Cattle futures? How did Hillary get to own enough stock to wind up on their board?
I'm amazed she got federal funds for 9-11. No other politician could ever have secured funding after the worst attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. How did she do it?Hillary thanked George W. Bush today for defying other Republicans and giving New York City 20 million in federal funds after 9/11. She added, "I have no time for partisan politicians."
It was a mistake because she was found out and it caused her trouble. This post was literally the next post after someone directly quoted Hillary saying "it was a mistake".
Keep that narrative rolling, facts be damned!
What unfriendly legislation was not voted into law? What Walmart friendly legislation was voted into Arkansas state law or federal law as a direct consequence of the governors influence?
So the word careless needs to be uttered, and then everything is alright? It was a mistake because she was found out and it caused her trouble.
Pres. Obama said she was :"careless,", she won't even concede that.
It would at least be consistent with her own president and move past the 5 year old caught in the cookie jar level of regret. So the word careless needs to be uttered, and then everything is alright?
Agreed. A presidential candidate under federal investigation for things that have gotten other people imprisoned is an automatic disqualification. There really doesn't need to be much conversation after this.Hey remember that time there was a major nominee who had once been fingerprinted by the FBI?

Longtime lurker and strong liberal. I couldn't take Fraudulent Regressives like Tim and Koya patting themselves on the head while they support a candidate that butchered 250,000 Iraqi Muslims. So now Hillary is a mass murderer? And here I thought Vince Foster was a one time deal.Longtime lurker and strong liberal. Please cite how I'm wrong or I'll assume this is trolling. So now Hillary is a mass murderer? And here I thought Vince Foster was a one time deal.
Trump is better for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Women, and Unions then Hillary Clinton. I have done the research and it's all here. And a "strong liberal" who supports Donald Trump is, I dunno, kind of like a gay homophobe or a Jewish Nazi.
It's not worth responding to. Just repeats a lot of nonsense.proninja said:I think even timschochet might find that post a little overly verbose.

Time to pull a Chris Chrstie/Marco Rubio on you. Sorry I have to do this. It's not worth responding to. Just repeats a lot of nonsense.
They move the goalposts because they're afraid you'll start kicking the ball through and winning. Nasty people. But I thought everyone said Trump was a liberal? Is Trump a hardcore conservative now?
Trump is a real estate tycoon, a self promoter extraordinaire, and an celebrity. I doubt he spent much time thinking, reading, or discussing politics in any depth until this year, and as a result his political positions are inconsistent and sometimes contradictory. I think it's nonsense to label him a liberal or a hardcore conservative; the labeling seems like a standard attempt to discredit him and alienate the voters from him.But I thought everyone said Trump was a liberal? Is Trump a hardcore conservative now?
1. Liberal my ###. You are a Trump supporters. True liberals support Bernie.Liberal here.
So people who support Hillary...you do know your support for Hillary seems to echo a cult of personality movement, right? Not trolling here. I'll show my work.
Point 1: Campaign Slogan
It's not like "A Future to Believe In' like Bernie or "Make America Great Again" like Trump. It's about her.

Thanks bud.

Other notable women presidents in South America: Christina Fernandez Kirschner, former president of Argentina, likely had a state prosecutor killed the night before he was to indict her in an oil for hush scandal. I believe the official investigation called it a "suicide"

In fairness Chile's former and current president Michelle Bachelet is AFAIK pure as the driven snow
. Except for Bachelet, obviously. They are just following the example of Hillary..
Unfortunately you are incorrect. Trump had been a integral part of the Reform party(Ross Perot) since the early 90's. He wrote a book in 2000 titled The America We Deserve in which he outlines his plan for when he becomes president. Also Technically this is he second or third (depending on criteria) run for the presidency.Trump is a real estate tycoon, a self promoter extraordinaire, and an celebrity. He has been mostly consistent on nationalist/protectionist issues, although those positions don't fit his statements and actions prior to this campaign. Nationalism/protectionism issues generally have been opposed by Democrats, and ignored or given weak support by the GOP.
There used to be, maybe still is, this perception of female politicians in the US as almost inherently being reformers. I think that's a carryover from the old days when women were often at the forefront of morality and reform movements when they were largely blocked out of politics. For whatever (ahem obvious) reason that sheen has never lighted upon Hillary.Other notable women presidents in South America: Christina Fernandez Kirschner, former president of Argentina, likely had a state prosecutor killed the night before he was to indict her in an oil for hush scandal. Hillary Clinton says something that she always carries with her is.....hot sauce.
Why a millennial Latina is for Hillary and excited about it:
http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/why-hillary-clinton-thrills-the-hell-out-of-me_b_9721434.html
http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/no_i_wont_vote_for_hillary_clinton_millennial_feminist_20160211I’m a Latina millennial and I’m sick of being told I’m not a feminist because I won’t vote for Hillary Clinton.
... That said, I’m 100 percent in agreement with writer Glenn Greenwald when he states that the “Bernie bros” myth is a convenient establishment tool used to discredit Sanders and his supporters. (I mean, really, do Paul Krugman and company honestly believe we’re going to buy that Sanders supporters are all sexist pigs or that the economist himself isn’t a bro, as Greenwald points out, or that conservatives and others aren’t among those attacking Clinton?) I am far from a bro, but, I’m proud to admit, I certainly “feel the Bern.”
... Then I learned that the financial crisis, which many argue was directly caused by Bill Clinton’s push to deregulate banks, disproportionately affected blacks and Latinos with a college education. And no, Hillary is not Bill, I’m aware, but the speaking fees she’s received from banks and the advisers she surrounds herself with indicate to me she’d be no different. To me she has always seemed a bit bemused by the idea that so many Americans are disgusted by “banksters,” since these are people she calls her friends.
...
And there is Sanders’ stand against war. My first boyfriend was a young man from Oklahoma who, as I went off to college, enlisted in the Army because he wanted the benefits of the GI Bill and couldn’t afford a higher education otherwise. He made it out of Iraq and Afghanistan alive but with deep physical and psychological wounds that made it impossible for him to sit through the accounting classes he’d hoped to take.
I have plenty of other reasons to back Sanders, but right now the most meaningful to me is this: He is promising to help build the kind of nation I have for a long time dreamed America could become. For the first time since I’ve been old enough to vote, I’ve registered as a Democrat just so I could vote in my upcoming state primary. And I did something else I never thought I’d do: I donated money to a campaign, one that I believe will not only represent but fight for the rights and needs of the many over the few.
I study feminism in my Ph.D. program and often hear acquaintances call me “radical,” a “man-hater.” I can’t tell you how tired I am of these labels, but I’m far more outraged by feminists who try to discredit me or send me to hell for my lack of support for Clinton. They want me to vote for a woman who stopped believing in universal health care the minute she received a hefty sum from the health care industry, who as secretary of state was responsible for the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of women and children in the Middle East, who’s in bed with the billionaire bankers, as Elizabeth Warren would say, and who will not make the struggling 99 percent of Americans her priority.
I want a woman president of the United States of America, and I will fight like hell to see that day. But it is not here yet. That president is not Hillary Clinton.

Finally an explanation why Tim is voting for Hillary. There is a view, often expressed on my social media feeds, which maintains that I am voting for Hillary Clinton because I’m a stupid, uninformed, misguided feminist who only knows how to vote with her ignorant ######. While this may be possible,

Former President Clinton published a list of donors to his foundation Thursday to help clear the way for his wife to become secretary of state. ...
The donations to the William J. Clinton Foundation include amounts of $10 million to $25 million from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
... The governments of Kuwait and Qatar are also on the list, as is Saudi businessman Nasser Al-Rashid, who has close ties to the Saudi royal family. Saudi Sheikh Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, reputed to be one of the richest men in the world, is among the donors as well. Both Saudis contributed in the $1 million to $5 million range. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/obamas-latest-defense-of-clinton-has-lawyers-cringing/article/2588417#.VxT1sbVU67w.twitterObama's latest defense of Clinton has lawyers cringing
... "There's stuff that is really top secret, top secret, and there's stuff that is being presented to the president or the secretary of state that you might not want on the transom, or going out over the wire, but is basically stuff that you could get in open source," Obama told Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday."
National security lawyers collectively cringed, arguing that criminal charges for mishandling classified material usually are not based on whether a document is "confidential," "secret" or "top secret."
"If you were to make this case in court, you would be laughed out of the room," Bradley Moss, a lawyer who represents clients accused of mishandling classified material, told the Washington Examiner. "It's either classified or it's not ... Classified is classified and you're required to maintain it. You don't get to make that decision."
If you tried to make that argument in court, the judge would use it as further evidence of your poor judgment," he added.
...
Greg Greiner, a partner at Tully Rinckey who specializes in security clearance cases, is giving Obama the benefit of the doubt as he struggles to publicly discuss the different levels of classified information and the laws surrounding how it is handled.
But, he said, he has so many clients who have lost their security clearances and their jobs over inadvertent mishandling of classified material that Obama should be clear about what kind of message he's sending.
"He runs the military and is in charge of all the executive branch intelligence agencies," Greiner said. "... I think judges that enforce the national security rules get a little frustrated when the president diminishes that piece of the national security apparatus, intentionally or unintentionally." ...
To be fair, when I mentioned nuclear war, I wasn't really counting this as a positive for Hillary, who warhawkish ways terriffy me.Can't we all generally agree that this is probably more attributed to the "fear" element being peddled because of her potential GOP opponent? Seems like to be a HUGE factor here and on the internet. If I had a nickel for every time someone brought up SC justice elections, starting nuclear war, "setting the country back 30 years" (I don't even know what that means honestly), I'd be relaxing on some island I purchased with all those nickels.
Considering how long Trump has been around politics, it's alarming how little he knows. As much as I can't stand Hillary, at least she has a clue.
