Crazy idea.....let's get back to talking about what should be a really good game instead of having a circle jerk about how great the "12th man" is or isnt.
I saw someone mention earlier that they expected a high scoring game. I hope it's high scoring since I have Wilson and Jordy going tonight (I share b/c you care) but I'm not so sure. The over/under is 46 and the under is 5-0 in Seattle's last 5 home games.
I think it's an interesting matchup of the two best know quantities- Seattle D vs GB Offense and two more unknowns---How much Seattle's offense will really open up with a healthy Harvin and in Wilson's 3rd year vs what many have talked about as an improved Packer D.
How do folks see these matchups playing out tonight?
Everyone knows about Seattle's D...what makes them really scary this year is it looks like the offense is poised to take it up a knotch with Harvin healthy and Wilson coming of age.
That said, I still think Seattle is likely to play ground and pound ball control without airing it out too much. It's not a matter of whether Wilson *can* do it...it's a matter if it's the right strategy. Ask yourself this: is it really the best game plan to get into a shootout vs. the Packers? Much better strategy to play good defense, control the clock, and limit Rodger's possessions.
That said, GB will get theirs as well. But I'm looking for a mid-range score, not high, with Seattle winning due to home field advantage and superior D. 20-17. I'll be rooting for the Packers, but my head says Hawks pull it out at home.
