatically be biased against his immigration plan; just like he assumed that most Mexican immigrants were rapists or murderers; just like he assumed that Hispanics would vote for him because he ate a taco bowl; just like he assumed that Jews were good negotiators; just like he assumed that a black person at one of his rallies was a protester.

If Trump did all those things as a Democrat, he'd be hammered for his failure to be colorblind.

I fell that the Department of Education should be gutted and the education of our youth be left to the states with a voucher system implemented.

The ONE thing that the Federal Govt. should insist on is that every state implement a comprehensive education on the US Constitution starting in the 6th grade (middle school) and continue classes in this subject thru the 12th grade culminating in an extensive exam in this subject that must be passed in order to graduate.

As it stands now, legal immigrants know a lot more about the US Constitution than citizens who were born here and I think that this ignorance of this document that has lead us to where we are now.....for example...believing that the 1st Amendment allows people to riot in the streets, destroying personal property and that the 2nd Amendment exists in order to allow people to hunt..

let me translate this post "i dont have a legit answer but the media brainwashed me into not liking him"
You a big fan of total ###### politicians running on the moral high ground who in their private lives are sleazeballs?

He's hung around for 20 years rambling non stop, he's rarely right on anything IMO.

He was also not a fan of the Breitbart #### that you seem to love, criticized Donald publically for it on a couple of occasions, so maybe you don't care for him either.

you were asked a straight forward question and you can't give an answer because you're uninformed. You have these feelings about the person because you were brainwashed, but you can't put these feelings into words that makes logical sense. Scary.

I don't know about that.  Trump is going to have to have a "splash of color" in his Cabinet.
Lots of ways to go about that. I don't think Carson is even that bad a guy, I just don't think he has the domain knowledge or ability to put it together to be helpful to a Trump administration. Trump won't put up with people who aren't getting him where he wants to be being in advisory/decision making roles, just look at his campaign. Keep shuffling the deck until you get the cards you like.

Can't argue with that.

"Drain the swamp" might be Trump's "Mission Accomplished" or "Read my lips". The head of the RNC as Chief of Staff doesn't scream cleaning house.

Trump was running a tough race against Hillary so he had to make quick decisions on his assets.  You watched The Apprentice.  He knows when to fire someone.

I dunno, the guy stuck with him while the rest of the establishment rats were (sort of) jumping ship. He did basically choose Trump over the establishment.

I didn't watch the Apprentice, but I am counting on his ability to fire people who don't perform to his expectations. He's got a long history of that. My only concern there is whether his expectations are good and/or realistic.

Trump might be thinking of a rule in the Quran that a woman's testimony is acceptable only if it is made in the presence of a man and one other woman.  This is so that they can remind her if she makes a mistake.     However, I can see Americans not familiar with Muslim believes would think this is an insult.

Newt Gingrich sucks because:

- he preached family values while cheating on multiple wives
- he dodged the draft and then sends kids to die in war like it's no big deal
- he shut down the government out of spite
- he forced Democrat Jim Wright to resign over ethics charges (for funneling book profits to his campaign), only to find out that Gingrich himself had been using a similar scheme
- he was caught engaging in check kiting, passing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bad checks
- he was formally disciplined for ethics violations (the only Speaker who was ever busted)
- he believes that anyone who points their internet browser at an ISIS website should be arrested and convicted of a felony

I just said his act during Clinton's impeachment was total horse####. Love the guy up in everyone else's #### is divorced 4 times and drops the papers on the wife with cancer. He lost his job as speaker (gave way to Dennis Hassert another peach of a human there) because he was inpet.

He sucks on the environment, is a faux Jesus freak, babbled on about some commitee for "Unamerican Activities" a few months ago - that sounds fantastic. Besides all that he's great.

Again though you might not like him because he at least had the decency to call Trump out on the Breitbart-ish stuff.

I am thinking like a hiring manager so my question is about Gingrich's skillz.  What can he do?

Drain the swamp!

Hires head of RNC to run his office
If he is loyal to Trump...his knowledge of "the swamp" could prove to be invaluable in draining it. and to do so...Chief of Staff is exactly whee he should be..

Stop. Reality TV isn't the same as a documentary. The Apprentice was edited and partially scripted.

Nah, I'm sure if he cozied up to the establishment, those guys wouldn't have been upset with him if Trump lost.
I'm not sure about that. The whole party tried to get rid of Trump. Preebs couldn't do anything to stop Trump. I think there was a huge chance Preebs would have been the scapegoat.

Lead his party to an ### kicking in midterm elections, ethics violations, shutting down the government, taking money to lobby or rather give "history lessons and advice" to whoever wants to pay him.
