****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (35 Viewers)

One that I was just a part of

Team A gives Christian Watson, mid-to-late second (at best a seven or eight if Team A loses this week, or the ten-twelve spot if Team A wins this week), mid-to-late third (same best seven/eight best pick if loses this week or ten-twelve if Team A wins this week)

and

Team B gives Nico Collins, Dontayvion Wicks

I just did this one:

Gave: 2024 mid-late 1st, 2024 4th, 2024 5th
Got: Kyren Williams and Keaton Mitchell

Edit: minor detail, but what actually able to keep my 5th

Great deal for you…not understanding what the other guy is trying to accomplish…Williams has been a stud but I do get someone wanting to cash out but the return needs to be better than this and there is absolutely no reason Mitchell should be involved in this.

12 team IDP PPR 1.5 TE 1 QB I have been trying to deal Mixon for weeks final found a taker who is fighting for a playoff berth but has no 2nd RB this week (Patterson) with byes.

I gave up Mixon and my 2024 2nd rounder (playoff lock pick so it be 19-24)
for
a projected late 2024 1st (Not the team I traded with pick but another lock playoff team so it be 7-12)

I am loaded at RB no need for Mixon to be on my team anymore I get my matchups wrong as it is playing 4 RB's out of 7 each week so now I be picking 4 out of 6 at least.
That didn't go well with Mixon scoring nearly 30

That and not a fan of trading him to the direct competition.
Unless maybe his team is old and this helps hamstring him for a while

The team I traded him to is not in the running for the playoffs he happened to have one of the teams picks that was though and that is what pick I got.

Mixon was on his last year of his contract so next year he would been a RFA and I would have had to pay money to match any bids to retain him or I would have had to franchise him for 1/4 of my money for 1 more year. I wasn't really interested in doing either of those things for an aging RB when I have 7 other solid RB's on my roster the only thing that killed me was he scored 29 pts and Swift scored 4 pts this week and I am fighting for a bye. That been 1 more VP.

16 team, IDP (start 10 offense, 11 defenders)
Highest points and going after the title. Made this trade before last week kicked off.

Gave: Achane, Tee Higgins, Aiden Hutchinson

Got: Barkley, Diggs and Myles Garrett

He’s in a complete rebuild and trying to shed as much PP’s as he can. He has his own 1st and right now that pick is 1.03, but he should easily be able to secure the 1.02 now before week 17.

My team is very young but has been on an absolute tear since Week 10 and this gives me a legitimate shot I feel to win the league. My starting lineup now:

Stroud
Purdy
Bijan
Gibbs
Kyren
R.White
Aiuyk
Nico
Metcalf
Flowers
Ferguson

Kyren basically took Addison’s spot in the starting lineup.

With Garrett's shoulder issue I am not sure this is a net benefit for this year. Diggs is a big improvement but I am not sure the other two situations are better. I kind of see it as a wash.

12 team PPR, 1 QB

Kmet/24 1st (hopefully 1.12) for McBride

I’m having buyers remorse on this one but felt I needed any upgrade.

14 team PPR dynasty / devy, TE Premium (1.25 PPR), I'm out of the playoff hunt, he's the 2nd best team this year.

Traded Deebo Samuel for Mark Andrews. Recently traded Kyle Pitts for TreyVeyon Henderson, so I needed a TE for next year. I will need to upgrade at WR now, only having Chase and Waddle. I'm sure you don't care about that however :)

I don't understand why the other guy would do this in a 14 team TE-premium league...he needs to get more back...Deebo is a guy that helps any team, but he is kind of a wildcard from week-to-week and while not old he will be 28 in January...very nice pick-up for you without giving up too much.

If you believe McBride is going to be an elite TE (and that appears to be realistic) this is a nice deal...Kmet is solid but nothing too special and while giving up #1 stings a little if McBride is the real deal this will be a great deal for you for quite some time as you won't have to think twice about your starting TE which I am a huge fan of.

My thought as well. This team has a great roster with a hole at TE. I hope it was with the gamble.

One I overlooked as my season is basically over, PPR SF:

Team A (contending) receives Josh Allen
Team B (has #1 pick) receives Justin Fields, two 2024 1sts

Same team A also sent their 2025 1st to a team that might just scrape into the playoffs for Keenan Allen

Going all-in, I hate selling the future, but tough to argue with that one. It's not as if Allen doesn't have a lot of future ahead of him.

George Pickens, K. Mitchell, 2025 1st and 2025 2nd for Amari Cooper, Gabe Davis, Dalvin Cook, Daniel Jones, 2024 5th, 2024 6th, 2025 6th
PPR

PPR

Not understanding this one at all...giving up two good draft picks, an intriguing young RB and a WR with luggage but still young and talented and all you are really getting back is Cooper and a lot of roster-filler and low picks...I like Cooper but he is definitely not worth that package...real head-scratcher here.

Same team acquired Lockett above which is weird. Team doesn’t make playoffs ever and Lockett is 31ish

You don't get bad by accident!

14 Team .. Standard Scoring

Kelce

for

Andrews

Team getting Kelce is playing for championship and has Andrews and Everett as only TE. Team trading Kelce lost in semis and now has Andrews and Hockenson

12 Team SF
Gave 2024 1st (I'm in the championship game so 1.11 or 1.12) and Javonte Williams for Garrett Wilson

Excellent deal for you...and one I really dislike for the other guy...Wilson is only 23 and there is a good chance he becomes top 10 as long as Rodgers is about 75% of what he was...Javonte could be better next year in year 2 post-ACL but he is not someone I am targeting in a major deal like this...the piece I really don't like is the #1...that pick has to be in the top 6 area in SF (meaning you are looking at Caleb, Maye, Daniels, MJH, Nabers, Bowers or one of the other QBs if they land in a great situation) for this deal to even be in a realistic ballpark...for this deal to work out/not be a disaster Javonte has to take a big leap forward next year and you have to hit on that #1 pick...every deal has its risks but this one is totally unnecessary when you are giving up a player of Wilson's caliber and age.

FFPC 1QB ok this is our SharkPool league

I gave Kelce
I got D Henry, McBride, 2024 3rd

Making a desperate push for playoffs

ETA yeah my bad I meant to specify D Henry and thought I had
Well there are only a very small handful of trades that I've ever made* that have been as successful as this one, albeit while winning exactly 0 dollars out of it. And I bet I could have got a 1st out of Joey if I'd tried harder. But that 3rd will be either 3.01 or 3.02 so hey.

Kelce hasn't been as studly these last few weeks since this went down but McBride went supernova for me, D Henry got me the points I needed at RB and I made up 5 Victory Points in 2 weeks and squeaked into the playoffs. Frickin got bounced week 15 though (and then put up like a 157 last week that would have been a solid playoff score). Somehow in this craziness of a comeback I managed to flip the script on an earlier trade I had made with @IHEARTFF , whose 2024 1st I hold. He finished with 31 VPs and I had 30 but won my division. He is currently playing to win me the 1.01 in the Toilet Bowl.

That trade was in February and I moved Mark Andrews, Gabe Davis and my 2024 3rd (will be 3.07) for IHeart's 2024 1st (1.01 or 1.02), Metcalf, Gesicki and Hurst. Too bad I was wrong about Gesicki.

*I've made a lot - I wrote an article 2+ years ago where I think I said I had over 300 lifetime dynasty trades. Not really sure anymore but I know it's gotta be up there.

In that same league, with a laser focus on Winning a 3-Peat, I made 2 trades (including the one Barack lists above) that I would take back in a second with hindsight being 20/20 (The other being Goedert for what I assumed was going to be my late 1st rounder).

Now I sit here playing for the 1.01 for a pick i no longer own. Similar to the Kelce for McBride trade (where McBride goes off right after I trade him, and visions of Kelce carrying me to the playoffs slowly fade away as he starts playing like a pedestrian TE). I rostered Schultz before making the Goedert trade. After the trade, Goedert gets hurt, and the Stroud/Schultz connection starts performing well.

In retrospect, if I do NOTHING this year, I still have Schultz, McBride, DHenry and the 1.02 pick at worst, maybe 1.01 pick.

man, I screwed up royally in that league his year with my heart dead set on finishing my Win Now 3-Peat run. Ugh.

Contender (me) gave: Garrett Wilson, Tyjae Spears, Kendre Miller, Roschon Johnson, Quentin Johnston

Rebuilder with a shot to win a very weak division gave: Gibbs, '24 1st, '24 2nd, '24 3rd

I didn't want to give up all those prospects .... But he made the offer, I thought about it for 5 days, and decided to roll the dice. 🤷🏼‍♂️

12-team, 20-man, PPR, QRRWWFDK
6 pt all TD's, 1pt/50pyd, 0.1/rush yd, 0.1/rec yd
5 point bonus at 300pass/150rush/150rec
7 teams make playoffs

I gave: 2024 first (currently sits at #1, could very possibly fall to #2 or #3, maybe #4, but the original team also has an outside shot to win a weak division and then it would be #6-#12)

I got: 2024 first (basically a crapshoot anywhere from #6-#12), 2024 second (currently #15, but similar to the first I gave up, he could make the playoffs and be as low as #24) and Tee Higgins
So, just revisiting these two trades now that the picks are known. That pick that was sitting at #1 ended up winning his weak division, and is the #8 draft slot. Those things happen, that's what I was afraid of.

Trade 1
I gave:
Garrett Wilson
Tyjae Spears
Roschon Johnson
Kendre Miller
Quentin Johnston

I got:
Jahmyr Gibbs
#8 pick
#20 pick
#32 pick

Trade 2
I gave:
#8 pick

I got:
#11 pick
Tee Higgins

Cumulatively
I gave:
Garrett Wilson
Tyjae Spears
Roschon Johnson
Kendre Miller
Quentin Johnston

I got:
Jahmyr Gibbs
Tee Higgins
#11 pick
#20 pick
#32 pick

Curious the cost of 1.1 this year. Anyone trade for it or it away yet?
Given my league's and my own obsession with RB's due to general scarcity, I am way down on the 1.01 relative to most years. I honestly wouldn't sell Bijan (or Gibbs) if someone offered the first three picks of the draft together.

SF, TE+, large bench

Gave: Late 2024 2nd
Got: Sam Howell
Interesting to see if Howell is QB next year or not
This is where I am. I think he showed enough this season to get a chance with (likely another team) next season. IMO, a late 2nd is reasonable for a 'better than dart throw' at QB. Even if he ends up being a consistent QB 15-20, a late 2nd is worth it.

Consistent QB 15-20 would be miracle

Agreed, being SF (which I don't play, but I try to get a concept of the values), it seems worth a late 2nd.

I dunno. In his first full season of starting, which was very up and down, he managed to finish at QB14.

He was QB12 in our league this year. Granted, he has to have a starting job, which is in question, but I believe he is more likely than not to have one.

I was offered #2 overall, Kenneth Walker, Charbonet, Hockenson, & Kyren Williams for my #1 overall & Garrett Wilson.
Pass. Not a terrible offer but instant pass. I tried offering 3,4,15 overall and a 2025 second for 1 would instantly help upgrade this team but they aren’t sure. I pick 2,3,4. Perfectly content taking the other two WRs and TE.

Seems like a great offer but would depend on roster space to some degree.
I tend to keep/want the young WRs in dynasty. RBs tend to fall off a cliff quicker. Wilson and Harrison is great but it is a haul.
Agreed, but I’d make this deal just based on value. This is a weak RB class. Those RBs (assuming Kyren doesn’t get drafted over) are going to be gold. They can be flipped later.
