I'm going to say at the beginning - she was always flawed on multiple levels, as you were constantly reminded - and then she completely and totally played into her own stereotypes with the her misdeeds in the email investigation but then her own constant dissembling about it.

The Democrats always should have had a Plan B, they should have let the chips fall where they may.

I somewhat suspect that Trump's success always had a little something to do with the presence of Jeb Bush and Hillary in the first place. They were more or less red flags waived at the angry electorate bull.

I agree, Hillary performed better than Trump in the debates and at the convention.  But Trump was easily beatable.  Shoot Hillary will easily win the popular vote.  But her personality and her scandals weighed a lot more than you know.  Trump would have lost to Biden or Sanders.

To be fair, i'm ecstatic Ron Johnson won here in WI, defeating that lying, duplicitous, self-serving, do-nothing scumbag Feingold.  His victory, to me, was the biggest thing out of this whole election.

I'll try to keep my gloating down, but a good portion of Hillary supporters were so zealous, vocal and condescending (not only to Trump supporters, but Bernie supporters as well) that we almost have an absolute right to gloat and not feel bad about it.

  Comey tried to walk a fine line.  It is impossible to make both sides happy and he successfully pissed off both sides.  In the end, there was a reason there was an investigation and that buck has to stop with Hillary.

This really is a stunning setback for Hillary. She has again failed to connect with voters or establish a compelling narrative. 

More than that, it begins to undermine her crucial electability issue. More than 2.25 million votes were cast in Michigan tonight and Hillary got less than 25% of them. She is a terrible candidate who is already at her ceiling everywhere in America. There's not a single voter who is going to suddenly learn about her and get on board.

I have no problem with this, but a small reminder: Hillary Clinton is going to win the popular vote.  Not by the margin she should have won it by, to be sure. But this is also not some massive populist movement that has taken over the nation. It's a localized but perfectly positioned one.

THIS, I think, was the Clinton campaign's massive failure.  They looked at a changing national electorate and played to that instead of looking at the states and demographics given outsize influence by the electoral map and playing to that.  She should have taken on Sanders or Warren as VP and promised to heed their calls on trade (I think it's bad economics, but sometimes you have to play politics).  She should have highlighted Trump's poor record with organized labor and small businesses.  That could have saved her the needed votes in the Great Lakes and made the electoral map match the popular vote.

Yes, Hillary shouldn't have done it, but I view it as negligence at worst but it was spun into sinister criminal behavior - I still view it as all smoke and no fire (as with all the criminal accusations against Hillary).

No no no.  We need to stop this kind of stuff.  We need an impartial FBI and DOJ.  The last 8 years have been a disgrace in that regard.  I don't want any party in power, be it Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, or whatever to be above the law.  Having the Eric Holders of the world use the DOJ to simply be the strong arm of the party of the Presidency has to stop.
