But I see CeeDee and Bowers on one side and say - that's the side for me!

I get that. It's kind of a "what are you doing - playing for this year or rebuilding deal". The Bowers/Ceedee side got better for this year but Ceedee is likely unable to be kept beyond this year. And the other side got three very valuable draft picks, two young TE's and two cheaper upside WR's. Kind of good for both sides for what they are trying to do with their teams.

I kind of broke it down like this:

• Ceedee = Higgins, Waddle, 1st round pick
• Parsons = Turner

Knowing the details and context, this deal makes perfect sense.

High scoring defensive players + TEP, I don’t mind turning Bowers into Fannin & Gadsen, there isn’t that wide of a chasm between Parsons & Turner, and while I don’t love the dilution of Lamb into Waddle+Tee, knowing the cap numbers that part might make the most sense of the entire deal.

Fair trade for sure. And a healthy reminder of why I don’t play in salary cap formats. I had to break out my slide rule & abacus for this one.

I'd say one late 1st in a 12 teamer is fair. This would be equivalent to two early 2nd's from the sound of it in a 12 teamer so sounds fair to me but the dynamics of it being 16 teams and full IDP makes me lean much more towards the picks.

Good trade for both as long as it isn’t the team that’s trading for Jacobs their own first round pick that is top 6. I can see a contender letting go of someone else’s 1st for Jacobs. Ut a rebuild shouldn’t include Jacobs, especially at the expense of a top 6 pick.

So this 1st rounder looks late to me and Lamar helps my position but nothing locked. I'm 6-2 with 19 VPs in the 5 seed and miles and miles to go still.

I kind of hit the jackpot with Gadsden, and have Goedert to remain competitive at TE with Helm that I also just picked up and who might emerge more. Not sure how I feel about Jennings ATM but he was throw in and I may very well use him. Engram will be useable as well though he hasn't been quite the auto start we'd like. But this move was all about Lamar for me. Duh.

I would have to know what your roster needs are but I would say Drake London is probably worth two 1sts, depending on who is buying. I would probably need the same thing for Tet, due to age and unknowns... but I don't even see a rebuild scenario where you are selling him for what is being offered.

I wouldn't give the 13th pick in the draft for Skattebo, but that may be just me.

If it's FFPC format and you can start 3 TE's it's no more crazy to me then if you had 2-3 top end WR's and traded for another one.

if it's not a dual flex league then yeah, it's crazy.

Anyway, most of my worst cuts or giveaways in my FFPC dynasty history are all TE's. Kelce, Kittle, McBride, Kraft(3x) and now Gadsden(2x). I'm really not sure how to handle this in the future. Seems easy to say just hold longer but there are plenty that don't break out even when you give them their entire rookie year they don't show much, and Kittle and Gadsden were 5th round rookie picks and FFPC just does not allow the roster space to just declare 5th round rookie are keepers unless they flash and give you a reason.

Ignoring that we have a separate dynasty value thread for this sort of post, would it have been that hard to have replied to that saying something like "that seems rich, any other thoughts"? That's fair; I actually hadn't read anything today as I'm so busy at work but have read everything this week so far.

As for the trade you posted, too rich for me. Pre injury a yes but not post injury.

I'm assuming you are saying wow because it isn't a fair trade. It isn't most likely in redraft, but in dynasty you may see this differently down the very short road. I still prefer McConkey in either format, but it may not be as bad as you think in dynasty.
