Bah.. Lynch can not be stopped and keeps GB's offense off the field. When they do stop him, Wilson picks up short easy throws for first downs. Rodgers gets hit early and often and loses his cool. By the end of the game he is so frazzled that he tries to fight Sherman and gets knocked the #### out!!!
Smart ###Right now the Packers defense is better. They have better corners, the best pass rushers in the NFL and the addition of future HOFer Julius Peppers. Clay Matthews is playing as good as any pass rusher in the league TODAY. Seattle's timing will be off with the speed of the Packers corners. 37-21If Seattle gets decent pressure on Rodgers then it's Seattle win.
Hawks offence, at this point right now, better than Packers. Lynch has been disrespected all offseason and has come in the best shape of his career. Harvin the the undeniable difference maker. Wilson is playing as good as any QB in the league TODAY.
Packers timing will be off with the speed of Seattle's back end.
37-21
where's this guy been hiding?Don't waste your time with him. He disappeared for about 6 months like a baby after the Seahawks got bounced in the playoffs in 2012 after spouting off the whole season. He wouldn't man-up then, so I wouldn't expect him to man-up if they lost next week.Does ImTheScientist want to put his money where his mouth is at? I will put $100 on the Packers side of the Vegas line.
Honestly, ITS told me in a private message it was going to be 37-17.Typical that all the pack fans talking trash vanish when I'm right. It's cool ...they know what's up now,Hawks by 20 like I said! Who looks silly now?Hawks by 20.![]()

You do realize anyone can be a fan of any team they like? You are not getting ahead in life just because you arbitrarily root for the Seahawks. If your fan base had any appreciation for the history of the game you would enjoy what will be a short lived ride in the grand scheme of things. Also that apathetic vibe you felt is just due to being surrounded by folks from Seattle. It's in your nature. So I'm walking out of the stadium tonight and one of the most interesting things was this: apathy. No Seahawks fan really cared we beat the Packers, everyone just expected it. I asked the Packers fan walking out the door with me why nobody (except me) was really giving him any ####, and he thought it was because we respected the Packers.
Uh, wrong.
Nobody said anything because only Packers fans thought this was going to be a real game.
No, the Seahawks certainly don't respect anyone. That's why nobody can stand them. I think the new school fans of the Seahawk (face it most are bandwagon jumpers) kind of rub people who have been rooting for their team since 1980 the wrong way. Your post is a great example of everything wrong with your fan base. You act like your team (well you actually think you are part of the team) is so good that nobody can compete with you. Then you go get in another fan's face simply because nobody else was. Then you openly disrepect him. Classy. So I'm walking out of the stadium tonight and one of the most interesting things was this: apathy. No Seahawks fan really cared we beat the Packers, everyone just expected it. Now pick the exact score differential next week, do it for more than just your team that you have a large bias for when picking scores.Typical that all the pack fans talking trash vanish when I'm right. Yeah, this thread has been really classy on your side. You really think I care? That whole post was me saying I don't care about your team. No, I don't respect you and I won't respect anyone coming at the Seahawks like you tried to. Good luck the reason of the season and I certainly hope we meet in the playoffs.
You probably forgot to consider the 12's.Ahem..... shouldn't have been as generous to the Packers but close enough. You know who's a Badger? Russell "Why not us" Wilson! Join the dark side!I'm going to try to black out until Thursday immeditaely following (hopefully not before) the Badger game Saturday and just wake up for gametime Thursday night. The excitement is reaching unbearable levels.
It's going to be an exciting week for Wisconsinites starting Saturday night!!
Go Bucky and GO PACK GOOOO!
Seahawks win 38-24
I don't think its fair to throw a blanket over both of these guys.First off, Sho Nuff, Sabertooth - you guys are classic examples of why Seahawk fans feel the need to over exert their exuberance for their team.
I tend to agree with you actually but I don't think this is anything new - nor a Seattle thing nor a Seahawk thing - it's just how we are today in sports, politics, etc... The part that I don't agree with though is that most long time Seahawk fans DO respect the game and other franchises around the NFL (well maybe not the 49ers). You're judging based on a small minority, that based on where you're encountering them (the internet) - happen to be the ones that are most likely to be most obnoxious. No, the Seahawks certainly don't respect anyone. fair enough, but I said I would be the first one on here if Seattle loses…and the fact is, it's the muted backhanded remarks that tick off fans. This is a fantasy site, and their comments in those forums I respect - in a game vs real fans teams - well, I take exception to the blanket comments about fan bases. I think people don't like a winner in general - especially brash team like Seattle. Muhammad Ali was polarizing when he fought, now he's beloved. Bottom line, get over the fact Seattle is in it's glory period…some teams have them. Human nature to try and stamp down on it when it's not your own.I don't think its fair to throw a blanket over both of these guys.First off, Sho Nuff, Sabertooth - you guys are classic examples of why Seahawk fans feel the need to over exert their exuberance for their team.
Sabertool is that almost exclusively. Not always, but a lot. I saw he posted a couple of times saying that Seattle outplayed and outcoached the Packers. He's not blindly indignant.
Sho Nuff will take the time to offer thoughtful commentary and analysis. If you're cool with him he'll be cool with you.
Agreed. There was a girl on local sports talk yesterday here in Nashville. She will be doing the entertainment portion of Thursday night games. She is orginally from Seattle and it humble and grateful at the same time. True Seattle people have had years of scorning and to be defending champions are happy and humble.I tend to agree with you actually but I don't think this is anything new - nor a Seattle thing nor a Seahawk thing - it's just how we are today in sports, politics, etc... Excuse me...can you please link to my posts of where I was smug or indifferent?First off, Sho Nuff, Sabertooth - you guys are classic examples of why Seahawk fans feel the need to over exert their exuberance for their team. Talk about smug?! You act indifferent so you can cover yourselves when the team gets blown out like they did. I simply state some pre game facts as I saw them based on what I saw in camp and preseason, accurately btw. And childish remarks and general slamming of fan bases is all I hear. Classy. If you don't like confident teams or fans then troll somewhere else.
Dude. Not that big of deal. If you were the one that makes them exert their exuberance, then they have other problems in their lives to deal with. It was a good game. The Packers lost. Losing Baluga is our biggest concern because they didn't have a stand up backup to fill in. I'll give Ha Ha a pass because of first game as a rookie, but his tackling abilities sucked. Defense is not fixed. Even with the healthy and upgrades, they seemed out of place. I was giving the DC a pass because of injuries last year, but it really looked like Capers didn't have a clue on what protection to call. I'm not a coach or could do better, but there were a couple of plays where I shook my head.Excuse me...can you please link to my posts of where I was smug or indifferent?First off, Sho Nuff, Sabertooth - you guys are classic examples of why Seahawk fans feel the need to over exert their exuberance for their team. Sherman only playing on one side of the ball will be exploited like last night. Packers put the scrub on that side of the field.Hard to find something bad to say about the football team, so talk trash about the fans?
I admit, the Seahawks are much better at playing football than the fans are at rooting for them.

Side note. The walk around defense. Did they show that during preseason? Because I missed it. It worked out for the single play they ran it on, but is that something in the future or just a gimic?
Good for you for not watching the game and only go through box scores. May the force be with you.Lacy ran well? He didn't even get 3 YPC.

Manning and Rodgers tried the same strategy the last two games of putting a weaker WR on Sherman and trying to exploit the other side. Packers D pretty much sucked, but that doesn't make your team great. We were just outmatched. Packers remind me of the old Peyton Colts teams..no defense, but as long as offense can outscore, then we win. Packers didn't outscore, but not putting Hawks as greatest team ever either.

Yes, I agree. The Packers were outmatched. I don't think it will be the last time that happens to a Seahawks opponent this year.

The majority of Seattle fans have made it clear they don't respect him. We've attempted to do our part in calling him out. I can link to many posts where I've done exactly that.
