Shame Clowney is inactive - he can stretch the field when used properly.

Yeah, I would have liked to have seen him, too. With the DB injuries last week, looks like Rex wanted Donald Strickland up over Clowney.

For those who haven't seen much of the Jets this year, I'll preemptively let you know:

This game will be boring.

Jets will run, run and run, and I don't think we'll see many long drives by SD, either (Jets lead the league in 3 and outs). Of course, a boring close game is a lot better than the craptasticness we've been given so far this weekend.

Watching the ageless Thomas Jones and Shonn Greene run isn't boring at all.

For non-Jets fans, it is. But yeah, watching Mangold/Moore/Faneca and Jones/Greene is not boring to me, either.

I think just a close game would make most football fans happy right now (the ones that don't care about the outcome).

San Diego is the better team on paper and with them both at home and on an 11-game winning streak, it's hard not to like them.

That said, the Jets can make this a game. I still think it is SD 23, Jets 17, but I would not be suprised to see New York get after Rivers and try and force turnovers early.

The Jets at +300 is no respect for a team with 3 wins in a row and a team built to travel well.

This game is San Diego's to lose, but the Jets have the defense and ground game to make it happen.

Here's to a game that is closer than two scores for a change.

Crazy call here - Braylon Edwards will get open deep and ACTUALLY catch a long bomb.

Stranger things have happened.

(tempted to go even stranger and say it is from Brad Smith, but that's a bit much)

Delay of game on the first drive?

Jets bringing the pressure so far.

Revis hasn't been on Jackson on more than one play yet; been focused on Gates on most plays (but not the one he caught)

Minus the nice punt, that's the best start the Jets could hope for. One free possession now, as they've got the ball to start the second half and have the ball in normal field position here.

Ground and pound time. Maybe one bomb to Edwards.

I expected Revis to be moved around more than usual. I think it will depend on down and situation.

I'm wondering whether they shift to Greene early on. I just see something different with him in there compared to when Jones has been in. Dunno if it's fresh legs or what.
