You guys seriously spend over $100 on a pair of jeans?

Wow.

I won't go Wal-Mart jean cheap, but I'll usually get jeans from Old Navy, Gap, or American Eagle that range between $20 and $40.

Exactly...they are freakin jeans.Do we need "cool" jeans?

What makes them "cool"? Because some celebrity wears them?

I like my Old Navy jeans...because they fit right, are comfortable, and were pretty cheap. Who gives a damn what others think of them.

Sho-nuff I know nothing about you or how you're built. Go out and try on a good fitting pair of designer jeans...you'll notice the difference. I didn't think I'd think that way necessarily but after grabbing a pair or 2 there was clearly no going back. For the record I've never noticed what kind of Jeans celebrities wear. I had a pair of old navy Jeans....they are garbage.I was going to start this thread a month ago...I was anticipating some heat.

And, for the record, I was PM'd and asked to start this thread. The poster suggested that I might better weather the storm in response.BRING IT, #####ES.

I wear it because it is comfortable. Because I have been wearing it to games or on game days since 1993.And no, I don't think its cool to have a jersey with your own name on it. My own personal preference.

When he retires...that jersey retires. Probably get a Mandarich jersey just for fun.

To wear designer jeans, don't care what celebs wear.....

Big difference there too...no real difference in price between a jersey with Favre on the back and one with Sho Nuff on the back.

Like guys, girls in NYC want to see what they're buying. If you've going to a nice bar and you are decent shape there is absolutely no reason to wear baggy jeans. Yeah they're comfortable, but they also look like crap.

Here's an example. You can put on a sweet pair of jeans and a very basic t-shirt. The jeans hold everything together. They are the outfit and chicks with any fashion sense (which are the kind of chicks I try and meet) notice these things. Beats going out dressed like a guido.

By the way, I completely agree with this. You can wear a white t shirt and flip flops and 5 dollar sunglasses, and with a nice pair of jeans, you are still absolute money.

Why would I care about any difference. I am very comfortable in my Old Navy Jeans. I wear them basically only on Fridays and some weekends in the winter. I have about 3 pair and they have all been very durable.So what is the point of trying out new jeans...will the comfort be worth 2-3 times the price. Not to me...as I am very comfortable in mine....unless I can get a ####### built in...not worth it.

BS.If you're in a dim-litted bar trying to pick up a girl, your jeans are one of the LAST things she'll notice. She'll notice what you say (your game), your smile, your face in general, your body, your OVERALL style, and she'll be focusing more on your shirt than your jeans. And plus, no one tucks in their shirt these days. That covers up that much more of your fancy jeans.

XThe style of the jeans comes through regardless. And the second date may be a day hanging in the city. Your ####ty old navy jeans aren't going to help you when she goes into that second date somewhat on the fence.

I think it's ridiculous to pay over $100 for jeans I personally would never pay more than 40. I'm one of those guys that loves the Old navy jeans. I get a few different shades/washes, they fit great and last a long time. I'm of the opinion that it's not what you where, but how you where it. I couldn't care less about brand.Otis, I'd bet that if I tore the lables off of a few pairs of $35 jeans and $70 jeans, you'd barely be able to tell the difference. I generally know what's important.Again, I started the thread at someone else's request.However, I will say that I am clueless about all the brands being discussed here. I know a good pair of jeans when I see them and try them on, but I know nothing about brands.And I do know that I've tried many, many times to wear Gap and Old Navy jeans, and they've all been pretty awful.

Mavi's are great jeans and around $80 for most styles you can get two pair for the price of Diesels.While most guess jeans aren't to expensive, I did happen to buy a pair of their high end jeans at $150

Actually a VERY good posting. I hadn't noticed that. I was just looking at the wash/fit/fall from the front. I would never buy jeans with those pockets. Too girly.

Deisel, AG, Paper Denim, Seven and Jetlag. I actually own nothing but designer denim. With Paper Denim you have to weed through some jeans to find the gems. Seven is getting a bit played out but I think the thicker denim works well in the winter. Jetlag makes some jeans but are pretty pricey. True Religion? I've never bought them. I don't dig the pockets and I had a women at a store that sold them tell me to never buy them because they fall apart easy. AG's are made by Adriano Goldshmeid the original denim designer for Diesel. They are also made in the USA. The ones that are "on" are money. I spend a lot of kibbee on my Jeans but it pays out in dividends. Call me gay, call me whatever you'd like. The bottom line is they feel awesome, look great, accentuate the package, and hot chicks notice them. I would never go back.
