***OFFICIAL*** FFA MLB Draft (3 Viewers)

I don't exist.  My winning this doesn't count.

I am inferior to you.
Dear Larry,At least you're coming around.

Love,

Gold Dragon
:rotflmao: are you really that pathetic that you need to edit what I said to make it say what you want to believe?

I almost feel sorry for you that you wnat ot win this THIS badly...

Larry, did you report me?  Word on the street is that you reported me?
nope...why owuld I have reported you?
Capella keeps p-mailing me saying you reported me...Pickles said something, too. Maybe they're messing with me. After all, I thought you and I were pretty good friends. I believe in God, and I'm not ready to rule any of the dragons out yet, like everybody else has.see ya buddy!

When you getting married?

2-1 over the Curse Reversing Idiots to sweep them taking my record up to 48-13 before my 3 game series with Pumpnicks...most importantly, though, I am 10 games better than Harrier is...

prolly those guys are just playin games again. I have both of them on ignore, so they can't see this. we should start are own league.

All Star nominations from; Capella, Sammy, IWKS, Larry, Nipsey, Doug B, GWB, Trefor, Funkley, Pickles, Spock, Harrier, lastresort

Pickles went over the limit but all the guys looked deserving. With only 24 teams and 30 man rosters don't see the problem with going over 8 actually. Originally thought it would make the ballot too big/hard to read, but a lot of teams are under 8 and some teams (Dragon Arks and Lebron, ect) proboably won't end up with any. If anybody wants to add some guys and ends up over 8 that is fine. Just don't turn it into a thing where you nominate every guy on your team. Do nominate guys that are deserving of a look even if they proboably shouldn't make the team. It'll be more interesting to vote if we have atleast a few options at each position. I'll get the ballot out proboably Sunday night.

Oh, if Koya submitted a list it'll need to be copied by somebody.

you know, the one thing that bothers me about this sim is the fatigue factor. I'd actually like to feel like I'm managing a bit. Bench has caught damn near every inning this year and still has a perfect fatigue level. Sort of sucks. I never use any of my backups.

Good point Cappy. I try to rotate guys in somewhat regularly even if the fatigue says I don't have to. Would be better is some things were more "realistic" though. It's a very "stats" oriented sim for sure and doesn't make a big effort at some of the little things like that.

Two more All-Star nominations:

Luke Appling SS .275AVG/.406OBP

Elmer Smith CF .320AVG/.400OBP
got it. Again, don't worry if it takes you over 8. They are just nominations. If we restrict it too much I think some spots (like SS) are going to end up w/ only a guy or two on the ballot. If you think a guy might be able to get some votes get his name up there.

If you're short on Patriot League second basemen, Buddy Meyer is hitting .360 for me, and over .500 OBP. He's only started about 20-25 games so far, though.

 I've got a lot of guys in regular platoons and am having a hard time deciding how many of them, if any, are worthy. For example Zeke Bonura has hit something like 15 homeruns in maybe 125 AB's. He's only started about half our games though. It would be easier if we could sort league leaders by position or something. Either way better to add somebody (especially to spots like that, everybody is going to submit a couple outfielders so if a guy is borderline there no big deal if you leave him off, but spots like catcher, second base, ect. that don't have as many "star caliber" guys go ahead and nominate anybody that is close) than end up with thin positions only having a guy or two on the ballot imo.

no, I don't think slugging is Castillo's game... I know it isn't...I just think its funny that you are saying one player would be better 'cuz another player has a sucky slugging percentage... only the player that you replaced him with has a worse slugging percentage...

I know that Castillo's game isn't slugging... what you said, taken at face value though, was kinda funny...

In another thread (the werewolf thread :nerd: ) a guy brought up the fact that another man's wife had engaged in sexual activities w/ another man on that man's (the one with the wife) kitchen table. Did it get :reported:....no. Deleted....no. Did the mod in thread (and there is one in thread playing the game so similar to the Rude Dude situation) have to send warning pm's and delete things.....not to my knowledge. That is in a werewolf thread for christ' sakes. Some of you should be ashamed.edited to add I wouldn't mind having Castillo on my team. If he'd put up those kind of numbers in a full-time role (think what the steals would project out to) it would be pretty impressive.

Fair enough.Casillo has 10/10 on steals in 91 abs and has a higher OBP and is a better fielder, that's why he's playing.

I understand why he's playing... and he is doing better than Soriano was if Soriano's SLG& was only .362... it was just funny that you went "SORIANO SUCKS!! HIS SLUGGING IS ONLY .362!!!" then put in a guy with an even lower slugging...think about it at face value before you think about who the players are and thier styles of play and its kinda funny... lol

That is in a werewolf thread for christ' sakes.  Some of you should be ashamed.

edited to add I wouldn't mind having Castillo on my team.  If he'd put up those kind of numbers in a full-time role (think what the steals would project out to) it would be pretty impressive.
why don't you say what you really feel?

In another thread (the werewolf thread  :nerd: ) a guy brought up the fact that another man's wife had engaged in sexual activities w/ another man on that man's (the one with the wife) kitchen table.  Did it get :reported:....no.  Deleted....no.  Did the mod in thread (and there is one in thread playing the game so similar to the Rude Dude situation) have to send warning pm's and delete things.....not to my knowledge.

You did get some points for not reporting (atleast to my knowledge) my artwork.

I'm up to 8 guys....woohoo!  If I would have been playing Castillo all year he'd have a pretty good shot, but I only recently inserted him for Alphonso "My SLG% is .368" Soriano.
that is made funnier by the fact that Castillo has a SLG% of .352... :rotflmao:
Do you think slugging is Luis Castillo's game?Moron.
If guys with just 91 At Bats are All Star eligible, I'd like to nominate:Cesar Cedeno CF .385 4 14 (.454 OBP, .604 SLG, 19/19 SB) in just 97 ABs

Shawn Green RF .265 7 33 (.421 OBP, .578 SLG) in just 83 ABs

Rocky Colavito LF .329 6 29 (.411 OBP, .598 SLG) in just 82 ABs

They won't make it in the outfield obviously (there are a ton of very deserving outfielders). At a position like say second base I don't know how many guys have put up respectable numbers on a full time basis. If a guy is hitting .350 in 135 AB's I might take him over a guy who's hitting .265 over a more full time 230 AB's as an example. If the ballots look too full I'll adjust them to take out some of the excess (guys who don't qualify for the batting title 3.1 plate appearances per game would be the first to go) and if we don't get enough at a certain spot I'll comb through and try to make it a complete ballot w/ some additions.

This is true. I can always cut guys out (but would only do so in obvious cases...if I see 6 or 7 very deserving second basemen that play full time nominated in his league i'll just take Castillo out for example), but it'll be harder for me to decide which guys to add if say only one third basemen gets nominated because everybody fills up their 8 on outfielders and pitchers.
