You left out a lot of bad stuff. But we get it.
It's a common tact with @timschochet to engage in contortionist cherry-picking and generous interpretations that extend well beyond the data.  He does this repeatedly and without fail is dishonest every time he does it.  Genuinely the most intellectually dishonest person on this board, which is, IMO, why he has such a notorious, unflattering reputation on this board.

He's the only one who takes himself seriously, except for the times when he is truly abhorrent in expressing himself (see defense of Polanski rape and misogynist comments about the 13 year old teenager who was Polanski's victim, for example), at which point he gets flogged. Otherwise, the board approaches him with the curiosity and engagement of a cat who's caught a mouse and wants to keep him alive simply to be entertained.

:lmao:

For somebody who claims he doesn't take me seriously, you sure spend a lot of time trying to analyze me. You seem rather obsessed about it.

Extremely annoying things are also fascinating. For example: tornados, hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc, etc....

It should be expected that the most annoying poster on the board would also be the most analyzed poster on the board. Congrats!

What are her server guys afraid of?  One doesn't show up despite being subpoenaed, the rest plead the 5th.  If there were no wrong doing or nothing to hide, why the silence?

They don't want to get Vince Foster'd like that poor DNC intern.

Yes, there are several people here who find me annoying, apparently including you. I'm resigned to it at this point; it used to bother me more. The people I care about in this forum don't feel that way.

I agree with you, except to amend your position to state that Trump is worse than a wild card, the latter of which assumes a 50:50 chance of a positive outcome.  My beef and concern has always been that Hillary is the one and only candidate that is so unappealing and vile as an alternative that Trump might just win by default.  He has a core of devotees (deplorables?) that Hillary could only dream of, and I'm concerned her dishonesty and poor health will detract the truly independent/fence voters from supporting her. Hence, Trump potentially as the next president.
This is the most intelligent post in the entire thread. Getting rid of Hillary is the path that reduces Trumps chances of winning. Trumps best chance for winning is Hillary stays as the dem's nominee.

Putting aside everything else, you're wrong because it's too late for that. Any disruption at this point would only help Trump.

Hillary is in excellent health. She is currently suffering from pneumonia but recovering quickly. Her incessant traveling and speech making should convince anyone of this, not to mention her lengthy testimony before Congress.
Her schedule will lighten significantly when she's president.  No more speeches to give.  No more traveling.  She can spend the first year recuperating at Camp David.

What if she faints (or has an episode or whatever it is) during the State of the Union or while giving a speech in some other country?  How would that look?  Will two guys need to stand with her to prop her up at the podium?

May end up like Weekend at Bernies.  Put some lipstick on her, prop her up. One of the guys can be a ventriloquist.    They've already practiced getting her into a van in public.

And by the way, Hillary is the queen of disruptions. Her carelessness results in numerous disruptions, so if any disruption at this point would only help Trump, then it's given Trump is out next president, because Hillary can't do anything without causing disruption.

As Colin Powell correctly pointed out, she makes so many unforced errors simply out of hubris.

I don't disagree with all of this. And more importantly her disruptions seem to be hurting her more that Trump's are hurting him, and he's got way more. It's very distressing.

Still, she is at this point the only one left standing between Donald Trump and the presidency. For him to lose, she has to win.

I completely disagree... but if in the end you are right, it's same mindset that makes you wrong now that eventually makes you right in the end. It's a self fulfilling closed mindedness.

The truth is if Hillary were replaced now, her supporters would back her replacement quicker than Sanders supporters backed Hillary.

Can you imagine if Biden stepped in now?  We'd all be laughing all the way to a Trump-free White House.

We can't be the only ones who see this.  Why is the democratic machine so wedded to Clinton?  This health issue is the perfect excuse to dump her old, feeble, aloof, untrustworthy, hawkish ###.

Yep.  If the Democrats could somehow pull this off, it could be like the Bob Torricelli situation all over again.  Chuck the loser overboard and roll to an easy victory with a more palatable candidate.

I'd never vote Hillary but enthusiastically vote biden
Yup. Exactly this. So many people in this camp. So many in fact Trump very well might win because, while he is abhorrent, Hillary is not seen as an acceptable alternative.

Not that folks will go vote Trump, it's that they'll stay home. And because Trump's core support is more enthusiastic and greater than Hillary's we may see him win with his deplorables who are now more energized than ever. Stupid Hillary.

I disagree with you guys, I have from the beginning, but it's too late. It's Hillary or Trump, that's it. There's not going to be somebody else at the last minute riding in to save the day. These are your choices, and in terms of who is going to be your next President, these are your ONLY two choices. Blame me and people like me if you're inclined to do so. But don't ignore reality.

Oh so now Tim is wagging his finger telling people don't ignore reality. That's rich.

So much love for Biden. Wasn't he the butt of jokes for many haters for like 8 years?
yep, and he is the VP for the most ruinous, most divisive, most incompetent, least capable President this country has ever seen.  None of that matters, however, as people will flock to vote for lovable Joe if the dems just wise up and do the ol' switcheroo at this late date.

Makes perfect sense.

Many of us ignore Tim for a reason  Please don't provide us a summary of his current nonsense.

And please don't quote his posts.

Sometimes his posts leak through the ignore firewall.  He's so awful I sometimes can't contain myself.  My bad. I'll do better next time.

The Clinton Machine delivers so much cash - directly and indirectly - to the DNC, and various candidates, that the DNC is beholden to them - so they think.
She truly is a mob boss...the question for the dems is there a Gotti willing to take her out...

Yes because then all of the Trump voters will suddenly turncoat and vote D.

Like there are vast swaths of Obama voters planning on voting Trump because HRC isn't acceptable.

Most people get that it will be Hillary or Trump at this point. But I'm sure everyone's waiting on Joe, or whatever nonsense.

We can play games until November, but then it will be time to choose between the two.

Why not take Trump out? Then you'll get all the Hillary haters to vote R? So why not that?

Because he can finish a speech without passing out...

Its not that hard-core Dems are going to suddenly vote Trump - its about the Dems on the fringes.  Its also about the voter enthusiasm for Clinton.  A Dem who stays home on election day, hurts - not as much as one who votes Trump, but in an election where the best arguments from both candidates seem to be "At least I am not him/her" turnout could be the most important factor on election day.

Turnout will be fine for the fringe democrats precisely because they are #nevertrumpers.  Hardcore dems are voting Hillary because she won the Democratic primary and has been tilted left thanks to Bernie.  All the rest of the doom and gloom is pregame jitters fueled by Clinton's health concerns.  Once the debates are in the books I expect a big rebound for Hillary.
