However, I would certainly enjoy the insta-fanbase be disappointed, though I don't think they would care honestly. Who I feel bad for is all the real Seahawk fans being lumped in with the toolboxes.

There are a handful of teams that can say if they get home field advantage they can go all the way, win 2 and you're in. Personally I like that and I love fan bases with passion. I find the Seahawk brand of football boring though, on the other hand it's a throwback to 70s football which people lament losing. And it's good to see a long underdog franchise finally make it.

I don't know how anyone could find Lynch's running style "boring."

I'm a Bills fan who didn't realize until during the game that I'd rather root for the Pats than the Seahawks.

I look at what Carroll did at USC and I think his actions were worse than Belichek's.

I noticed tim has hate in his heart for the Pats as well, so was curious if there was a deep running current of Steelers antipathy towards the Pats.

Shame there couldn't have been a team in the game that was universally tolerated, if not liked.

I rooted for them last year and was happy when they won. But Richard Sherman annoys the hell out of me. And so does Marshawn Lynch. And they were gifted a Super Bowl appearance this season, so I think it should taint any eventual repeat. Unfortunately, I also hate the Patriots. Definite Hater Bowl situation this season. I'm just going to sit and watch and hate.

Yeah that's dumb. But oh the horror, think of the children watching. How will they recover today after seeing a man acting like he pooped. I personally prefer my players to write a thank you note in calligraphy and fine stationary.

Most of them aren't seattle fans, just bandwagoners. There's probably only about 1000 real seattle fans that followed this trainwreck of a franchise since day one, the other several million gave up at some point during the 80's or 90's or 2000's after putting the head bags away.
