My rough calculations put this thread length @ 20625 feet, only ~4miles.JAASpeaking of cruising along nicely...If one had a 17" monitor set to 1024x768 resolution and the browser set to full screen, would this thread stretch from New York to Los Angeles if it wasn't broken down into pages?
Back away from the "line". You guys are cruising along nicely....
If not, how much farther do we have to go?

Ironically they billed my credit card twice when I signed up, so I've got another season on my management page waiting for me to draft. They can use that credit to refund to Larry.

If I'd have kept at it I have no doubt there would have been serious (FBG related) consequences. That said, I don't really think anything I did was bad enough (comparatively) to get much more than a TO. Like I said, I very much appreciated the warning over just getting a timeout. I think when you get a timeout w/out warning it's either just because you did something they feel is so wrong no explaining is needed (which wasn't my case...everything I did was borderline at worst IMO) or because they just don't have time for it (I could have seen them just giving a lot of "us" some time off to cool down yesterday...which they kind of did w/ the "semi-deletion" of the thread. Don't know what else to say. This is my first real mod-related, mod contact. Again, just speaking from my experience, I appreciate the warning. Sorry to hear you weren't given the same courtesy in the past. Big

I also appreciate a certain post (LB's user name just had to have 10 characters) just being deleted and not having that thread locked. All in all I'm pretty pleased w/ the mods. They could have 86'd our thread. They could have lived up to their Nazi reputation and just started deleting everything in site, handing out IP bans, ect. They were pretty reasonable imo. I disagree on a few borderline calls...but hey if it's borderline it is their site and their call. When you step up to that border you have to respect their judgement over yours.

The things I got timeouts for were pretty obvious, so I think you're right there. As for giving Larry_boy the money, it's already spent as WIS has already charged me. Updated Standings per usual scoring and missing one game. The second number is the number of games played against the dummy teams. In Nipsey's case those games can be counted as competitive. Man, I hope. On a 9-17 skid right now after an 8-3 start.Didn't do a good job building my team for my park. I've got the LH power, but I don't have enough RH guys who hit for average to pepper balls into the huge left field.
And pretty much all of my pitching gets shelled at home. Most of my guys, both starters and bullpen, are around double their real-life ERA. Opposing BA against my pitchers is also highly inflated, except for Al Leiter.
Leiter is my ace right now -- 4-1 with opponents hitting .188 against him. Spahn, Schilling, Plank all reek of rotting skunk.
