*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (8 Viewers)

might back the Jets just based on the 18 penalties Browns committed sdql

I didn't see the game but how do you clean that up in one week.

ETA jesus christ Darnold out with mono
Yeah I went multi unit Browns -6.5, I don't think it will last and it will go up. Ok being wrong here. Jets injuries on both sides of the ball.

I appreciate you guys making me feel important once a year, but last year was our first losing week in like 9 years. Which bodes well but discouraged me. It's also been a rough year: divorce, was in a coma for 2 days due to low blood sugar, and bought an apartment on the Vegas strip to live in 50% of the time all while Sports Gambling was legalized in the state I already live in (Rhode Island) soon after I moved in.

That said, I've been cracking the lines and will post a write up for sure by tomorrows kick off (earlier if tomorrows kick off is in my plays)

ETA: right now I'm zoning in on Indy, Arizona, Miami 2x bet, Pittsburgh, Denver and Kansas City
The raccoon bit you didn't it?

Seriously hope all is well GB. Hang tough

Already moved 2.5 points and you may be holding  ticket that’s more 50/50 than sharp if it breaks wrong..... but they said they aren’t going to change the start time of UCF and this tropical storm looks like it’s headed their way.  Should be 15-25 mph at the start and going up from there.

It’s getting to the point where my 11 year old nephew can call better plays on Madden than actual NFL coordinators.
With this, is there anything to the fact that your nephew calls 30 plays every 15 minutes while NFL coordinators only call 30 plays once a week?

All i'm saying is that they can take that Domingo German getting a win from the bullpen mess and bring it out for the pigs to eat.  Or pile it up and present it like the horse #### that it is.

yikes bud, hope things are on the right side for you now.

Glad to see you back to post these though, like that Arizona and Pitt quite a bit. Love to see you leaning Denver too because i was high on them in this one, but it seems everyone and their mother is on Chicago. But you have to love a former defensive cooridnator going against his former team, and that offense can not look that anemic again. Waited to long in that game to start playing.

What do you guys think about the Colorado / Air Force game?  Need some help here.
I bet Colorado -3 (bought half).  Several sharper guys in the media are all over Air Force - coming off a bye week, Colorado giant let down spot.  I'm a notorious mush.  You now know what to do.

On the ESPN daily wagering show yesterday I heard a quote that it's a "somebody knows something" type of line. Something about how Colorado is "still celebrating" and that they put all their summer practices into winning the previous game. So no prep for Air Force's offense, which can be problematic..? I think. I have no idea what any of that means (not really into college football yet this season) but that's what they said. You know something don't you. That's it. That's what it is.

I have a strong feeling I'm on the wrong side, because of stuff like this.  So I KNOW that I if it gets back to 4 I might just double down on the Falcs.

Air Force has had two weeks to prepare.  Meanwhile, the Republic of Boulder just got off two rivalry games.  The Air Force option they run is a ##### to defend.  Their O/U win total was 8 this year, supposed to be good, returning a lot of starters.  CU was outgained by CSU and got lucky against Nebraska; they are not as good as that record might indicate.  I could be wrong, obviously, but that is a good line on a game Air Force can’t wait for.  I’m going money-line, too.

5dimes HS football St Joes Prep +14 on ESPN. My HS so got this at +17 earlier. Hosting IMG at their home field not neutral site. Lots of Power 5 recruits and commits, outside of bias just too many points IMO.

Nice, I have St Joes' qb on my preps fantasy football team.

Civale and Odorizzi are facing off in consecutive starts. They started against each other on Saturday. It's the first time Civale is doing that, while Odorizzi has successful experience in that situation. Twins are also 11-2 this season after two consecutive losses.

Twins -107

Ha.

Didnt they just beat 8th rank team in the country last friday in piscataway or something?

3rd straight game against a top 10 nationally ranked team, right?

Guy I work with has coaching ties there. He texted me earlier as a reminder they were on espn2

ETA

Just saw this game is at Rutgers.  Might run over for the 2H

@Binky The Doormat can also ask about props in here
Thanks Dan - I was looking for this thread.  I am not a big gambler, though I do gamble with my friends but have done little gambling online.

I was considering getting started online with player props and was looking for some of the better sites you guys use for NFL player props.  Dan mentioned Bovada, sportsbook.ag and 5 Dimes.

That game had me sweating bullets from just a wanting my school to win perspective. Prep hung in there and covered, but IMG was so, so fast and nasty on the lines. Miss a tackle, gone. Give a lane at all on a kick, gone. D back play for IMG was like nothing I've ever seen at that level. I'm shocked it wasn't closer on the spread, the Prep was good in spots. Just impossible to overcome the onslaught from a national school geared around sports. Fun watch to see your HS on ESPN, happy for anyone that tailed.

Yeah I found out at kick they moved to Rutgers, that was an oversight. They play at Widener U, but Widener had an event and needed them to start at 8. ESPN said 7 PM or we're out, so it got moved. Yeah blew a lead on the road at Marietta, GA week 1 and lost a close one and won last weekend. I saw +17 and bet it immediately. Jeremiah Trotter's kid is a Clemson commit, DT who had a really great game and looked the part of a future starter. Kyle McCord the QB had a bad night but is an Ohio State commit. Marvin Harrison Jr is a WR who woke up in the 2H and had some nice catches, he's been linked to OSU but not a commit. He needs to get bigger but has the size and talent for power 5 ball. It's crazy, my school was nowhere near this level when I went there. Temple coordinator Gabe Infante built the program into a national competitor, it's insane to experience for me and see them on national TV. Andy Reid and Marty Morhningwheg's kids played there when they were in Philly, just hard to comprehend.

Speaking of Temple, +7 vs MD and NC State -7 at 12. Going to scour the board in the AM, but   Hawaii UW o58.5 later too.

Plays for today:

Temple +6.5 1u

NCST -7 2u

Louisville -10.5 1u

Sparty -16 1u

Haw/UW o59 1u

.25u parlay with left over 5D funds for fun:

tOSU -17, NCST -7, Temple +7, Cincy -17, PSU -17, UGA -32.5, ND -34, Army -17

I see you too are now acquainted with my buddy Rotund Ralph Michaels.  He often has some great nuggets.

Also a lot of this stuff supports Bender's Week 2 philosophy.

INDIANA +17½-110
TEMPLE +6½-120
PITTSBURGH U +17-110
EASTERN MICHIGAN +7½-110

AIRFORCE +3.5
UTSA +17-115
BYU +4-110
MICHIGAN ST -15.5

TOTAL O59-115 (HAWAII VRS WASHINGTON U)
UCLA +22½-110

Played all these small #degenerate

Corso is going to pick Iowa State.  He's almost always wrong.  Screwing those of us on Cyclones money line.  Sigh.

If the Dolphins were to beat the Patriots tomorrow, I don't think it would be a bigger upset than Norwich beating Man City today.
