Even if that is all true, being a cold, cruel, unlikable jerk doesn't mean she would make for a bad President as the article mentioned at the end. I'm not really interested in holding my next potential President to the standard of being a great McDonald's employee.

I didn't post the links to evaluate her as a candidate for president.  For that, I'd suggest looking at how she's lied and cheated just over the last couple of years.  The links were just to confirm she's an uber ####.

She didn't like for military to wear their uniforms in the White House, instead wanted them to wear business suits.

-The GOP should just beat it to death, nobody can take her seriously about the military when she doesn't respect them.

-I'm afraid we will find Trump is not so nice to other types of folks in his walks of life.
It would be beyond idiotic for the GOP to attack her on that based off some anonymous former secret service remark. Especially with so many other credible things to choose from. Then again, with today's GOP I suppose we'll see this attack picking up steam soon enough.

I would agree with you if it were only that.  Steve Jobs was famously an ####### and still managed to do just fine as a corporate leader.  By itself, being a jerk isn't disqualifying from these sorts of positions.

It's more a piece of a broader tapestry,  Hillary thinks the rules don't apply to her, the system is just here to serve her personal interests, and people exist mainly for the purpose of doing her bidding and S'ingTFU otherwise.  It would be newsworthy and totally out of character if she didn't treat her Secret Service detail like dirt.

Since I gave Bernie all the credit yesterday, I have to say that the new Hillary Clinton ad that ran last night and this morning in Chicago is the best I've seen from either candidate.

Tim...."nuance" isn't using a bunch of words where a few will do.  I wish she'd have explained how on one hand she wants to significantly reduce methane gas and on the other support fracking.  I wish I'd have copied down her energy policies off her web page a couple weeks ago.  It's completely different today (just went looking for a quote from her I had seen a few days ago) than it was a couple weeks ago.  Looks like she's been busy promising a lot more stuff
no needd to explain....shes the female version of Trump

I am thinking Trump is the same asho as we see in public.

What a sh/t show this election is. Trump mocked POWs and faked an injury to get out the draft.

What time does her recently  daily "clarification" come out?

To the democratic base, just another thing they don't know or don't care about but this, but when she gets isolated in the general this is another thing to get a laser focus that she will justifiably get pounded on.

I think Big Hill swears by the George Costanza mantra of "it's not a lie if you believe it"...the lack of character and ethics she shows truly is impressive...

It's pretty clear from the context that she's referring to the effort to oust Qaddafi, not whether any Americans died inside the borders of a country during her entire stint as SoS.

Maybe instead of trying to play gotcha with Clinton by lifting her quotes out of context you champions of truth can set your sights on the presumptive GOP nominee who just two days ago threw the Chicago PD under the bus with a flat-out lie about whether he consulted with them before cancelling his rally and has yet to be held accountable by the media for doing so.

I was going to post "Are you watching the GOP?"

Clearly you are

In all honesty I think if both sides held their candidates/parties accountable we would be in much better shape...unfortunately there are far too many people willing to overlook anything "their team" does if it advances their agenda...

There's still primary candidate she's running against.

Do you think her attacks versus Bernie have taken his votes out of context?   To isolate part of a package and represent his vote "against" immigration or "against" the auto bill. And if so, can you not see her presumptive GOP candidate doing the same?

All that aside, affording you and her the benefit of the doubt regarding context, the body of your premise would have her touting Libya as an accomplishment of hers.  Would you agree with this?  My understanding is that Libya is worse off than before our intervention.

100% agree wich ya Smack! I understand Trump will get attacked but he already has been attacked hard just getting his own party to try and fall behind him(and they're not done attacking), doubt much that Clinton/Sanders will say is going to ruffle his feathers or sway folks over to vote for Hilary.

I think Clinton is going to have a rough go of it on stage. She is also not carrying a full tool belt for the job meaning she can't really play the typical "woman" role here. I doubt people are going to feel sorry for her getting pounded verbally by Trump. That's a major advantage for him vs other female politicians who are not thought of as almost pseudo-men like Hilary is. Nobody buys her going to home and giving a Bill a bj at night. The whole marriage is an arrangement at this point, they aren't in love, so obvious to everyone.

I actually think Trump is the only person from the GOP who could actually beat her, I don't believe the national polls that DNC loses to all but Trump...I can't see people voting for Marco Rubio over Clinton, ted Cruz either for that matter.

-Trump is for better or worse tapped into the actual pulse of this country much to the chagrin of the PC police who have made it all but illegal in this country to complain about anything and anyone, especially if you are god forbid...WHITE!

Yes, some of her attacks on Bernie have been unfair, including the two on the votes that you mention.  Which is why I didn't and wouldn't come to her defense when she's criticized for that.  But that's a totally separate issue.

I'm no Libya expert, I don't know if the overthrow of Qaddafi has benefited us or the citizens of Libya and the Middle East in the short or long haul.  I'm just saying that she should be allowed to defend the decision without her words being lifted out of context to make it look like she forgot or doesn't care about the embassy attacks. That's silly.

I think we'd be in much better shape not focusing too much on soundbite gotchas and gaffes. The ones that matter get blown way out of proportion and the ones that don't just waste everyone's time.

Leave the deaths at the mission/annex out of it for a moment. She talks about more than that. The whole eastern half of Libya is dominated by Isis and AQIM. What's she's really saying is, "Hey we accomplished everything we did in Iraq without the loss of blood and treasure, we completely disintegrated that country without all that, isn't that great?!?" Hillary's positions and policies on Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Syria are all consistent, she has never altered her policies or learned from her mistakes. Not only that but she does not even acknowledge them. Hillary actually turned Obama on Libya, she convinced him to intervene. This is who she is.

Again, you are affording a greater benefit of doubt that I.  And I'm a skeptic based on a 25 year record of being a gold medalist in the semantic Olympics.  She's an attorney and has a long record of mincing and parsing words and Holding those that oppose her to the same exacting standard.  So I'm circumspect that her words were an out of context oversight and not some deliberate deception.

Just this week, President Obama referred to the situation in Libya as a "$##+ show"

- This is legal?
So this is mildly interesting: I didn't understand why you think it wouldn't be legal, so I did a quick google search.  It turns out the states all have totally different laws about electioneering.  Your state puts the buffer zone at 600 feet, which is much further than any other state I saw in my 10 second review.  NC puts it at 25-50 feet.  link

Ha, ok, thanks, yeah here the politician - or his campaign - can't even be remotely close to the polling entrance.

Actually here it would be a good idea to keep the politicians 600 feet from everyone.

Story like that's gotta be true!
Yeah, both of those articles seem like nothing but hatchet jobs to me. That one quote stood out though. I hope it's not true. It sounds like a scene from Veep. I could totally see Julia Louise Dreyfus delivering that line.

It shouldn't be, imo. Same as Bill's tactics last month. I think candidates should be allowed to lobby as much as they want leading up to voting day, but the day of voting they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near polling stations. I really hope Bernie doesn't start following suit on this slimy nonsense.

So we have a nice start here boys.

Not sure if it will hold but that is a landslide in Florida.  Ohio will be uber important however.

I'll stay out of the Sanders thread out of respect, but this is a demolition job.  20-30 point wins in Florida, Ohio, NC ends the Democratic race.
