****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES**** (29 Viewers)

Total of 15 devy players each year, all players eligible. I'm sitting on J Taylor, D Swift, K Harmon, B Edwards & Deebo Samuel right now with a 25 man roster. There's some decent players left for the draft but those 2 firsts will probably end up being devy picks. I was putting this team together to be competitive in year 3, and planned to grow L Jackson & Josh Allen to be ready when Taylor & Swift arrived. Mahomes just seemed like a much better plan when the team started coming together.
I missed that this was a devy league. Makes the trade much better for you.

Team B J Howard, Mike Evans
I’d take DJ and Kupp here. Kupp is proving to be a pretty darn good asset, and the difference between him and Evans is much less than DJ minus Howard.

Not a fan of Howard at all.

What side is crazy?  If I'm rebuilding I take the Aaron Jones side rather easily.  Could of probably gotten a better WR than Pettis or Chark but if they're a fan of Pettis and Chark then they got what they wanted.  Jones > Watkins and Ajayi, and Olsen is a waste on a rebuilder.

A few recent trades:

12 team 2 QB, TE Premium (trade made two weeks ago)

A Gives (builder): Doug Baldwin, Jared Cook

B Gives (contender):  Christian Kirk, Ian Thomas, 2019 2nd (mid-late)

12 team Superflex PPR (trade made last week)

A Gives (builder):  Larry Fitzgerald, Trey Burton

B Gives (contender):  Devin Funchess, Tyrell Williams

14 team Superflex PPR

A Gives (builder):  Tevin Coleman, 2 2019 2nds (currently projected 2.04 and 2.05)

B Gives (contender):  TreQuan Smith, 2019 1st (currently projected 1.09), 2020 2nd

Watkins > entire other side. Watkins regardless of rebuilding or not.

Watkins is WR33 on a ppg basis averaging 12.6ppg in a year where his QB is on pace for 5200 yards and 52 TD's.  This is the same Watkins who has been continually hampered by injuries and demonstrated zero consistency in what is now his 5th season.  I don't necessary think the book is written on him, but it would be a pretty shocking development if he somehow morphed into a difference making fantasy WR.  Olsen holds no dynasty value at this stage, and Ajayi is a terrible ppr RB.  So I'd also easily lean Aaron Jones, Chark, and Pettis if I were in a rebuild and there's a 95% chance I'd take that side even if I weren't.  Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

what he said, especially the Watkins Reality Check part. in my non-ppg league, he's WR35. The 2nd worse starting WR in a Start 3 WR league.   I sold him for a 2019 late 1st and I'm not looking back...

I agree on the Watkins "hate." He's had 65, 60, 28, and 39 receptions each year of his career, not counting this one. He's played in 52 games. That's an average of 3.7 receptions per game.

That's not someone I'm going to pay very much to obtain.

12 team PPR SuperFlex, 1.5 PPR for TE

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex ,1 SuperFlex

Gave up Eric Ebron

Got Christian Kirk

Hated moving Ebron because I'm a fan of his, but I already have OJ Howard, Evan Engram, and an emerging Mark Andrews at TE and WR was a far bigger need of mine - especially when you can start up to 5 or even 6 of them.

I don't think I paid too much for Watkins.   He was the key to me.  Wanted a piece of the  KC offense at a reasonable price.   Hill Kelce &Mahomes are pretty much untouchable now.   Don't think Jones will be a long time fixture for GB.  Olsen is  a  good  addition to make a  run this season.    Pettis and Chark won't do much this year.   Could regret losing them in a couple of years.

12 team ppr

Team 1 Gets: Drew Brees, Latavius Murray, Chris Thompson, Cole Beasley, Antonio Brown, Taylor Gabriel, Jimmy Graham, 2019 2nd, 2019 4th
Team 2 Gets: Carson Wentz, Phillip Lindsay, Tyler Boyd, Tim Patrick, Cordarrelle Patterson, Vernon Davis, Matt Bryant

Team 1 Gets: Marvin Jones, 2019 4th

Team 3 Gets: Chris Thompson, 2019 2nd

Team 1 Gets: Duke Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Julio Jones

Team 4 Gets: Geronimo Allison, DJ Chark, 2019 1st (Mid), 2019 1st (Mid)

Team 1 Roster now:
QB: Luck, Brees

HB: Hunt, Bell, Murray, D Johnson, Allen

WR: Brown, J Jones, M Jones, D Thomas, Fitzgerald, Gabriel (Yes the cupboard was bare before these trades)

TE: Howard, Cook, Graham, Reed

Oh I agree with you. I think I still prefer the other side, but it’s a close, fair deal. And getting part of the KC offense is probably a good idea.

I was more responding to the folks saying Watkins in a landslide.

He was in a wasteland in Buffalo and wasn’t used in LA. Zero relevance. Still  Annual average including those times of 61/935 >7 TDs. He’s now on pace for nearly 1000  and > 70 receptions in his first Year in KC. 2 100 yards games and that includes  a donut where he was knocked out after a quarter. I’m not high on him but haven’t seen anything from Pettis or chark to tip the scales to that side especially after you include Olsen who is worth a 2 by himself. I like Jones but have seen nothing from McCarthy indicating he’s going to give him the load Anytime soon.

crazy.

Shrug

Watkins is a decent starting receiver. Nothing special. I thought he could be really good, looked like he would be after his rookie year. But he's clearly the 4th option in the Chief's offense and I don't think this is quite Rams circa 2001.

He's the kind of receiver who makes a solid wr3 I think but won't be a difference maker.

12 team deep PPR

McCoy, Keelan Cole, Jeff Heurman, 2019 5th, 2020 Third.

Njoku, 2020 First (likely 3-6 overall) even this far out.

Been trying to trade McCoy for a long time (I don't use him and the Bills suck) Had to push it out to a 2020 1st to make it happen.

Team's RB's are - Patterson (NE) - Blount, Ware, Montgomery, Alex Collins (bye) - Team is a mess at RB - Maybe McCoy gets dealt in the offseason.

Njoku and the first are the best assets in the deal and you got both of them. Good job.

What the?

I wouldn't trade (nor even consider) Njoku OR the first alone for that haul of mediocre junk.

I’d take DJ and Kupp here. Kupp is proving to be a pretty darn good asset, and the difference between him and Evans is much less than DJ minus Howard.

Not a fan of Howard at all.
Evans, though I'm partial to top 5-ish dynasty WRs and have no desire to buy into the Arizona offense for the foreseeable future.

It's weird to me how Kupp is still being underrated. He's on one of the best offenses in the league and just keeps putting up good numbers. Taking out his game he got hurt, he's actually the number 5 WR at this point this year, averaging over 20 points per game. I just don't think Evans is THAT much more valuable than Kupp.

But I fully understand staying away from the AZ offense...

16tm TE prem w/ IDP

Gave: Parker & 3rd (pick in the late 40s)

Got: Graham

I'm a contender w/ Gronk & AJG

He's rebuilding.

I don't mind the trade for either side and I like Kupp a lot in the short term. This is more about Evans immense value versus a middling talent in a perfect storm situation and a diminished value RB. Evans is so talented he could succeed in any offense in the NFL with the exception of maybe Buffalo. Most importantly, he was born only 3 days before 2018 1st round pick Hayden Hurst (both 25 y/o). Lol.

12 team full ppr. 1Q 2RB 2WR 1TE 2FLEX

Team A gives: Mid-1st and Keke Coutee

Team B gives: Ertz and 5th

Team B in rebuild. Team A trying to make playoff push.

16 Team PPR large rosters, QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/K/D/Flex

Team A gives:

Julio Jones

2019 3rd

Team B gives:

Alex Collins

Taylor Gabriel

2019 1st

12 team PPR SuperFlex, 1.5 PPR for TE

I think you killed it. This is probably as high as Ebron's value will ever be

12 team PPR. Start 2 RB's and 4 WR's. I'm the team getting Coleman. Won the league 2 years in a row. Have Gurley, but not a lot else (Freeman (injured), Drake, Hyde, McGuire). Have WR depth (Diggs, Hill, Landry, JuJu, Sterling). Drafted Ridley at the 1.12.

Team A gave up Ridley, Calvin ATL WR

Team B gave up Coleman, Tevin ATL RB

Kittle seems like a nice building piece at his position. Just curious....why get rid of a young promising player for a late first?
Yeah I like Kittle side. I dealt him in off-season for similar price (early second 14 teamer) and was reluctant at the time. Can't imagine getting that kind of return now that he looks top 5.

Ridley in full PPR start 4WR. Coleman wins for 2018 but dynasty Ridley easy.

It was a tough decision. I am interested to see where Coleman goes after the season. May be an RB1 on a team that gives him a lot more touches per game.
I just think Ridley could net a better RB. Disclaimer that I've never been a big Coleman fan and dont expect him to be more than rb2-3 somewhere when he leaves.

Three weeks ago I offered the same deal and he turned it down. Said he wasn't a Ridley fan. Resent the offer after the games last week (Coleman went for 32 and Ridley for almost 20) and he took it.

Trading in any league is a grind. 99% of the offers I get are ####. Sometimes a realistic overpay, with a willing owner, gets a deal done. It will be interesting to look back a few years from now and see how this ends up.

Remember this post in a few years when Ridley is making his fifth pro bowl and Tevin is running youth football camps. ?

Gave George Kittle

Received Late 2019 1st

I think Kittle is good, but I don't view him as a dominate player like Gronk or Kelce.  I think the pick will be 1.8-1.10, so I think that is good value for him imo. I've had a good run finishing 1st or 2nd 4 of the last five years, but my core is aging and fell apart this year (Roethlisberger, David Johnson, Antonio Brown, Crabtree, Demaryius, Sanders, Gronk).  Its kind of iffy on whether I will even make the playoffs this year.  I feel like I still have a few years of Gronk left.  Even if its mediocre Gronk, it shouldn't be too big of a fall off from Kittle and I like Jonnu Smith as prospect too.  I rather use the pick elsewhere than to hold onto Kittle, who if I get good Gronk I don't even start him.

FFPC:

Team A receives Sanders and 4th

Team B receives Ronald Jones and 3rd

then

Team A receives Allen Robinson

Team C receives Sanders

A and C are playoff contenders (6th and 5th places currently. Top 6 make playoffs). B is out of playoff race. I'm team A and I was not planning to then flip Sanders but thought was good value particularly if I miss playoffs.

I'd say it works out for everyone though I think in long run I'll be happy to have gotten rid of RoJo. Thoughts?

Speaking of which he got traded last night in an FFPC league of mine and I thought the return was miserable.

He got back Ito Smith and a first round pick of one of 3 best teams in the league so likely very late, likely 10-12.

12 tm PPR - standard lineups.  Made 2 deals back to back

1) Gave Zeke and got Conner, mid 2019 1st (not his 1st, another he had acquired) - so I probably didn't get enough for Zeke but wanted to shake things up, but then trade 2

2) Gave: A.Jones/J.Williams, my 2019 1st (let's say mid for now) and another 1st I owned (not the one I just acquired, but also mid to late) for Hunt

So basically I traded Zeke, A.Jones and my 1st for Conner and Hunt.  As an added bonus, the team I got Hunt from, I own his 1st so it will help me in that regard as his team is now worse...

If it was a 2025 first you should thank your lucky stars.

Obviously Conner’s value and price have been rising but together I like your deals including very much for this year.  if you get in playoffs with those 2 it will be big.  While everyone has opinion or preference on Elliott vs Hunt I think most would simply agree they are same tier for dynasty RB.  If you miss playoffs and the draft is determined by a consolation playoff bracket  (like in FFPC) which you do very well in, then the deals gets closer but still not a loss IMO.
