Is it?  The kindest view of Bill's history with women is that he's a womanizer.  Hillary stated recently that all victims of sexual abuse deserve to be heard.  Oh, except of course those who accuse her husband.  They're lying.  I understand why woman would hate her duplicity.  Another log on the pile of "does Hillary really care more about people, or being President?'

Don't take this the wrong way and I'm also not making a point about Hillary's popularity with either gender.

But maybe, just maybe, you should talk to women outside of your family once in awhile

Yup.  Of the women that I know whether or not they were sexually assaulted in their lives, you can draw a line between the two groups. "Yes" is voting for Bernie, "no" is voting for Clinton.

 
It's really quite remarkable that a candidate that is apparently hated by both men and women was able to win a Senate seat, lead the Democratic primary race and be considered the odds-on favorite to win the presidency by both head to head polls and the betting markets.  I guess hermaphrodite turnout numbers must be overwhelming.

It's really quite remarkable that a woman who's been First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State and is the current presumptive favorite for President has such a persecution complex, and her supporters buy it.

Huh?  What does that have to do with my post?  I was taking a lighthearted shot at the clearly erroneous claim that "women hate her," not complaining about persecution.  And in any event I'm pretty sure the "marginalized" white males supporting Trump have cornered the market on ridiculous persecution complexes this cycle.

This.  Hillary was forced on America by a political machine that was installed over 20 years, founded on corruption and bought influence.  It's as bad as installing her campaign co-chair as Head of the DNC, and moving goal posts during the primary.  Any qualified candidate who has experience and plays to the middle would be up by double digits.  But no, party made it clear to all would-be comers that it's Hillary's turn.  

With all the talent and influence this country has, the presumptive front runners going in had to be named Clinton and Bush.  At least the People had enough choice to reject Bush, but you can see how entrenched the power base becomes once you've stacked it with cronies and you continue to reward those who stack your deck.  It's not what America should be about; although I grant you it's what America clearly is about.  

 
She's really unlikable. I don't think people like her.

What I'm saying is that likability might be an issue. Also: a liar and witch (allegedly).

While I thought this was a good joke, I must admit that I think the writer missed the mark by using the missing $6 billion instead of mentioning the email scandal. 

And I guess we finally figured out who killed Kenny.

There may be some truth to this, but to me it looks like an overly broad conclusion to a small sample size. Consider for example the president, a one term senator with almost no establishment backing who easily won the popular vote twice. Or the wave of anti-establishment tea party congressional candidates.  Or the popularity of Donald Trump, for that matter.  For something as omnipotent and entrenched as you claim the "political machine" to be, it sure has taken a lot of Ls over the last decade.

Maybe we should consider the slight possibility that, as a bunch of mostly middle-aged, middle class and upper middle class white men, we aren't really a good sample population for understanding and articulating Hillary's appeal?

I'm telling you an issue that resonates with women I know with respect to Clinton's candidacy.  It's not a "likeability" issue, it's a trustworthiness/hypocrisy issue.  And the broader issue of hypocrisy is the most likely thing to trip her up in the general election.

If the Clinton campaign is as dismissive of that issue as many of her supporters seem to be, we could be looking at President Trump. That's a big problem.

It doesn't really matter which post you're responding to because schtick doesn't really change. Someone posts something that isn't positive about Hillary and you reply with dry unfunny sarcasm. Rinse and repeat. 

 
One place the GOP contenders could unite and make themselves look strong is to release their speeches to force Hillary to release hers..
.There's no way their base will care if they are spouting pro wall street talk, and it would show some cohesion to their efforts WHILE giving her a great big turdburger

 
I think Bernie has worked his way into a VP nod. 

At this point the Republican convention is assured to be a fiasco. The Dems rallying together is going to create a pretty stark contrast. I think the Bernie supporters will help transfer that young energy to the whole ticket. 

This is setting up to be a bloodbath for Republicans.

Seems like Trump is the one candidate who really couldn't make a lot of hay out of that issue considering the Ivana allegations and his own history of womanizing and generally treating women like crap.

Hillary pretty much has to take someone to her left as VP and if you look at the voting blocks she's losing to Bernie it's necessary that she does something to shore those up. They won't vote Republican, but those are voters much more likely to sit on the sideline if they don't feel compelled to get out.

Bernie wouldn't turn down the VP slot if offered. 

She probably trounces Trump/Cruz/Romney anyway. But I think Bernie gives her the strongest overall ticket.

It's a good idea but it's possible they did not obsessively transcribe their every word like Hillary though.

His hands would be tied as her VP.  He can attempt to get more done as a Senator.

After running as the candidate of ideological purity and having so much success at it, I seriously doubt Bernie would hitch his brand to Clinton for four years. He's in his final act as a politician and I just can't see him wanting to have that little control over it. Also: that ticket would be way too old. Hillary might go with a liberal democrat, but likely one much younger.

Don't hold your breath on that happening, there is a probably a "47%" type comment that could be found with most of them.

I think the problem is that the Democrat bench sucks right now, which is why you have Bernie as a major player in the first place. 

Is there anyone else who can energize the young base and extended base the way Bernie can?

I disagree.  Trump's general misogyny is a significantly different issue from Hillary's "I've been fighting for women for 40 years, except when I wanted them to shut up for accusing my husband of sexual assault." Not to me, but to a lot of people.  And more importantly, Clinton can't hit back at Trump with that stuff because of Bill.  

A small percentage of people know about Trump's history with Ivana and everyone knows about Bill.  And Trump will do what he always does - "That's not true, that never happened.  You must be confusing me with your husband."

Also, Trump doesn't need to get people to come vote for him.  They just have to stay home, and it's half as good.  I'm very concerned about that happening in the general election.

 
With regards toHenry Ford's argument- I don't think it would fly no matter who Hillary is running against. 

No question that Hillary is having trouble currently with young women but if she is the Democratic candidate they will vote for her at the end of the day. And most women in general, according to polling, have never bought into the Republican meme that Hillary was an enabler or excuser of her husband's affairs; they have always regarded her as a victim of those affairs. Part of this is because, outside of conservatives, most Americans have never believed that Bill was an abuser or rapist, just an adulterer.
