Garbage thread to start with a No-No going, also to praise a kid who hasnt been the most dominant in his league (Verlander) is funny. Reminder, Verlander already thru one, almost 2. Although Pineda is good, he aint even the best pitcher on his team. Ever heard of King Felix, k, my points made.

What in the hell are you babbling about? We really shouldn't be praising the kid for his performance because he isn't the best pitcher in the league?And Pineda has out pitched the supposed King in Seattle this season.Better W/L, better ERA, better WHIP, better K/9. Only thing Felix has done better is eat innings and that's only because they are being careful with the kid in his first full season.Last, but not least... If I knew RN had the power to control what happens within baseball, by the power his posted word alone, I would have started listening to him a long time ago. Hell! I probably would have even called in a favor or two.

So #1, I never said Verlander was the best of all time, I just said he is the best this year. So if i need to point out how dumb the comparison is, let me just say...wow.
#2. People are giving Pineda the love, as they should because he is good. But let me shine a little reality to how little your knowledge is in baseball and how you are prisoners of the moment.
One a reference to Pineda being an ace is laughable...He is on the same team as the current Cy Young winner.
Felix has as many wins, more Ks, and just as good numbers acrss the board.
Verlanders stats shame everyone elses, he is tied for the league lead in wins, has the league lead in Ks, has a 2.54 ERA which is good for fourth in the league. People are not able to hit off him with a .181 avg.
So your argument, is pointless.
Oh...Verlander threw a No-No which you speak of in this thread, which your boy Pineda did not...not to mention took one into the eigth the other night.
I think Pineda is a good young pitcher for what its worth, infact I have him on my team, but to say he is better than Verlander....well, I'm still laughing.
