I'm tired of this. ####### Eckersley can't save a game. Next league I'm sim fishing and doing what the site says. EVERY TIME Eck comes in with a lead, he blows it. Yet guys like Paul "I'm illegal" Quantrill shut people down at will. Silly.

Yeah. It's rare, but it does happen. A lot of the speedy slap hitters will do it with reasonable frequency, but to see Berger with a .600 SLG doing it.. well that's just odd.I should point out that my team has a terrible overall AVG, but the OBP numbers aren't so bad. Darrell Evans stinks in this thing, but his OBP number is like 130 points higher than his AVG, so he at least gets on base now and then.

How does BA end up higher than OBP?

Actually, I was thinking of SLG vs. AVG. Sorry.With respect to OBP vs. AVG, you can have a higher AVG if you have almost no walks, never get hit by a pitch, and have some sac flies. It's extremely hard to pull off, but you can do it.
