I am sort of weirded out that TWD needs to win emmys to be a great show. Seems strange.

I would never be the most main stream type of show anyway. After all, it is a show about zombies based off a comic book.

I guess if I needed the general public to choose what I should like then it would matter. Maybe some day.

Emmy's aren't determined by the general public.

I'd consider the show very mainstream considering it's Nelson ratings.

No one is telling you what to like.

I would LOVE for TWD and this thread to actually be serious with discussing the show (ya know, with people watch it cause they actually like it), but it's beyond not possible and hasnt been for a while.

Obviously not familiar with Galileo's famous experiment that showed objects of different masses fall at the same rate. The one where he went up the Tower of Piza and dropped a cannonball and a weighted van full of zombie apocalypse survivors and they hit the ground at the same time.

and stop schtick feeding the schtick animals... it really only makes it worse (for everybody).

but again (ad nauseum) I enjoy the shows a lot- and I enjoy taking the piss out of the shows... because there's a lot of goofiness. For me, that kind of discussion is part of what makes these threads fun (and funny). but its pretty easy to ignore or skim past those of us who repeatedly post things that bunch your panties- no reason to waste energy complaining.

I imagine that they use that as another heavy handed metaphor about becoming too secure in your surroundings in a zombie apocalypse and kill him off too.

 
Think about how much money is saved by having a zombie show without zombies. Just send the makeup department home early every day and save boatloads. :thumbup:

If only this was a zombie show, but this is a show about the collapse of humanity leading up to the zombie world.

yeah, i'm not trying to be "that guy". but the whole military destroys everything and this guy torturing to get his wife back is just silly. there have been about 30 zombie books written the last 6-7 years that have this scenario 10x better. i get budget constrains, but the story could be a bit better
