*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (8 Viewers)

You're an idiot. Let me set you straight tool. The Cubs have lost all of FOUR series in the ENTIRE second half. FOUR. I'm not sure if you
know what a series is, it's a group of games against a team, usually 3 in length, sometimes 4. They lost FOUR the entire second half. They
played most of the year either WITHOUT their MVP 3B or when he did play he's been hurt and has had little power. Nearly the ENTIRE
season. They haven't had their closer the last 3+ months of the season. Their stud SP acquisition has missed, in ESSENCE the entire
season. And they are an disgrace. First off, I've forgotten more about baseball than you'll EVER know, and that's not even up for argument.
You're no different than any of the clowns at ESPN that say idiotic things looking for a reaction when in reality you don't know ####. I take that back.
You know the NBA. Stick in your lane chump and maybe learn something before you speak. The Brewers are probably the best team in the
NL right now. There's no disgrace in losing the division to them. Yelich is the hottest hitter in ALL of baseball. We aren't the first team to not be
able to get him out. We just finished going I believe 41 days without having a day off. Maybe pay attention before speaking out of your ###.
Bro. We've been in 1st place since the Allstar Break and coughed up  the division at the last moment possible.

I am a Cubs fan. I am allowed to be pissed off and ridicule this team. That's the entitlement I get for living in the Chicagoland area for 24 years.

If you ridicule this team then you're just like all the other little millenials that don't know #### because they don't get their way right now they have a little
piss fit. Joe got more out of this team than any other manager would have. The end.

Again, I'm a Cubs fan. I can say whatever the hell I want about this team. If I wasn't a fan, I wouldn't care enough to comment on them.

Up until about an hour ago, I thought they were going to the World Series.

Again, showing you clearly live in the moment. If you watched as much baseball as you profess, hard to believe that anything other than
absolute FATE gets this team a WS championship.

The National League is weak af. You give the Cubs home field advantage and they run through it.

Now, there is zero home field advantage the entire way though.

Brewers aren't close to weak. Probably 3rd best team in baseball. Dodgers have a ton of talent, have underachieved,
Rockies have been as hot as anyone not named Milwaukee. You clearly don't pay very close attention.

God what a bunch of morons in this thread. At least I won $. Twice. Hope you guys were at least smart enough to tail me.

Gutless. lol. I'm assuming you're just trying to poke me, which is fine, I didn't anticipate we'd go far this year. Doesn't make
me any happier.

Good job on 2-0. Seems like you're feeling it today, feel like taking your fan card away for betting against the Cubs mid-game.

But you nailed it. So good job. Hope you get some Rockies at plus money. Although since neither pitcher has given up more than 2ER playing in Los Angeles this year, who knows...

I'd rather win money than avoid betting against my teams. Although watching me continue to bet Nebraska every week you wouldn't know it.

I'm sorry man I'm just kidding around

At that point, either Cubs win division or you win money. So essentially a win-win.

I didn't wake up early enough to give any action. No clue what I would have played. Not a big fan of betting on the post-season of any sport. The entire dynamic changes.

This was essentially a playoff game.

I will say this, depending on odds, Brewers are a good WS bet. Unless you get to their starters early, they are going a long way and causing teams a lot of trouble.

Per VSiN, MNF games featuring a team going into their bye week over/under 37-12 since 1997, 75%.  Redskins/Saints over 52.5.

Early on, Demaryius Thomas U24.5 for longest reception looks interesting. Case Keenum has only thrown 4 passes that distance this year (none of them Demaryius Thomas).

The other appeal is that at this stage in his career, Demaryius Thomas is a screen pass - slant guy. I mean, he's always been that but he's not seeing many shots down field so you're betting on whether or not he'll bust a 25+ yard screen pass.

Which would have gone 3-0 so far and is as good of a -110 bet as you're going to find, imo.

Looks like the gravy train at betonline is slowing down.  I just bet a player prop under their old system (not the player props section) and as soon as the bet was confirmed they pulled the line OTB.  This explains why cfb player props have been disappearing on Saturdays, they're essentially taking one bet and pulling lines.

Are they re-opening them later?

It didn't count because of a holding call last game, but it did happen:

(4:47 - 3rd) (Shotgun) C.Keenum pass deep middle to De.Thomas to BLT 11 for 39 yards (E.Weddle). PENALTY on DEN-G.Bolles, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at 50 - No Play.

Also, "Kansas City has allowed a league-high 17 completions of 20-plus yards."  (Silva, 2018)

Both r+r are still there only ones that have been there all day

Interesting, but still gonna lock that mother####er in.

Demaryius Thomas (DEN) Longest Reception - No Recept Under Wins, U24.5, -115

I think the altitude and Denver pass rush will slow down the Chiefs entire team (was considering U30.5 Chiefs TT but not my hill to die on).

Or rather, I don't think Denver is going to be reeling to the point where they have to start launching bombs. If I had more balls, I might take Denver ML but it's hard to bet against a team that's undefeated.

I'd need Denver at +250 or better to consider taking them.

Thanks man. What'd you do non-gambling? We're looking to change things up a bit this year.
Moped tour of red rock. Dinner at hell’s kitchen. I got a massage. Went to the pool for a bit. Went to both carrot top and fantasy at Luxor (both pretty good I thought). We were here 4 full days basically so it helps on the non-football days to do other stuff for sure.

Nothing yet.  If I can get a 5 or less I''ll take it, 5.5 I'll pass.  Also like Maholmes under 295'ish on Monday night (that's what I've heard it's been/will be posted).  Just don't see it being a shoot out nor KC having to play a bunch of catch-up.  Plus Denver's D is decent, certainly better than the 3 he's played so far imo.
Played this for tonight.

Locked in a few CFB games trying to beat the lines. One I was already clearly wrong on.

CU -2 1/2
A&M -6 (now 5 1/2)
BYU -2 1/2
NW +11 1/2
I also locked in A&M.  The one other game I locked in was SDSU +14.5.

the one game I didn’t lock in, thankfully, was Wisconsin -21.5...... now it’s -20.   Still like em but no reason to lock it on.

@gussy

It's likely Kershaw vs Lester tomorrow, right? Poor Cubbies.

ETA, according to this article Kershaw has never started off 2 days rest. But he will be available from the bullpen. Has a sub 3.0 ERA in post-season relief appearances.

Hopefully the wind is blowing out to center field and we get a good old fashioned Wrigley Field home run derby to end the season.
