Bash Brothers baby!

It looks like GearsII will have a bunch of new gameplay mechanics, including the rendering of over 100 characters on screen simultaneously.

Check out the tech demonstration in the 2nd flash video. :shock:

I've not been very excited about this game because I was expecting little more than a watered-down rehash, but the potential of these new developments is RIDICULOUS.

 
Was talking to a guy at work here. His BIL was with Epic when they had 20ish employees. It was getting tight for them leading up to gears and they signed over lots of the profit to the employees just to keep the company going. His take from GOW alone was 7 million.

very cool looking stuff, and I'm sure I'll be in. (even though i blew at the first game and haven't played in a very long time)

 
What is the online site people on here pre-order from that sends the games a few days earlier. IRC, a few people had Halo a few days before it came out.

I really hated playing against you. If I decide to pick up a 360 and GOW2, I'm going to love ripping your arm off and beating you to death with it (at least, I think that's one one of the new special kills).
