OK, I just recieved this E-mail:

We've re-simmed the game and it came out 4-0 in your favor. Please tell your commisioner to update the site manually to reflect your win.
If you're wondering how you scored, King Kelly hit two 2 run homers (wow!). He also had a single and a double.
Anyway, thanks for using the site and as you already know, a lot of us in the office are pulling for you.

Interesting factoid: all six 2-0 teams -- except UCONN's Taurasi Troopers -- have feasted upon filler teams. Spock's Kobayashi Maru has suffered the opposite fate, dropping two to Oso Diablo's Leftovers (who are actually a pretty strong club, IMHO).

KING!KING!!!Of all the people to get involved here Koya, I'd have bet you'd kept your mouth shut on this one. For someone that used a bad rule as a crutch in the NBA draft, you'd be better off keeping quiet here.

Why not? I played around with playing guys out of position and it can be murder. I don't have a back up SS, so it'll have to happen sooner or later. I wasn't drafting for the sim, as you can see.Is he even legal there.:Reported:BTW, Chuck Knoblauch played an error free game at SS.

Im just bustin balls.Why not? I played around with playing guys out of position and it can be murder. I don't have a back up SS, so it'll have to happen sooner or later. Well, after the first 3 games, I can say I'm happy with the way my team performed. Babe Ruth cranked 3 homers in the 3 game set, and for the most part, my offense has been pretty productive. Pitching is leaving a little something to be desired, but I expected that the way I drafted.What's kinda sad is that after Jack Morris o\/\/ned Koya (8 IP, 0 BB, 8 K, 0 runs), he allows 7 in 4 2/3 IP. Kinda disheartening, but hey, even the greats have a bad day here and there.

Strange, I played 4 games against him and won 3 (including the Morris domiation).Then again, my team may just be that damn good.:rotflmao: LOL....not gonna talk much #### about Koya's team. Behind the scenes simming against him didn't go so good.

Agreed. Can we get that changed ASAP, I think once it's fixed the integrity of the league will be restored.I'm thinking of protesting the third game as well because clearly, they played like a 1-1 team and not a 2-0 team. Had the records have been correct, I'd have probably won....

i missed this at the time, and just noticed it tonight. I later picked Norm Cash as the 1B for the Leftovers. I'll look for a replacement Corner IF (already have Mickey Vernon at 1B, too), and request Capella to make the swap. Sorry for the oversight.

Secondly, I'll see what I can do with regards to changing the standings. If the commissioner doesn't want to do it manually, we can and sometimes do just disolve the entire league. We don't like to do that, but if need be, we have that option. Some here in the office have already asked me to do it, as they don't like to see you treated this way. We hold you and your club in very high regard and to see you suffer like this is just too much for some of the staffers, especially the females.
Anywho, rock on with your bad self. Godspeed.

Actually, what I should have done is sent you a fair warning that uberstud Carl Mays was going to be starting game 3 instead of Mike Mussina. Had you known that, you could have at least adjusted for the realization that you weren't going to be scoring any runs. As it stands, your squad has been demoralized and stripped of their dignity. For that, I am truly truly sorry.Oh, and "ouch."

Oh, and bribing us with stale bread is probably the worst idea imaginable, although I did feed the dog with it. You probably should have put more thought into your team instead of reaching for those two mediocre closers. There's your real problem. Was this the all facial hair draft or what? I'm confused. Anyway, good luck with the season and please don't contact us again.
