At least now we know who has the best team within our division. (standings mean nothing because y'all only played dummy teams and I haven't.)

Looking at his stats for that season they aren't that great. 1.3 WHIP .246 OAV, wonder why he is so dominant(even with the innings glitch)?Amusing thread re: sim-fishing, on the WIS.com forum.

Nice run of division games for me. Swept Dragons, Arks, and Lebron without using any of my regular starters the last two games (and those wins aren't a given, ask Spock), took 2 of 3 from Spock at my place, and went to Koya's place and took 2 of 3 from him (really should have been a sweep). 5 behind Spock and only 1 behind Koya. 2 behind Pumpnicks in a very tight wild-card race.

They would be a given if the dummy teams weren't stating 17-10 and 19-10 pitchers... let alone pitchers we drafted. Nipsey will get my vote for commish if Capella doesn't get this fixed.

I don't think he's that dominant - they said he has a 3.17 era. However, the problem is that he's able to spend all of the rest of his money on hitters since this guy pitches every game.Looking at his stats for that season they aren't that great. 1.3 WHIP .246 OAV, wonder why he is so dominant(even with the innings glitch)?Amusing thread re: sim-fishing, on the WIS.com forum.

That's a good point and the main reason I didn't sim-fish. We had unlimited funds and the ability to draft quality staffs top to bottom. You can't do that in say an 80M sal cap league. The only advantage you got from getting one of these guys is being able to wait longer on the rest of your pitchers (and have a better chance of drafting good position players in earlier rounds) than people who were trying to build complete staffs.I don't think he's that dominant - they said he has a 3.17 era. hopefully the next one doesn't use WIS's salary system as its deciding factor in what year we get for each player...Win shares would work... as would tons of other things...
but using thier system screwed things up...

You in for the Auction if we get it going Cappy? I'm proboably gonna try to pool in w/ a UCONN group if at all possible, but if not wouldn't mind getting in w/ some guys from here if it ends up big enough. If it stays small would just go in on my own, but I think it could get big enough to make forming a "wallet" worthwhile. I'm sure a few of us could put our heads together and find some value.
