What is proboably the worst of the dummy teams gave me a pretty good series. They faced my 1, 2, and 3 starters and lost 22-0, 9-5, and 11-9. I was losing the last game going into the 8th inning. Sat some of my real high picks the last couple games. I'd say that team is just about level with me if you take away my first 5 picks. That's pretty competitive for a "filler" team, and I know some of the other filler teams are much better than them (Dragons, Arks, and Lebron).edited to add they have the worst record in the league. The Colome team has won 7 more games than them and the "Leftovers" are actually in the wild-card race (though I doubt they'll seriously contend for it, too many teams to jump over and some of them are going to play well).

Just so you know, I gave up schtick for Lent so there will be no schtick from me for awhile. This also explains my relative hiatus from this thread over the last few days.

Ted Williams :own3d: Capella.

Nipsey's next :boxing:

Some genius work from Nipsey above. Possible career change?
Damn good series...all one-run games.Got a trio against a dummy team. You two beat each other around (go nipsey). :gang:

His staff has a league leading 3.02 ERA (over 2 runs below league average).Spock's team has been suprisingly offensive. They rank 3rd in runs scored with 404, lead the league in steals, have the fewest strikeouts in the league, and out-homer their opponents 57-44. They haven't been near as good in the field or on the mound as you would expect. Their 4.10 ERA is very average (10th) and they've committed 45 errors (4th most).Funkley's team leads the league in homeruns with 94 (Jimmie Fox's 22 are tied for second best in the league). Their pitching staff has relied on control (tied for the fewest walks in the league) to post a very respectable 3.76 ERA (8th).Bogart's Rabbits have scored the second most runs in the league. He has a well balanced line-up that leads the league in batting average, produces adequate power, and is able to take the extra base (77/91 steals).Koya has one of the best home run differentials in the league. His team has hit 76 (6th) and only given up 35 (2nd fewest). His staff hasn't been overpowering (327 K's, 13th), but has gotten the job done with a 3.54 ERA (5th best). His bullpen has blown 8 saves (tied for the league lead). The Troopers have been very adequate at the plate, in the field, and on the mound. We rank 8th in runs, 12th in runs allowed, and have the 6th fewest errors in the league. IWKS has a great record for his numbers. The Curse Reversing Idiots score fewer runs than the league average and have very mediocre pitching stats as well (4.35 ERA is 17th). They've defended their home-field about as well as any team in the league with a 20-10 record at Fenway.Pumpnick has stayed afloat with pitching. The Pampnick's 3.13 ERA is 3rd best in the league, but they've been terrible at the plate (5th fewest runs scored) and in the field (2nd most errors with 59).Trefor has been better on the road (17-14) than at home (12-15). They've won with respectable pitching (4.15 ERA, 11th) and excellent glove work (23 errors, 3rd fewest) despite limited offensive production (6th fewest runs and 6th worst batting average). The Leftovers have stayed suprisingly competitive. They have a winning record at Comerica (15-13). Their bullpen's league leading 8 blown saves have kept them below .500. A very average club across the board statistically, they do know how to lay down a bunt. Their 35 sacrifices are 10 better than the next closest team.Colome and Dragons, Arks, and Lebron have been very bad. DA&L have scored the fewest and given up the most runs in the league. Colome has the 4th fewest runs and gives up the 3rd most.

Don't know how but I managed to sweep UCONN and Pump in back to back series at home. To bad I'm getting "Larried" starting in todays first PM matchup :(

Is getting "Larried" like getting "Jackhammered"...if so Nipsey says count him in.

***OFFICIAL*** FFA MLB Draft, We have chosen to ignore Koya. And LarryI just noticed this, .Damn you're tough to beat at Fenway IWKS. Those losses hurt. 2 one run losses and a 6-3 beating. Wasn't expecting to go in their and win a series, but figured we'd get out of town 1-2.

Not sure how I'm doing it, like your post says above, my numbers aren't that good. Somehow I'm doing it with smoke and mirrors. One thing may be that I didn't put up the numbers most seem to against the dummy teams(15+ runs). I had one game where I scored 19 but other than that below 15 and a couple below 10.

I had that thought as well. The only numbers that count are wins and losses. I know you've been damn good against me.

Dan Plesac lost my last game to Spartans all by himself.Al Leiter was cruising, having thrown only 66 pitches through six innings, and the Voodoo hanging on to a 4-2 lead. Then the sim pinch hits for Leiter in the seventh (WTF?). Rob Dibble comes in the bottom of the seventh, and gets three quick outs. Then the sim pinch hits for Dibble ( :hot: ), requiring Plesac to come in for the bottom of the eighth.Uh oh.Plesac gives up 4 runs, and gets the loss. :wall:
