I got a sabermetric breakdown saying Astros should be -120 I'll join on them on +114 w you. Going against some other stuff I found on my own too, but I'm in.

 
What if they took the picture for your rookie card on Mother's Day. They just happened to take the picture that day. A picture of you holding a pink bat. And then later on you get inducted into the hall of fame holding a pink bat on your rookie card for all eternity.

It depends on what brand it was. I don't know what they are making today but I wouldn't want it for my Topps, Donruss, or Bowman. Those crappy Score cards they made in 88 and 89 could have been me with a pink bat sitting on the toilet.

You could just act like a grown-up and dismiss the puerile notion that there's something "wrong" or "feminine" with the color pink?

 
Leaning towards the under 3.5 in Chelsea Watford.  

Match means nothing for either squad. Chelsea clinched title and  probably resting folks for FA cup final. Watford is staying up. Both teams played Friday.

A 9.5 graded bowman Bryce Harper numbered to 50 recently sold for 15k.  Not the same hobby I grew up collecting.  Where's Billy Ripkens bat knob when you need it.

That pissed me off so bad when they started all this grading BS. I put my cards in pages and plastic cases. It's a shame kids today don't even know that a baseball card is.

I tried to get my kids to collect cards.

The cheapest pack was Topps Opening Day.
2.99/pack
7 or 8 cards a pack.
Set has only like 200 cards so she is asking for her favorite player...and I'm telling her he's probably on the next series.
Anyhow....after about $300 worth of spending on packs from time to time, we were about 1/3 of the way to finish the set.
I'm out
My daughter enjoys it more my son is meh

So I got my daughter the sticker book.
1.99 for the book and .99 for each pack.
So far it's been fun.

Baseball cards we're our form of internet.
That was 1 good way to see and learn about players you wouldn't normally hear about or see on TV.

Oh gosh, I can see why you don't get the whole Donald Trump thing now GPJ.

Pink is for girls. Girls don't play baseball. You want your rookie card to look cool! There's nothing wrong with pink, it's just not exactly masculine... and the sport itself is robust with testosterone.

Mia -105, line seems fishy, but then i realized Houston played last night ,a double header yesterday and then flew to Mia. Took a small shot on Strailey.

This is an obvious trap, but the 3rd most runs scored going against the 26th ranked team era and 2nd worst bullpen, I'll fall for the Brewers O3.5 -105.

My first pack was 86 Topps and it had the Pete Rose 85 record breaker in it. I still have that card as wells as the 10,000 I continued to collect until about 1994. They may not be be worth the cardboard they are printed on but they're real to me damnit!!!!

ETA - those were $.50 a pack and I remember hating it when Upper Deck came out and they were $1.29

There's a distaste for the team while current ownership is in place.

When JeterGroup takes over there'll be twice as many tens of people in the stands.

Perdomo has gone 4 straight starts without allowing more than 3ER, including at Texas and against Colorado.

 
#### this series, I haven't won anything significant in nearly a week which means I've just been bleeding money day after day. Which means I'm angry...

I have like.... zero things in my office.
So i have 2 baseball cards of my kids.
I bought a 32 card display and have their 2 cards in the center and have been buying all the cards I had as a kid.
The ones I had...and the ones I never could afford

Mattingly, Strawberry, Puckett Ripken rookies etc...
Even went old school and picked up a WIlliams, Rose, Mantle, Aaron etc...not rookies but cards I never could touch as a kid.

I dont care about condition now so I go out looking for cards with creases and stuff.
Having a drink and smoke in the yard, Will uplaoad a pic when I go in but it's been pretty fun.

ETA

I bought an 84 Topps rack pack.
I'll let yall know if i pull a Mattingly or strawberry when it comes in the mail.

Man... 86 Topps has to be the worst set ever.
Vince Coleman, Lenny Dykstra and Cecil Fielder were the best rookies

 
87 Fleer was where it was at. And 84 Topps Traded. I also have hundreds of Shaq rookie cards that are probably worth nothing.

 
I have been riding Juventus all year long and resisted the urge to take them a + on SUN
I think they complete the trifecta this year.
Series A with another pt in their last 2 games, Copa Italia on WED and Champions League on what will basically be 2 weeks rest assuming they clinch this weekend.

They are lined at -110 for WED in the Copa Italia.
This was originally slated to be held on June 3rd but moved up due to Juventus reaching the CL final.

Juv won both matches in the regular season 2-0 and 1-0
Lazio had a fine season and can not move past 4th. This is their superbowl if you will and should put a solid effort on WED but I have a hard time passing on Juventus at a mere -110 to win. I think this ends up 1 or 2-0 in favor of Juventus.
