Gulfstream kills me.   I've been pretty ok at Oaklawn.   Australian tracks are fun, but I'm just learning it.   Half the horses aren't trying to win in any given race.

I used to do really well in Australia. Lots of free resources out there, but I’m just not aligned with them time wise right now. You can make a killing on exactas there because the odds are pretty meaningless most of the time.

I got secretariat at +110 at a local, down to -130 now. One unit on computer horses is the limit for me.

If you are watching on tv or tvg.com you can see current odds.  Morning line means nothing.  I say this as a complete ignoramus newb.

Just for future reference if you bet horses with a legit outfit (TwinSpires, TVG, Xpressbet, etc) you get whatever odds the horse goes off at.  So if you bet him 10-1 and he goes off 2-1 you get 2-1 if he wins

if you’re betting offshore you get whatever they had posted at the time you bet it, so If you bet 10-1 (+1000) and he goes off 2-1 (+200) you’re still getting +1000

i think the Horses sections of Bov, SB.ag, 5d, are still parimutuel.  The main sports book horse sections are straight bets at that price.  I THINK.
