Not really, but it would be funny if the Sens actually win. This series was destined for a Game 7
Coworker is the biggest sports fan of a team I have ever seen (Pens fan). I may not see him for a couple weeks if the Sens winNot really, but it would be funny if the Sens actually win.
Boucher looks a little psycho
I was, uh, one of the authors of the Port Huron Statement.--The original Port Huron Statement.
It's a matter of perspective. That would be tragic IMO.Not really, but it would be funny if the Sens actually win.
If you will it Dude, it is no dreamIt's a matter of perspective. That would be tragic IMO.
Yes he was outstanding. I had a very bad feeling after the Pens had dominated so completely in the 2nd period but only had 1 goal to show for it.Anderson absolutely stole that game. Hope he comes back down to Earth for game 7. Pens could have had 4 or 5 goals in the second period. Hats off to Ottawa, they're much tougher than I thought they would be coming in to the series.

I am obviously biased -- but I have a hard time believing that anyone would think that Sens / Preds would be more entertaining hockey than Pens / Preds. Of course I get the Pens-hate angle, but they are damn fun to watch regardless of whether you want them to win or lose. No more neutral zone trap please.Shoosh. I sure hope he makes the finals.
I wish they could both loseI am obviously biased -- but I have a hard time believing that anyone would think that Sens / Preds would be more entertaining hockey than Pens / Preds. They will both lose, one tomorrow and another in the coming weeks.I wish they could both lose
You know the SCF games will typically start at 8:00. Are you planning to watch?I'd like to see some Nashville on Canada crime in the SCF. Feck Pittsburgh.
Really like this Preds squad. Think Rinne is going to play great in the SCF too.
This in itself is what makes hockey playoffs so great - just get a ticket and anything can happen.
I'm just so happy we don't have a west coast team involvedYou know the SCF games will typically start at 8:00. Are you planning to watch?
Also, I might just DVR and watch when I wake up at 4am drinking my prune juice. Could be finished with enough time to take a nap before Price is Right. You know the SCF games will typically start at 8:00. Are you planning to watch?
I'm just quoting Sam Elliott in Big Lebowski.I am obviously biased -- but I have a hard time believing that anyone would think that Sens / Preds would be more entertaining hockey than Pens / Preds. I think the Pens need a few more top 5 overall draft picks to make them really interesting.I am obviously biased -- but I have a hard time believing that anyone would think that Sens / Preds would be more entertaining hockey than Pens / Preds. Sens have fans? Could've fooled me (and their ticket sales office).I'm just quoting Sam Elliott in Big Lebowski.
I really was just rooting for Game Seven so I could watch hockey on Thursday. Of course, fans of the teams are nerve wracked over it.
Don't be jealous man. It's not a good way to live your life.I think the Pens need a few more top 5 overall draft picks to make them really interesting.
I'm not jealous, I just don't like the Pens and their fair weather fans.Don't be jealous man. It's not a good way to live your life.
too bad they wasted all the prime years of Crosby and Malkins' careers with early playoff exits.I think the Pens need a few more top 5 overall draft picks to make them really interesting.
And I'm just pissed that I have to DVR it knowing full well that I won't be able to resist checking the score on my phone every 2 minutes at my daughter's choir concert.I'm just quoting Sam Elliott in Big Lebowski.

I love the "fair weather fan" take. Yes Pittsburgh has fair weather fans. So does Boston. So does Philly. So does every other city. When a team is doing well, typically fans show up. When a team is playing poorly, typically fans do not show up. There are some exceptions but that's the usually the case in any city for any sport.I'm not jealous, I just don't like the Pens and their fair weather fans.
I'd say resist the urge, but you darn well know that some guy or woman is going to talk about the game on the way to the parking lot and you're going to hear it, anyway. And I'm just pissed that I have to DVR it knowing full well that I won't be able to resist checking the score on my phone every 2 minutes at my daughter's choir concert.![]()
zero fair weather fans in Smashville. we support our guys no matter what.I love the "fair weather fan" take. Yes Pittsburgh has fair weather fans. So does Boston. So does Philly. I did say there were exceptions, didn't I?zero fair weather fans in Smashville. we support our guys no matter what.
Well, growing up in Western, PA and having a crap ton of family there, I feel I have a great perspective of how fair weather bs they are. Most couldn't name 5 players on the team. I mean for real, at least know how to say Malkin and Fluery names correctly.I love the "fair weather fan" take. Yes Pittsburgh has fair weather fans. So does Boston. So does Philly. I'm a huge Patriots hater but I can admit that it's due to pure jealousy. I still respect the team.
Typical middle school choir, but they're pretty good all things considered. Blows that they have the big year-end concert at 8:00 on a Thursday period IMO; having to miss most of game 7 makes it sooo much worse.I'd say resist the urge, but you darn well know that some guy or woman is going to talk about the game on the way to the parking lot and you're going to hear it, anyway.
Sorry about that. Is it a good choir, at least? :shrugs:
@fantasycurse42 Name 5 Preds please. No google.Well, growing up in Western, PA and having a crap ton on family there, I feel I have a great perspective of how fair weather bs they are. Oh yeah Pittsburgh fans are obnoxious. No doubt about it. I live in Philly and I'm also annoyed by Philly fans. I'm just saying that the fair weather BS is everywhere. The Sixers have been a terrible product for several years now and nobody is going to the games. Now they have some young talent and magically people will start to show up. Philly is considered to be one of the best sports towns in the countryWell, growing up in Western, PA and having a crap ton on family there, I feel I have a great perspective of how fair weather bs they are. Clearly a typo... Didn't even name the man who is going to score 5 goals in the SCF.
