Wow, this #### looks GOOD. Must go find live play. Are you guys making all managerial decicions? Tell me at 7 when you wake up half way into the first Q of the superbowl.

 
can someone give me a tutorial on how to sign up and such? yes, i'm pulling a larryboy here.

Well, first you have to sign up for whatifsports if you haven't. Just the basic click new user or register or whatever they have and give them your info. After that you've got to join Cappy's private league (I forgot the id...pm'd cappy and he sent an e-mail) and fill out your team. If you go over the cap you've got to adjust it to get under and then pm cappy and he can switch the adjustments back.

I signed up ages ago. Put in my roster today. Way over the cap (like 2x). I need to get this under the cap just to join the league?Do I need to pay to play? How are you ####ers playing single head to head games right now? I thought this was a season only thing.
 
Great first game with Doug B. I lost 4-3 in 10, but had men on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of 10 with 2 outs and Home Run Baker up. Hit a long fly ball out. Stupid big park, whose idea was that? Oh, right.

 
Sorry, Spartans -- I had to change a diaper right after the game.Nice cat & mouse with HR Bker vs. Dibble/Henke. :thumbup:

I hope it's free :( When you go to your Team Center in WIS.com, there's a blue "Sim Live" button on the left. Click on that to jump in the Open Play rooms. You can challenge anyone you see there, or wait for someone from our league. AFAICT, it's just funsies -- no effect on the actual 162-game sim to come.I've already played Harrier and Spartans today. Harriers :own3d: me pretty handily. Spartans and I seem to be a close match at his place..

I'd join ya'll in a game, but I'm using my dad's prehistoric computer and downloading the lastest version of Java on a 56krap modem would take longer than I feel like being on a computer today.

 
How long do the games last? I have about an hour or so to kill before folks come by for the bowl. If someone wants to do this, Ill give it a try. Havent done it yet.

Badger, Id give it a try. Im at only 80% speed but should be enough. I dont need no stinking Griffey, Ashburn or Crawford. :mellow:edit - my user name there is b47p (not koya. )

I'm beginning to think live play is going to be the coolest thing to come out of this draft. Better than the thread, the sim, the vote, all of it.

 
Dude, that ####### RULES. Holy cow. I can see having a season, and doing another season. Im freakin addicted. So easy and quick too.Im gonna have to try to get in another couple games before Super Bowl.Cap... :applause: for you. This alone is fun enough to make this work the effort and fishing.To bad Pickles is being whipped by his chick (take that however you like).

 
So after 5 dominating games, I'm being beaten by Spartans 12-0. Awesome. I want my pitchers back!

I need to print out the boxscore from that one and frame it. That has to be about as good as my team can play. Helps to have them all there too I suppose.I should have made more homer picks. Hal Newhouser, Harry Heilmann, Lou Whitaker, Willie Hernandez... Tigers are carrying my team.
 
has anybody noticed a difference playing at home or the road yet?I haven't played a home game yet, and wondered if it affects the sim at all..

My team is better on the road for some reason, even though they're tailored to my huge park.
