I own him on a few team and he's one of the players I'm most interested to see land. It could factor into me deciding to cut him or putting a fairly decent value on him. At least I hope it makes my decision more clear.

I just found out last night  that the Ravens almost traded for him this past year-that would have been great last year, that they thought they had put a fair price out for him but got rejected. That's the kind of landing spot I might have to just cut(FFPC). And that's actually a good system for him could highlight his strengths and minimize his weakness in passing game but it's the 3 headed RBBC with a running QB that would not be so great. Anyway I only found out this news because a Ravens beat writer listed him as a possible FA target and then explained why(that they tried to trade for him and both RB's coming off injury)

Yeah, great landing spot last year - but long-term ramifications would be horrific. 

If that trade had gone down I woulda offered him to both the Dobbins & Gus Edwards owners in my league. 

Jones isn’t as bad if a receiver as it seemed. He just got punished more for drops than anyone else because Arians hates him.  His pass pro is about on par with Lenny’s (maybe even a stitch better) and on a few of his “drops”, Brady laid him out to get crushed. I remember one in particular he got benched for was low and behind him - he had to turn around, go to his knees to catch it off the turf, simultaneous with being crushed by 2 defenders. It was ruled a fumble (when it should have been incomplete) and he never saw the field again that game.

If he goes to a team that shows a little faith in him, he’s going to be fine as a receiver. He’s not elite - I’m not saying that. But he is serviceable.

Feels like if the 1.02 team had a mid-second, it would be a more fair value to move up 1 spot. But short of that, or a player they were willing to move, this is what it took to get it done.

Must say I don't see this at all. Fournette is fantastic in pass protection. ROJO is a lot more explosive as a runner but IMO the gap between them in pass protection is massive and ROJO has worse hands. True Arains did him no favor but I don't think Brady felt comfortable with ROJO either on passing downs.

ROJO works hard at being a better receiver but he's just not a natural. My expectation of him going forward is his best outcome is to be a teams main two down back and that would make him valuable to me.

Coming into TB, Lenny ranked 29th in the league. RoJo ranked 25th. He was certainly not “fantastic”. 

He seemed to improve with the Bucs in his 2nd year, but let’s not get too carried away. 

ETA: we’re in agreement on the 2nd point. He fits well as a 2-down back, but I maintain he’s not useless as a receiver.

If you are quoting PFF to me it's a waste of time. Not trying to beat this horse to death but there is a reason the Jaguars and eventually Tampa stopped taking Fournette off the field on passing downs.

Feels fine but with recent combine buzz on Hall I think most 1.01 owners will either want more or will want to wait until closer to the draft. I tried a similar offer in one league a few days ago and it was straight up rejected with no comments or counter.

If not, there’s little chance of prying that pick, as Hall is the only RB of this class that shows up top 10 in most devy rankings I’ve seen. 

If the 1.01 needs a WR, this price should easily get it done. 14th overall pick to move up 1 spot seems pretty generous, IMO.

I've got the 1.01 and do need an RB, and it would take a no-brainer haul to move me off of it before the NFL draft happens and we see where everyone lands.   While the 2.02 should be a decent pick it's not a no-brainer haul, especially in 2022 draft.  All it would take is for Walker to land on a weird team (it only takes one GM to fall in love)...

Getting legit starting RBs is not easy so I would take Gibson and the fact he will only be 24 in June means you should get some mileage out of him...Palmer is intriguing but with Allen and Williams playing his upside is limited and while I can envision Palmer becoming fantasy relevant, I am not letting a player of his ilk (i.e. he is not a guy I would be targeting in this type of deal) stop me from helping my starting lineup and enhancing your RB depth which is a key to any championship run...always tough to give up a #1 but you have a year to get it back so you have made your 2022 team much better without touching your core or becoming old.

The biggest question is whether Team A earned the 1.1 or the 1.8 he’s trading away with his 2023 pick. If it’s the 1.1 those players aren’t going to help much. If it’s the 1.8 those players should/could bump the 2023 pick to 1.10 at least.

Yup...also, it is a 12 team SF so trading away a QB like Lawrence is a big move unless you are really deep at that position...and as you alluded to Chubb is more of a win now piece so you would hope the team acquiring him is close and if they are they did a good job getting both short and long term help.

Agreed...he has limited value...I am guessing he could be best used as an add-on to a big deal where he could move the needle just enough to get the deal done.

I am holding out hope ... as slim as it is, that he returns in 2023 rejuvenated and healthy with a burning need to prove himself! 

I own him.  I am also in a full rebuild (year 2) and I don't expect to be competitive until 2024.  Yeah, he will be older and likely on a new team ...  but Value is there to be had.  If you are patient and don't spend too much to acquire.  I would gladly give up Reagor and the 3.08 on the 20% Chance Ridley plays again in 2023.

That, and the many, many times he had a clear path the the end zone, had the angle on the defenders, and inexplicably cut back into them. Or when instead of running north/south, he ran east west in the middle of a play. None of it made sense. Someone put together a highlight reel (lowlight, really) and there were 4 easy TDs he left on the field.

I’m not talking Zapruder film level of conspiracy here - we have really good camerawork nowadays. At the time, in real time, I was shocked he didn’t score on most/all of those plays.

I can’t believe someone paid 1.07 for Kmet. That’s a huge overpay. 

ETA: ran it through my calc. 
kmet = 28.8

1.07 = 146.88


 

ETA: somehow missed 1.12, but it’s still awful. It’s closer on the trade calc, but as I see a big drop-off past 1.09 (SF) or 1.07 (1 QB) I’d never accept that.
